West Kelowna Urgent and Primary Care Centre

Nurse was nice but the wait time was ridiculous. An hour and a half in lobby and another half hour waiting for a doctor to come into the room they put me in to wait?

I took my 97 year old Mom in last week as she no longer has a Doctor and needed to be checked over for edema in both legs! I could not have been more impressed with the kind and professional support we received during the two hours we were there. Everyone from the male receptionist to the intake RN Social Worker Delightful lady Doctor etc, could not have been more supportive! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Dealing with older patients in such a lovely way could not have been more appreciated at this very stressful time in my life - Thank you Linda and Jean

All the staff were very pleasant and considerate. Happy to give assurance to elders and young alike. Much appreciated and thanks to you all.

Extremely slow, first time was here for 3 hours. They screwed up a test so called me three days later to come back and said it will be quick if you tell reception what happened. Throat had got worse in the mean time then had to wait an additional 2.5 hours for them to see me again. If you can help it avoid coming here. Unfortunately my doctors office sent me here because they won’t see someone with a sore throat right now.

Excellent! The front staff and the nurse were extremely helpful and got my mother in there right away, today. Her and my father are extremely grateful.

These people who work at West Kelowna Urgent Care are so amazing! They treated my Mom with such thoroughness, care and concern. They work with excellence.

Had to go in Boxing Day for a nail resection (ingrown toenail).
Very friendly staff and great service.

Horrible experience horrible L lol any stuff I guess they take only losers graduate for this positions here 0 of compassion thrums said they are closing in 5 minutes… really you want to go home early working in emergency service? You can save someone’s live in 5 min! And they don’t want to serve anybody 5 min till closing really? This is horrible this is North right at all!

My grandpa fell and hit his head requiring stitches, I brought him here. He's extremely hard of hearing but the staff were so patient, kind and understanding. The female doctor who saw him went above and beyond in treating him and ensuring I knew what steps were to be taken for his wound care after. He told me when we left it was some of the best medical care he's recieved.

See a doctor based on urgency but don't ask the questions at reception to properly determine that. People keep coming in and you get bumped if they don't think you're a priority. Opens at 430pm (closes at 830pm) by 630pm they're already telling ppl who come in they can wait but they probably won't see a doctor tonight. Admin at front desk, chatting and laughing behind the glass while ppl are suffering and uncomfortable, commenting that they don't have a magic wand after the person leaves. They ask questions, discuss things and list you're phone number for all to hear in the waiting room. The idea of having this Urgent care so you don't have to go to emergency is great BUT it's not working here.
