I visit this place mostly for a gym.
It is nice, well designed, clean, and very well maintained.

This centre is has quite a few activities. The library here is amazing and i must compliment the staff for their wonderful service. The centre is clean, staff are courteous and friendly and the centre is very conscious about the environment and have resources about going green, keeping the environment safe and clean. I recently went to the library to use the computer and printer, and the process was seamless and so accessible and the staff there we so nice helping our elders use the computer.

Awesome they have everything you'd need and not just that but also they are very polite and service is above and beyond!

Excellently run Covid vaccine clinic! Wait times are resonably low and they keep you moving through efficiently.

I have just started going to the gym there, it is basic but functional. It has all the equipment that you need for a good workout, although some of the equipment could be updated.

There is no music so it is a good idea to bring a source of music and some headphones.

There are lockers but you need to bring you own lock, there are also wallet lockers too, you make up your own code, lock the door and scramble the numbers to secure. Out your number in and unlock to open, easy!

I have so far found that most people are accommodating to others by not sitting on the equipment, doing nothing. They actually get on with their workout.

Your membership also includes access to pools and community centres in and around the area.

I would recommend this community centre.

They've allowed it to get rundown, but 4 stars for persisting: it's needed and has so much potential. Come on West Enders. Get involved to maximize and beautify a city treasure!

Great ice rink, the "games" room needs some work, TV sound would be better turned down but polite staff.

Came to the West End Community Centre for a Xmas craft fair, and had an opportunity to confirm why these buildings are so important for neighborhoods. Community Centres usually include a few sports facilities, in this case a hockey rink that doubles as a basketball court. There's also an auditorium and several multiple use rooms. Together, these facilities offer a wide range of possibilities that are important to bring people together. This is specially important for those that have arrived to this country recently, a great way to integrate them to the community. Yesterday, this multi-cultural environment was quite evident, and it was great to see!

Helpful and knowledgeable staff went there to get and another time to renew my parking pass, both times got in and out in just a couple minutes.

Very close to my house, great gym, affordable pass, with 50 cad I am able to use gym, swimming pool and other things.

I had an intro session with Mark at the fitness center, I expected it to be a quick over but it was a very detailed and personable two hour session, he was incredibly helpful and friendly, I highly recommend the fitness center and it's qualified staff.

Good community centre. I like going to the gym to workout. Only thing is I wish they were open later on weekends. Closing at 5 is a little bit early!

Great little community centre, love the fact that there is a branch of the library there. Workout centre - skating rink in the winter - the availability of courses, languages, music, pottery, acting, photography.

Registered for class, got email with everyone's personal info. Then class was cancelled. Need to get their privacy policy together.

I live in West Vancouver, but will always travel to this Community Center, to workout. In my opinion, it has such a great vibe, awesome and knowledgeable staff, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and is tucked into one of Vancouver's best neighborhood's.

From my Brazilian point of view it is awesome: a public and well manteined building with good and confortable library; several classes of sports and arts; gymnasium for sports (during my visit it was serving as an ice skating place) ; services for the community (like parking permits). A wonderful meeting point for the people in this neighbourhood.

This place is screaming for an upgrade. It sure would be nice if I didn't have to travel to the Richmond Oval for activities that Downtown should offer. Half the players that sign up for UrbanRec Richmond are from downtown.
