I really feel this is a perfect home. I like the style, the big windows with lots of natural light and sunshine both in the morning and in the afternoon. The high ceilings, the patio, the balcony, and everything else are the highlights of the the place. This is an ideal home for families or anybody looking to live in a peaceful environnement

Be aware that you will have a long list of deficiencies when you move in. Then after a long wait when the deficiencies are taken care off you will need the "repairs" to be repaired again. I am not impressed with their extremely unskilled deficiency crew. None of them seemed to have any knowledge of what they were trying to do. In case someone from Westbow is reading this. You have "fixed" my leaking toilet that was not installed properly. Now it leaks worse than before you send your incompetent customer service workers.

I wish I could put a 0 star to review. Where do we begin? We are still waiting for our 30 day deficiency list to be completed. We moved in November of 2020. We haven’t been able to use our vacuum, microwave or fireplace since we moved in. I’ve been told many times that “it’s to code” and nothing can be done. We had a significant flood from our main floor bathroom that ended up leaking through the light fixture on the floor below. When they “came to inspect” it was a couple people just looking at the ceiling and going “ok it doesn’t look to be leaking anymore. ” No inspection of the ceiling or looking into the ceiling for water damage. We have missing caps on our railings in the backyard. We have multiple windows in our home that need to be replaced. Probably the worst one of all was our exhaust for the furnace wasn’t glued. I could literally take the pipes apart with my hands. In short, do not purchase a Westbow home. Nothing but a nightmare for our first home. Another service was not provided that we were unaware of. In classic Westbow form, they could care less.

We bought in the Cedarbrook development a year and a half ago. Love the house and neighbourhood! Tom and the rest of the crew have been great dealing with our deficiencies. They are professional, responsive, friendly and very good at what they do. The trades have been great as well. They've been respectful, helpful and have never left a mess behind. A special shout out to Brandon from Steelhead Electrical who helped us out and was very patient with my questions. He'll be our go-to for electrical stuff from now on!

Andrew and Tom from the Westbow Customer Care are fantastic. They were professional, kind and so talented at what they do. Great experience.

Just a quick shout-out to Justin Carlton, Westbow's Superintendent, for taking the time to thoroughly discuss my quality of satisfaction with our new home in Cedarbrook.

We are currently renting and looking to buy here in the near future. Our experience, so far, has been a quality one. Our flat is brand new and the minor issues we've had are typical of any new home. When we asked for assistance, we had professional help provided to us in a timely manner. No issue was serious enough to warrant urgent attention; such as, we had a minor leak under our kitchen sink, which was resolved by retightening the plumbing drain, and an electrician swapped out a sensitive breaker for a better quality one.

Justin was courteous, approachable, and highly knowledgeable regarding the engineering and construction that Westbow is known for, and he took the time to answer all my questions. Justin asked if I was bothered by the construction, to which I replied, "The double paned windows keep the noise and dust out almost completely, and our air conditioning works perfectly. " -

We love seeing the progress of our new development, knowing that soon we'll be walking for groceries - and to the pub - through gorgeous landscaped gardens under the pretty lanterns that light the pathways.

We hope to buy our next home here in Cedarbrook soon.

We own a Townhouse from Westbow since 2021 and we are so happy with the house. We have few issues once in a while, but Tom Scott is always ready to hear us. He comes over so quickly to see the issue and address it right away. He is an amazing person, very professional, caring and very helpful. Westbow should learn to train all their team to the level of Tom.

Thanks Westbow for building such great houses and I can't feel more thankful to their staff like Tom and Justin. They're really so professional and they're always available to listen if there's an issue. I really appreciate knowing them.

My husband and I bought a Westbow home in July 2021. Recently we had a leaking issue from the bathroom to the kitchen ceiling. After 30m Tom Scott was at our door to inspect the issue, and since then he's taking care of it. He came out himself some times to check. Tom is amazing, very helpful, caring and attentive. We're grateful with his work, communication and how he's supporting in getting this resolved.

We recently purchased a home at Cascades by Westbow. We were blown away by the elegance of the design, and the professionalism from all the staff we encountered. Grant from customer care went well above and beyond and left us feeling very happy with our purchase. We would definitely recommend buying from Westbow. They exceeded our expectations. Thanks again!

2 years later- and several deficiencies not resolved. I wish I could say we are still satisfied with our purchase, but sadly we are not. The customer care manager M G has been truly horrible to work with and we are very disappointed with how things have been handled. Damage to our property as a result of negligence, resulting in a hole in our deck that took 18 months to repair. When simply asking for things to be returned to as they we’re pre incident, we are not left with that result. Very disappointed, and horrified. Seemed amazing in the beginning, that was VERY short lived.

Our place is only two years old and honestly it has been an absolute nightmare. We are the second owners as of July 2021. We have been emailing Westbow Care since October 2021 about several issues with our house including terrible windows and sliding doors that were improperly installed so there is a draft on all three floors. During the winter our Hydro and Fortis bills have been almost double the price of our last place that was 200 square feet bigger. We had Norm from Westbow come in to inspect the house and cover the tech cable (which was a huge concern, dangerous and should have been covered when the house was built. If anyone hit the tech cable in the garage they could die). Norm was surprised about the tech cable and agreed the windows should be covered under warrany.but months later we hear nothing back from Westbow until we follow up and find out Norm no longer works there. We have emailed several times to get everything covered under warranty and it seems like Westbow keeps stalling to come fix our issues until the rest of the complex is built and these issues are no longer covered under warranty. I have been trying to be patient but today we had a huge leak between our den and kitchen caused by a faulty elbow. As of right now, I highly recommend NOT purchasing a house built by Westbow.

I purchased a new home in Cascade Falls from Westbow in February of 2021. I’d never purchased a home and had no idea what to expect on a new build. From the moment I met Craig, the representative who did our walk through, I knew we were in good hands. He enthusiastically helped me find minor deficiencies (that I may not have have spotted) and assured me that if anything came up, he’d be available ASAP. He’s delivered on that promise and has made the process seamless. I’ve dealt with two other Westbow reps now (David and Nick, I think) and they were great too.

Buying was a crazy process and I didn’t know what to expect at move in, but the guys at the field level within Westbow have been top notch.

I highly recommend Westbow.

Bought home in the ELk creek area. Poor craftsmanship, poor quality. Roof installed incorrectly from the beginning like many many of our neighbours. In general homes look beautiful from the outside but a far from beautifully made. Would never recommend a westbow build to anyone. Westbow give your head a shake, if you pay your contractors better you would get better contractors and not just the cheapest bid.
Response to “the owner” because I cannot counter your response.the roof was properly installed from day one. NOT my problem and I did not submit a claim at all to home warranty. A roof should last at least 15 years. Westbow is great at deflecting problems on to someone else.

What a positive experience! Everyone has been so friendly and helpful with everything and the house we bought was on time and lovely. Top quality construction, interior fixtures and perfect for any family. The staff have all been so nice to us whenever we have interacted with them and we can see them working so hard all day and on weekends just to hit the dates promised to the buyers. I highly recommend buying from Westbow!
