Had a great experience working with one of their agents Srikanth. He was very knowledgeable, walked me clearly through my insurance options and even suggested a couple of options I had not heard about yet. He understood my situation and my needs and made a using Westland Insurance a very comfortable and easy experience

In person interactions have been good however it's impossible to reach anyone via phone or email. I've called several times on different days and have been unable to speak with anyone. Their website is only good for straightforward functions, but if you have questions or need help, good luck trying to speak with a rep.

Shockingly bad service, two new employees were left to work on their own with no support. Took over two hours to register and insure one car. If this is how they train their employees you should avoid.

Srikanth was the insurance broker who helped me out on multiple occasions. He really cares for the wellbeing of the customer and works very hard to get the most cost effective and optimal insurance plan that best fits your situation.

Srikanth was extremely helpful, super knowledgeable and provided great customer service! Would definitely recommend!

I was an existing customer and need to make a change to my title. They turned me away, with the explication that they were to busy with emails.

I came in to get my car insured this past weekend and Naveen was our insurance advisor. It was a bit of a complicated situation with an out-of-province vehicle that took some time, but Naveen was so kind and helpful, and I really appreciated him being so patient and ensuring that everything was set up correctly. I've always had great experiences here, and it wasn't too busy either which is a plus!

Thought this Westland insurance West 8th location is open on Sundays so I come by to renew my condo insurance.
There were only two people working in the office and the set up was a bit confusing and there were three customers in the office, so I wasn’t sure if I can get in. Waited till the one customer left the greeter counter, I then walk in and the young guy didn’t say hi or anything but said “I’m actually doing a transaction now, so maybe you can wait for this one. ” (Use his pen on his hand, pointed at the lady on his left who was helping another customer.) Then I said “should I wait outside then? ” He then nod his head. So I walked out and left.
Nothing really happened in that two mins to be honest. But it’s just another “I rather go elsewhere” first impression of bad customer service interaction. The interaction gave me the feeling of ‘I do not trust these two individuals’ for even just a simple condo insurance renewal….
I should have just do the renewal by email at the first place!

My last personal interaction at this location before covid was very pleasant and great, so not sure what had changed…

I needed to come to register and insure my car from Alberta, and even though it was a complicated case that spanned quite a few visits, Devinder was able to help me out and work through every problem! He was always professional and made sure I was advocated for throughout the entire process

Amanda was really helpful when we had a few hiccups trying to complete a vehicle transfer. Thank you so much for walking through everything with us. We really appreciated the effort.

Very good service.they helped get my US Vehicle registered and get insurance.

I don't usually write reviews but this one is super necessary.

I had a really complicated auto insurance situation involving an imported vehicle and multiple ownership and insurance transfers. It was so bad that the first autoplan brokerage I went to straight up refused to do it (citing a lack of time).

Enter Stephanie from Westland Insurance. Stephanie took everything I threw at her and handled it all with ease. Never have I dealt with an insurance broker as professional and diligent as her. She even had time for polite small talk while she was in the trenches with the documentation.

I simply couldn't be happier with how swiftly Stephanie got it all done.

Will definitely come back here in the future specifically because of my overwhelmingly positive experience with Stephanie.

Walked in 30 minutes before Friday closing with a complicated import situation. Charm and Mateo were extremely helpful and good humoured working through the process and dealing with multiple technical issues on the ICBC side. Will return for any future auto insurance needs!

Had Grace phone me to redo my insurance and was definitely happy with the experience I had with her compared to other Westland locations. Grace was super friendly and informative, answered all my questions and didn't have any issues doing so either. I would def recommend everyone to ask for Grace for her exceptional customer service & knowledge!

After wasting almost an hour at London Drugs with a rude agent trying to renew my car insurance and add a driver to another vehicle, I gave up and went to Westland. I was served by Grace who was the model of efficiency and professionalism. I deal with 3 or 4 insurance agencies every day in my work, and have never had better service than I received from Grace. She was very pleasant and fast. She actually ran every time she needed to grab something from the printer. I was most impressed.

Grace Ng was excellent. Very responsive and tailored a home insurance policy for our new property purchase.

We have been dealing with Grace Ng to arrange our Earthquake deductible buy down policy. I found it a little difficult to understand the connection between the Earthquake buy down policy and our main policy. We exchanged emails back and forth in which I had several questions. Throughout, Grace has been very responsive to my questions and has explained everything in a very clear and concise manner. Grace is the reason we are now remaining with this brokerage office. Thank you Grace!

I've had to obtain car rental insurance a number of times in the past 6 months or so, and Grace Ng has been absolutely fantastic in helping me each time. Very responsive, and always wonderful to deal with - such a pleasure each time:)

Been renewing my car insurance for 2 years here. Grace, who helped me this year, was really helpful and informative and wonderfully patient with all my questions, and believe me, I asked a lot of them.

Upon returning another day due to the line being too long I was told it would be an hour wait out on the street for a simple car renewal. So I had no choice but to wait. In this time of covid you'd think they'd use technology to allow you to renew without coming in. I've heard of this new invention call the telephone.not expecting anything crazy like the internet.

Awful experience on the phone with a representitive. If I could give 0 star I would. Rude, brash, unhelpful and clearly just wanted me gone. Will find another option

Despite being fairly busy, they assisted us quickly and professionally. I was buying a motorcycle nearby and despite this not being my usual insurance place, they were great.

I came here to get my ICBC insurance renewed, and I can understand why this place has so many other great reviews. Sobia and Mary were very helpful, caring and patient with me as it was my first time renewing my insurance and I had many questions. They also explained to me what my options were with my best interests at heart, and helped me save money as well. I would definitely recommend this place as I know I will be coming back for sure!
