It's the best music store, instruments rental and Music training institute in the Okanagan. The staff are great, the prices are average.

I took my guitar in to get the electronics looked at, and Dustin went out of his way to figure out a tricky problem. He even changed out my strings and polished the neck. I will definitely be back!

My fav shop in town! Amazing workers! They really go above and beyond and are always willing to help out. Dustin setup one of my guitars and did an absolutely superb job! Overall pleasant experiences.

Love the setup I got from one of their guitar techs. Rave to their awesome staff too, very informative and professional.

Bought a keyboard for my friend and then they went to pick it up after it was delivered to the store and was told they needed to either upgrade the model or also get the stand and seat with it because it was discontinued. It took them an hour just to get out of the store with the keyboard that I purchased.

First time in and I'll definitely be back! They have a great selection of ALL musical instruments and very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
PJ in particular went above and beyond to help me build my ideal sounding drum kit with his extensive knowledge of cymbals.

I brought my guitar in to have a string put on and the guy gave me a free tuner. I didn't realize it though untill I got home so thankyou very much it was a nice surprise.

So it's difficult to touch on everything that has to do with this store in a short review but here it goes. The store has ALOT of inventory. Of all kinds of stuff related to music. For the most part you can go in and ask for something related to music and you will find something in both your price range and functionality to fit your needs right on site. They have guitars from $200 to $4000. Just as an example. The staff are quite knowledgeable in general but if they are not as schooled in the area that you need info on they always know which one of their colleagues has more info to help you. They have price match guarantee on almost everything in the store I think (Don't quote me on the EVERYTHING part). Basically if you need to know something related to music this is a good place to go. Oh I think they also have a full fledged music school on site as well!

Great staff, friendly, helpful, informative, lots of selection, unique instruments (ocarinas, tongue drums). Super experience.

I have to give 5 stars because even though they didn't have the hard to find connector I needed the guy at the front greeted me and walked with me to where the part might be. Very helpful and friendly.

Great service from the guys in the drum department finding a small, hard to find replacement part for my older Pearl drums. Great service and even sent it to Vernon free of charge … above and beyond the call!

Popped in the other day with a friend who needed some new strings. I felt like a kid in a candy store! An amazing selection of stringed rock instruments. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They didn’t mind our browsing but might have been more concerned had we starting picking up the expensive stuff. Although I’m a newbie, I felt welcomed. Thanks.

Great Okanagan Valley music store, have been doing business with the Wentworth family and Staff for over 20 years, great prices, great service. And now that Keystone Music is moving over to this facility, even more highly recommended!

I purchased a Taylor guitar, as a beginner I wanted a decent guitar that I could use as I progress to intermediate. The staff were excellent in helping me narrow down my choices; as a lefty I was limited but still some good choices. I ended up buying it from an out of province dealer as Wentworth weren’t expecting stock for 6 months due to the supply chain issues. After my first year I took it into them for a tuneup and new strings; Peter and the service staff were more than helpful. When I got it back it sounded better than new. They were very courteous, professional and did not make any judgement on where I purchased the guitar. Great service!

I visited Wentworth music yesterday. Terrible Experience. I had called previously and was told that the store will take in in guitars on trade or consignment but I would have to bring the guitar in. So I brought it in. I brought in a Squire Fretless bass which I thought was in excellent/mint condition. After speaking with the gentleman on the counter for a few moments, another employee (a manager I think) walked by and instantly started knocking down my guitar. Stating things like "Ski Jump" etc.when referring to the headstock. I am not a Luthier nor do I really know the technical ins and outs of the guitar. So, after humiliating me in front of the counter staff he took me and my guitar over to the tech bench to see if he could adjust it, all the while grinning and expecting me to think it is all a big joke. He then proceeded to engage the techs at the benches pointing out to them what a wrecked guitar I have and seeming to encourage them to have a laugh with him about my guitar.he then attempted to adjust the truss rod in the neck the only result being that he stripped the truss rod nut and now the truss rod cannot be adjusted at all. Not happy about that let me tell you. He then told me in no uncertain terms that the guitar is worthless. I immediately picked up my guitar and proceeded to leave but not before I politely told him how he had made me feel. No one in the store interceded while he was dealing with me in this most unprofessional way.

Back in May I bought a high end microphone, top-of-the-line…took it to a gig down in Osoyoos and The microphone did not work!? All the musicians said it was a faulty microphone, take it back! Monday morning I took it in to Wentworth Music, talked to Jon, he assured me that it was a phantom microphone, he was going to prove it to me! He did indeed! Also went as far as say, send me a picture of your system to make sure it has that option on its board, he also assured me most musicians do not know much about soundboards, case in point.thank you JonRoss, you made my day

Hello! I have been going to Wentworth for 3 years now and the staff and other students have been nothing but kind and amazing people! For these 3 years i have been working with a vocal teacher named Amanda and i would absolutely recommend her to anyone that wants to start vocal lessons at Wentworth!

We went in today to purchase our 15 year old her first guitar, they had a great selection of acoustic guitars (also much more) we where only there for a guitar. The gentleman we dealt with was very noligable and also played the instruments we chose as neither of us can play.he gave us great advise, they have a variety of prices from low to extremely high dependant on quality and sound and materials. We made our purchase, and did not feel pressured in any way to buy. We will be back again maybe for lessons. Thank you

Plugged in and checked Stingray Special while kids choose their instruments, there is good selection for any age. Super friendly and helpful staff, great experience overall.

Wentworth music has been a staple in our children's lives teaching them both guitar and piano lessons. It has been our number one source for all our music needs including repairs and new equipment. The staff are knowledgable, kind and professional. Our community is very fortunate to have the expertise of Wentworth Staff and its teachers!

One of my bucket list items for years has been to learn to play the guitar. So with the way the world has been i finally bought an acoustic guitar and came to Wentworth for lessons. My entire family has always taken our guitars here for setups and repairs. I recently made the mistake of trying a different local tech under recommendation from a friend. What a huge mistake that was. Wentworth Music, I'm sorry that I tried somewhere else, you have our business for life

I have been in to Wentworth music a few times now for various things and have found the staff to be very courteous and knowledgeable. My last visit I was helped by Matt T.who recommended some great videos on how to re-string my classical guitar. Will definitely be returning for any further musical queries and would highly recommend checking out Wentworth Music.

All the staff I interacted with were very helpful and extremely nice. I bought a guitar and it did have a minor imperfection, but It can be fixed with the free set up they gave me. They have a huge selection of guitars and parts.

I've always had a great experience here, I will definitely be bringing in my Jaguar for a set up soon. Awesome and very knowledgeable staff.

I dropped off a Guild Songbird, acoustic electric that I had for years. I didn't play it, but when I finally picked it up, noted the action was brutal.

The tech cautioned me that the neck was a bit twisted & things might not end well but they'd do their best.

To my delight, they have done a wonderful job of setting the action & breathing new life into this old beauty. Job well done guys & thanks.

Bought beautiful guitar at the sister store in Kelowna, and found some issues upon getting home. I was told it would take a day to remedy. I went to Wentworth and Karl took care of me right on the spot and I left WITH MY GUITAR 30 min.later. It has been years, truly, since I have received such GREAT SERVICE!
I will definitely shop here again.

In the past I have done music lessons with a variety of teachers but was never truly interested in any instruments. After starting piano at Wentworth, I truly gained a passion for the instrument due to my great teacher. The faculty is kind and helpful, and the teachers are skilled at the instruments they teach.

My dad bought his harmonicas at this place for many years. They sell lots of different instruments. If they can't repair something they will refer you to someone. Lessons can be taken here. This is the place to check out for all your music needs. Staff is friendly and helpful. Located on Harvey ave in Kelowna.

Very busy tech shop, so be careful with your guitars here. I paid for a setup on a brand new guitar - purchased in their shop - and they did a half-a$$ed job. I took the guitar back for a 2nd go, and still buzzed to oblivion. As it turns out, my guitar needed some fret work.

I went elsewhere and she plays like a dream now. You have better options in town.tip to management: Don't include shop work in the sticker price if you're not willing to do the best possible job. Just charge more or turn down / refer the work.

We have nothing but great things to say about Wentworth! The quality of their instructors is unparalleled. We have the absolute pleasure of having Amanda and Trina teach our son. The passion and energy is evident from the moment we walk in the door each week. Thank-you Wentworth.

I take lessons here, their voice lessons are fantastic and I've also learned to play the guitar thanks to them. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Friendly and supportive staff, great music store with so much selection. I love browsing, it's always my first thought on where to get equipment. I'm also grateful to have the opportunity to be involved in their concerts, great experiences and so much fun to watch a whole concert unfold. Learned so much not only from my teachers, but also from the rental department in the store.

I’ve been taking vocal lessons with Amanda Morazain at Wentworth for over 10years, every week I look forward to my lesson. The growth and improvement in my voice would not of been possible without the guidance of Amanda and the opportunities Wentworth Music has to offer. The dedication from all of the staff at Wentworth Music is incredible, I am so lucky to be able to take lessons here!
