I take my son to get his haircut by Michels all the time he is the best barber and very friendly and reasonable prices!

This barber is absolutely amazing. Noone in Canada has been able to cut my hair properly since I arrived 7 years ago. I've got curly hair and the hair barbers in Canada have always done a bad job styling it. West van barber shop was able to give me exactly what I wanted and charged a fair price for fantastic service. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for the excellent service and for helping me look my best!

I recently had the misfortune of visiting a barber shop that left me utterly dissatisfied and appalled by the unprofessional behavior of the barber. My experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and I strongly advise anyone considering this establishment to steer clear.
From the moment I walked in, I was met with an unwelcoming atmosphere. The barber, whose name I won't even dignify by mentioning, seemed disinterested and lacked any semblance of customer service skills.
To make matters worse, the barber's behavior was shockingly rude and disrespectful. He made snide remarks about my appearance and seemed to take pleasure in belittling me. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and demeaning experience that left me questioning why I had even chosen this establishment in the first place.
Furthermore, the overall cleanliness of the barber shop was severely lacking. The tools and equipment appeared dirty and unkempt, which only added to my growing sense of unease. It was clear that hygiene was not a priority for this establishment, and I couldn't help but feel disgusted by the lack of professionalism.
In conclusion, my visit to this barber shop was an absolute disaster. The barber's bad behavior, lack of skill, and disrespectful attitude made for an incredibly unpleasant experience. I strongly advise anyone seeking a quality haircut and a respectful environment to avoid this establishment at all costs.

Charged me $35 for 15 mins haircut. It wasn’t even what I requested. Avoid this place if you can.

"I recently went to this Salon for a haircut and I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. The owner did not listen to my requests and ended up giving me a completely different haircut than what I asked for. The cut was uneven and looked like it had been done by an amateur. I left the salon feeling upset and embarrassed with my new haircut. I would not recommend this salon or stylist to anyone. The lack of attention to detail and disregard for the customer's requests was very disappointing. "

Hands down worst haircut i’ve ever gotten. Avoided this place from the poor reviews i got from people I know but was in a rush and everywhere else was booked so I took the chance. Safe to say I should’ve let it grow another month because it is still noticeable horrible. The second I sat down I worried this woman didn’t know what she was doing and oh man it was bad. 2 weeks later and it still looks just as bad and I truly mean it when I say any of my of family members with no haircutting experience could’ve done better
