Amanda was absolutely amazing! I called right before closing hours, but that didn’t stop her from making sure I was 100% taken care of! I am grateful for her being on the other end of the phone last night. With out her patience, kindness to hear my story and brilliant knowledge, I would have been left with a tow and impound fee all because my insurance had expired, and I changed address. Amanda deserves more than a Five Star rating ️

Firstly, I was able to insure a vehicle from Alberta to BC over the phone but when I got to BC I couldn't register or insure the vehicle because the serial number on the Bill of Sale was not the same as the vehicle and Alberta vehicle registry and Westland Insurance missed this important aspect! On labour Day the mistake was caught and I couldn't do anything to insure or registere the vehicle.
When I got the correct paperwork I went to Westland Insurance by my place and there was a signature missing on the new paperwork and I couldn't get insurance or registration even though I had the first bill of sale.
I finally went to Sussex Insurance with all my paperwork and got the vehicle registered and insured in about 15 minutes!
This was some serious incompetentcy and by reading other reviews I m not the only one!

Renewing my auto insurance over the phone couldn't have been easier! Tricia was very nice to deal with and made the transaction effortless from start to finish.

The lack of Empathy and Privacy by the female employee working May 30th at 3pm was completely unacceptable. Both my parents passed away recently and I have been In the process of transferring ownership of their vehicles. This agent, when the representative helping me had trouble with some of the estate transfer, proclaimed in a loud voice in front of other customers, “Ha ha, Manitoba’s death certificate looks like a diploma! She needs her Mothers too” While also swearing about her day and making fun of her co-worker. She then proceeds to tell the customers she is dealing with the estate transfers are a huge pain, laughing about my personal situation. I have been with this company for over 8 years and have never felt so disrespected and humiliated. I insure 5 vehicles with this company and expect much better.

Hannah was super knowledgeable and helpful, have avoided this location due to past experiences, but was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back to see Hannah

Tricia MacLean was very helpful and friendly whilst helping me make adjustments to my auto insurance this morning. Employees like her are why I stick with Westland insurance!

Rep was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole process of insuring my utility trailer easy.

I bought a new car and needed to sign the transfer papers and get some insurance. Lady was super unhelpful and since it was a Friday, I got the vibe she just wanted to get me out of there so she could start her weekend. Definitely would reccoment Capri over Westland anyway. Am switching to them today.

Avoid this company, better business found elsewhere! Spent a few days working with them on a quote, had a couple follow up questions.no response. After waiting 7 days for a response I e-mailed twice.no response.called in to figure out what's going on.no response.still waiting. Why would I trust my properties to a company that can't even give me a response? A waste of everyones time really.

The staff are very polite, and they put enough time to renew my insurance and answer my questions. I definitely recommend them!

Came in yesterday evening with my dad to insure our new motorcycles, the ladies who were there were very friendly and super helpful.

Amazing service answered all my questions was even going to print off some forms I needed from my phone but they were closing and I had to download it from the cloud which was 11.2 G, but thank you anyways Kirstie Hack!

Manager is difficult to deal with. Does not know standard procedures. Had to get ICBC agent to follow up with her to get her to do the right thing. Frustrating and time consuming. Would not recommend.

Went to this location for the first time to do vehicle registration, transfers etc. Alex was very polite, professional and informative. She took the time to explain everything which I really appreciated. Did i mention how warm and inviting this branch was? My first time but will not be my last.

Absolutely horrible service! The people that work at this location are incompetent.

I needed to cancel my insurance and was told that without my paperwork ICBC was going to charge me $18. So after waiting for over an hour (I was the only person in the store - apparently people who call in take priority?) I decided to pay the $18 to save myself the wait time and another trip.

After I payed they informed me that I require my plates to cancel. Which forced me to return to my house and pick up my plates and paperwork - which I just paid $18 for to reprint (2 sheets of paper).

When I came back I waited another 30 minutes before being helped and they completely forgot my whole situation and had to restart the process. I insisted they reimburse me my $18 and they refused.

I will never bring my business to this company and will tell everyone of my horrible experience.
