Ryan and Noah installed a 5.4 KW solar system on my roof and did a really great job. I was especially impressed with how they fished wires through my drop ceiling and attic so no wiring would show on the outside of the house. I would definitely recommend them if your thinking of getting solar.

Beware of price. May have premium workmanship. The quote I received to upgrade my electrical panel was more than double the price of quotes from multiple other companies. This company could have a premium quality of work that justifies the price difference. I did not have them do any work from me. But I do believe that the public should be aware that there are less expensive options in the city. I am not sure what rating to give.

They had a job opening for an apprentice, I applied through indeed, and talked to Ryan over the phone and Ryan said he will take me on two days of ride along where I will see their work expectations and they will see how I work. And got a text message from Ryan stating that I will be going on ride along the next day. But after some time I got another text by saying they are working outside the city and will text me once they get back to city jobs. I waited almost a week and text Ryan to check on my ride along schedule. Ryan replied “Hey we did manage to find somebody in the meantime so we're no longer looking” I will not say anything more, you guys can see how professional that guy was.

I had Dylan as my electrician. Right from the start it was a positive experience. I had moved into a brand new home after relocating from Ontario. It was a friend that refered me to Dylan and that took me to West Copper Electric. I had a lot of requests with relocation of outlets, as well as new installation of outlets, dimmer switches, door bell ringers, security cameras. What I really like with the whole experience was that I was heard, respected and they worked with me. Dylan made some really good recommendations. I never felt like he was trying to sell me up, but rather suggesting things I hadn’t thought of.
I will definitely work with the company and Dylan again. Highly recommend the company AND Dylan. ;)

We had West Copper Electric come and do work at our dental office; Brightside Dental. They were on time, provided a quote for what we wanted done and did the work right then and there. Dylan was very patient with working around our busy schedule and making sure he didn't interrupt our day! They maintained a cleanly work area which is super important in a medical office. Will definitely have them come back!

Had a ceiling fan replaced, the service was great, he was very friendly and professional, took good care of the equipment and was quick which was really appreciated.

Dylan installed the electronic car charger for us; then he offered free electrical inspection around the house. We had him fix light switches and changed some of our broken light bulbs that were very high up into LED lights. He also cleaned up after work; he is friendly and professional. We are very happy with his work.

Ryan and Joe were very professional, transparent, and friendly during the entire process from beginning to end. Will use West Copper again for future installs.

West Copper was the sub on a Total Restoration project at my home. They had to remove/reinstall thirteen ceiling potlights, two fixtures, and two speakers as well as one outlet on our fireplace. The work was done well and in a timely fashion but one of the speaker grills was damaged in the process.

When this was brought up, it took a little time to get it sorted out [sourcing was a challenge] but they never pushed back and were professional about it. This, even though they ended up having to order new speakers just to get a replacement grill. To me, this speaks highly of their integrity as a company as the speakers were not inexpensive.

Would definitely use them again.

Shane who is employed with West Copper Electric was amazing in with installing a small chandelier in our bathroom that required squeezing through a small space in our roof, threading an extra line in the roof towards the light switch at the other end. Shane was not only accurate in where I wanted the chandelier but also was degilent in ensuring all of our panels were able to manage the load we have with the house. Needed an electrician to complete a dishwasher installation. Called on a Friday and Ryan had someone at our house on Monday. The electrician (Joe) was very professional and did quality work.

These guys did a fantastic job of making my home safe in term of wiring for a light fixture that was not properly grounded (I had no idea!). They were the electricians hired by Total Restoration to assist with our ceiling repair, and their only job there was to reinstall what was already there. Instead, the owner called me to let me know some items were concerning and it would be really good and safer to get this all up to code (old house with lots of DIY wiring when we purchased it). We ended up replacing all the worn and possibly hazardous switches and plugs in most of the rooms because he thought to call us and ask. I really appreciate that level of service. Further, when I saw one plug was not working they returned free of charge to replace it and even fit in a replacement light fixture for me. I would 100% recommend these guys - well worth the price and they value you as a customer, and are friendly to boot. Cant go wrong here!

The electrician came unprepared and just gave us a quote instead of doing the work. That lead to me scrambling last minute to find an electrician that I had to pay extra to come on Saturday and do the work. I hope this is not typical of these guys but here is my experience anyway.

Ryan was fantastic! Worked hard to ensure we could get approved for a permit before giving us a quote and then came in under budget. They were quick to respond to messages, set up an install time, and they worked professionally and happily on the day. Highly recommend!
