Wendy's Top Tailor - Alteration and Dry Cleaning

Wendy was tremendous! Not only did she complete the rush job on time as promised, she did an incredible job! Shes such a lovely lady and I love the alterations to my suit. Will happily be returning for all my alterations.

I’m actually shocked at how I was treated here, I’ve brought pants in before and never had an issue so I don’t know why this time was so different.

I took a dress in for a simple alteration and they botched it so bad, it was clearly a rushed job with loose threads everywhere and my dress wasn’t even symmetrical.

After trying to fix it and somehow making it worse, all I got was a “the dress is good enough” and a nod. I politely asked for a refund because my dress is ruined and I was now $85 in the hole and apparently “they don’t do that here. ”

I kept my cool yet I was met with arrogance and disrespect, refusing to acknowledge that the dress was worse than before.

To be honest it seems quite obvious they knew they were ripping me off. The employees speak perfect English when doing transactions yet when there’s an issue they suddenly don’t understand?

Needless to say I walked away with a ruined dress and never got my money back. Sad I wasted my time and my money here… please don’t make the same mistake I did, save your clothes and wallet and go somewhere else!

Wendy is not only an exceptional tailor but also a genuinely kind-hearted and warm person. Her expertise shines through in the way she expertly altered numerous tops for me, all while offering highly competitive prices. Beyond her tailoring skills, Wendy has been incredibly helpful in various aspects, including providing advice and assistance outside of her primary tailoring services.

I have such confidence in Wendy's abilities that I trust her not only with my tailoring needs but also for dry cleaning and cutting services in Vancouver. However, if I may offer a small suggestion for improvement, it would be related to time management. I completely understand that businesses can experience high volumes of work, and I personally had a suit tailored by Wendy that took an entire year to complete. Fortunately, this wasn't a rush job for me, so it didn't pose a significant issue. Nevertheless, ensuring more timely results could further solidify trust and satisfaction among customers.

She did an excellent job altering my boyfriend’s suit in just one day and helped me take measurements for a custom dress I was ordering online for a small fee. I came back to have her take a look at the dress when it arrived because I thought needed to be altered, but after trying it on, she showed me how to secure it properly so it would fit and recommended not to have anything altered. She even took her time to help me take photos wearing it, even though I did not end up needing her services the second time.

I appreciated how honest and helpful she was. She works very quickly and you can tell she cares about each of her customers. I highly recommend her for any tailoring needs.

Wendy did an amazing job altering my jumpsuit. It was for a special occasion and she did several complicated things beautifully (including cutting the pants open in the front to recreate the lines to fit my long torso). She also suggested some things, like adding shoulder pads to up the drama factor.

We brought three really important items to her under a time crunch and they were all ready in record time. She is also big-hearted and funny. And great with children! She has that magic toddler touch, which is everything when you’re covered in pins and trying to corral your child at the same time.

We will be bringing all of our items to Wendy from now on!
