This is for the ICBC kiosk, not Westland. The ICBC representative has failed at their job. It is not ICBC's purview to hold determinations of immigration paperwork issued by the IRCC/CIC. If a piece of paper has a permanent resident UCI bar code, plus an IRCC bar code and it's issued by the CIC on official letterhead - that's valid. There is no need to call supervisors, who are also not immigration officers, to hold a coffee clatch and decide on your own what is valid and what is not - never mind putting something (a person's life) "on hold. " You're there to make copies of papers, take pictures, and issue plastic cards - a person's immigration status has already been determined by the government of Canada to be a Permanent Resident if they are standing there with the official 'flagpole paper' in their hand. It says a lot the person who 'handled' this paperwork to the ICBC rabbit hole can't even find out what hold she put on it. Long story short: go to Westland for good insurance service; avoid the ICBC kiosk like the plague.

My husband and I, new to BC and Sechelt and the Sunshine Coast were building a house in Secret Cove and were last year in dire need of “a builders risk “. Insurance.
Not only did the manager of the Sechelt office, Reginald Bennet, speedily find one matching our needs, he, later on, went above and beyond, when it was time to find a home owner insurance for us, once the house was finished in summer.

Through researching various insurances he, again within a short time frame, found a most satisfactory one, with regards to what is included, as well regarding its yearly premium.

We couldn’t have asked for better service, thank you, Reg!

Great service! Case spent over an hour with me explaining all my insurance options and the pros and cons of each. Customer service is an endangered species, but not with Cass and Westland Sechelt.

Cass Kilroy was tremendously friendly and helpful. He made changing provinces easy and understandable. He went above and beyond by helping me change my plates. My car was not set up for a front plate and he managed to mount one temporarily by using zipties. I would have been lost without his extra efforts.

she was very courteous with this elderly gentleman. In my opinion she is an excellent and kind employee looking out for my best interest. In my 16 years of visiting this branch in Sechelt. I have always been treated well by all the excellent staff at this particular branch in Sechelt. Job well done and thank you from all the older folks like me, for watching out for us.

I needed travel insurance and was assisted by Avneet in the Sechelt Office. She has a lovely friendly manner and handled my insurance requirements efficiently and promptly. A great experience all round.

We recently were in Westland to register and insure one of our many vehicles. Janice helped us, she was super friendly, helpful and quick. She updated us on policy changes, provided info to take home and even saved us money by making sure we had the right insurance for our work vehicle. Janice was great and really enjoyed meeting her. Went in to renew my car insurance and was greeted almost immediately by Saige Rae. She was extremely kind, friendly and efficient. I was in and out in less than 20 mins. The office seemed well run and there were several agents ready to help clients. Have been dealing with this location for 7 years and have always received top notch service. Well done!

I renewed my insurance and was very impressed with a young lady named Priyanka. I had taken a picture on my smart phone of my mileage but due to the suns glare on the camera when I took the pictures it was unreadable. No problem for Priyanka! She happily marched out with me to the far end of the parking lot to get a new reading. Also, when I explained to her I was super hard of hearing she had no problem speaking very loudly and had unlimited patience. She was very knowledgeable and made sure I fully understood everything. A very happy and rewarding experience which I highly recommend.

I was helped via phone call by Monica Davis from the Sechelt branch in BC on October 17th and she was absolutely fantastic! She was kind, had a great sense of humor, and answered all my questions! I was looking to upgrade my car insurance and she was able to get it done promptly with no issues. I would highly recommend her to anyone for support with their insurance needs!

Priyanka was very helpful and helped me save about $30 a month off my payment plan for my vehicle by suggesting a new program to me. I will definitely go to her again to see what else new and exciting she has to offer.

Had a very stressful issue to do deal with.
Was a lot of jumping through hoops and call after call.

But one of the representatives there named Cass really just took away all the stress and made it so much easier on my end.
