The service and the employees are terrible, the cashier does not talk at all and the food is not done correctly, they give you the food without any of the consideration that you detailed at the beginning, also they forget your order the second time that you ask to be done correctly, terrible service.

You guys lose points at service.why do you make ppl wait so long? Staff talking to friends in front and SUPER LAZY unimpressed manager wiping the sleep in her eye with a phone to her face. If I owned this store I'd get a better manager. I'll skip this location forever.

Nice clean location. The food is always good here. The staff have always been friendly at this location and the drive through does a lot of business most days. Busy location, fresh food.

Service was as expected, however, the ice coffee was terrible. Took twenty minutes waiting in the drive-thru for it also. Apparently their machine was running extremely slow.

This location is hit and miss. I have had good food here at lunch time previously, so this is more a review for late night. Counter service is decent enough for fast food, and they recently reno'd inside and its nice again for as far as fast food restaurants go.

Last night (about 10p.m.) I mobile ordered 2 Dave's single burgers. When I went to pickup at the drive through I was informed they were out of Cheddar (kind of weird as this is an important secondary ingredient on all of their burgers) and I was offered Asiago cheese or shredded cheese. I opted for Asiago as it sounded like the better quality of the two, but it really tasted off. My burgers were also missing ketchup and was very light on mayo. They were honestly kind of dry and bordering on gross.

I will probably stick to the Wendy's on the corner Hammond Bay rd.going forward.

I don't know what happened but I don't like the burgers here as much as I used to I had the double baconator. I will say that the frosty's are really good. Maybe just go for the loss leader

A kind young emplyee was reprimanded infront of us by their manager for asking a simple question. It didn't seem like a respectful way to treat any employee. All of the employees we dealt with were very kind but the atmosphere was tense and heavy.

Every time I've gone to this location it hasn't been great. The food hasn't been good and recently I got an ice coffee and it was.it was bad. It was like it was a cup full of old coffee remnants at the bottom of the pot with a teaspoon of milk. It was super bitter and warm for an ice coffee and than they told me they don't have ice. The wait times are also an issue. I've ordered inside, using the app and the drive thru. Each time I've had to wait 15 minutes, the time I used the app it was 20 minutes and they forgot half my order so I had to go ask for it and wait. I would recommend the other location on Hammond bay.

One out of three. I ordered a #7, no pickles, medium fries and a medium diet coke. I got a #7, WITH pickles, which I hate, small fries, and a diet Coke. Yes, 1 out of 3 correct. 6: 55pm on a Monday. Hardly busy.
Next time I'll go to Dairy Queen.
Also, this review, along with all the rest I see that aren't good will not be addressed because they just don't care.

Food has always been alright, but it has always been my go to, when I just need some comfort food.

Wish i could give 0 stars, they served me a raw spicy chicken burger, really gross and bad place always have new staff, please avoid this location

If the drive thru has more than three cars, you can't see people at the ordering place

The food is always awesome here.service is spotty at best. It is not uncommon to get a grumpy girl at the till- if the equipment is not working she is worse or if they are having problems scanning your Wendy's app offer be prepared to be yelled at. They do have problems with the bathrooms.it seems from transients being in there too long, so they will lock them. Often I take my meal to go, as the tables are dirty (I have gone in at different times and this still rings true).

Service extremely slow. They stopped taking orders several times as I waited for my order. Food was good.

Got some chicken strips. They were good. Topped em off with my #hornbyislandhotsauce by #the2jers sooo amazing

Food was great for fast food, although the service was a bit slow. Always was wondering why the drive-through was packed and went in to order. The people working there were pretty slow to take orders and everything just was below the normal fast food restaurant speeds waited around 5 to order, and again to get my food

Asked for vinegar, didn’t get it. Asked for strawberry frosty, got chocolate. No straw for soft drink.

What can I say.it's Wendy's. They are consistent for fast food. Would be my go-to over any fast food restaurant.

Still easily the best fast food salad around, and service is quick. Not a fan of the new makeover where everything is grey tones and no more retro music; the vibe isn't as cheerful. Always short-staffed, they really need to hire more people to keep the line moving quickly. And no, Wendy's, don't make your already skeleton crew do more, just hire more people. These guys are run off their feet every time I see them, whi know how they keep a smile on their faces.

Waited over 30 min to not get my food saw 4 other people get served the same food I ordered. Asked for refund and heard staff arguing over who's fault and who's fault it wasn't.

Supervisor said they would talk to staff though it seems like it's going to be harsh blaming and criticism then constructive.

Shame I was looking forward to it.

It's a franchise, owners refer to your manuals and hire the right staff.

Out of all the fast food restaurants in Nanaimo, I think this is the best. Great food, chili, salads, etc. I would highly recommend it.

I keep forgetting how nice the inside of this place is since they did their big renovation. Very open, bright and modern. Good food, and great service as well.

Ordered sausage egg n cheese biscuit. Got egg n cheess only. No meat. Went back to window to complain and they were so slow. Took 5 mins to begin making a new sandwich and i was late for work sad expirience not the first time
