I've been a happy Westland customer for several years and, as is typical of me, I had a few questions for Westland before renewing my Renters Insurance Policy. When I called the Westland office I had the good fortune to be connected with Elle ten Holder who was knowledgeable, responsive (a couple of my questions required follow-up), and friendly while still being highly professional. As a result I renewed my policy without hesitation.

Elle was simply outstanding. I learned so much from her. She was patient and made me understand my policies. She is a great asset to Westland. She is a keeper.

I went into Westland Insurance in Squamish BC with a rather unusual request. Arias David welcomed me in and sat patiently while I explained that I was interested in a Collector Multi Plate Insurance plate for my motorcycles. Arias explained to me that I needed to apply to ICBC and then did this for me. After a few days she informed me that my application has been granted and we set up a time to review it. Later that week I went in to see her and she explained the options and also consulted with ICBC on the phone to ensure my questions were correctly addressed. In the end I decided to stay with the individual plates I had. Arissa was so nice during the whole process showing great patience with me as I ask a lot of questions. She ensured that I got the best value for my money and at no time did she try to press me into making a decision I was unsure about. Bottom line here is, great service, a credit to her employer, a happy customer and most importantly a returning customer for all my insurance needs in the future. Thank you Arissa. With my regards. I had a perfect experience at the Squamish location. Arissa, the agent I worked with, was exceptional. She was fully engaged with me during the entire process, and was efficient and effective at negotiating the obstacles of my particular policy. Within 30 minutes, I was looking at the former obstacles in the rearview mirror of my new car, paying far less than I was expecting. As my vehicle insurance was up for renewal, I received a phone call reminder and was asked if I wanted to connect with an insurance advisor to renew over the phone. This process was so easy and Teri who was the insurance advisor was very friendly, knowledgeable and made the process easy. I still felt like I was an important client and loved not having to wait in line or feel rushed to get through.
Love the efficiency of the process!

Arissa is AMAZING to deal with! We were a bit unsure what we needed but she helped us through the process and got us the best deal possible. If I owned the brokerage I would give her a huge raise. Also, Bonus points because she laughed at my jokes even though they are not funny.

It was one horrible experience. Asked for a quote and was given and application form and basically to go. If this is the experience we get when bringing in business wonder what the experience would be if you have claim. Definitely not going back

Westland staff are unclear about insurance requirements for company vehicles. After 5 weekly trips to Westland, my company spent close to $200 in fees and added charges to resolve Westland misinformation and gaps in understanding ICBC's system. I won't be back to Westland Insurance in Squamish for personal or business mattres.

Terrible experience with this broker. I called this morning to get information on how to renew my insurance and was told to come in as usual. When I arrived the women yelled at my partner to get out of the store and call. They then continued to be rude when I called back to ask for information. Do not use this insurance place. Recommend literally any other insurance place in town!

Very pleasant atmosphere. Agents are awesome. Not crazy busy with confused people standing in all different lines for different reasons. Like some places.

Tara went out of her way to provide the best rate for my circumstances. I’ve renewed autoplans dozens of times but this was the first time I felt like I was getting value rather than ticking some boxes and driving off for another year.

Hit or miss. A couple staff here have a real negative attitude. No one is forcing you to sell insurance. Maybe Insurance sales wasn't your dream job in high school.go chase your dreams.

I highly recommend agent Bachint with the Squamish Westland Insurance office. He went above and beyond for me with a complicated vehicle insurance renewal. Bachint called me daily with updates on how the renewal was progressing, and found solutions to every hurtle so that my insurance was renewed in time, with as little inconvenience as possible. And he made sure the issue was permanently fixed so that my future renewals will be seamless. Thank you Bachint!

I have used Westland Insurance for many, many years and for the most part am satisfied overall. When I had the unfortunate experience last year of having to file a claim, I dealt with Andrea Symons, Senior Road Adjuster out of their Squamish office. Andrea was professional, extremely helpful and processed my claim very quickly. I was more than pleased with the service she provided in my time of need.
