My wife and I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a 2024 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid from Westminster Toyota and we must say, it was an experience worth sharing.

From the moment we walked into the dealership, we were greeted with professionalism and a genuine willingness to help. We dealt with the sales team; Michael & Gary, and they were extremely helpful.

Gary knowledge about the Toyota Rav4 and his patience in answering all our questions made the car buying process smooth and enjoyable. He took the time to explain all the features of the car and even set up the Toyota app before we drove off the lot.

By 7pm we had filled out all financial approved credit form, and had secured the Tacoma with Running boards installed in the morning before pick up. Ryan, facilitated the deal in a very professional way, and was completely up front and honest as far as getting the deal done. I experienced a highly disappointing encounter with Westminster Toyota on Saturday, May 6,2023.
A few weeks prior, I had wanted to transfer and purchase my 2019 Toyota RAV4 from a lease to ownership. Initially, I leased the car from Jim Pattison Toyota in Surrey, where I've consistently enjoyed excellent customer service since 2007. Living just a five-minute drive from Westminster Toyota, I decided to try their dealership for the transfer, hoping to become a new customer.
Unexpectedly, Westminster Toyota quoted a transfer fee $500 higher than the fees provided by two other Toyota dealerships I had contacted. As a result, I returned to the dependable Jim Pattison Toyota in Surrey to save the $500.
Today, I made the error of revisiting Westminster Toyota to buy an authentic Toyota cargo liner. After making the purchase, I proceeded to pick up the liner. During installation, I removed the cargo cover, placing it next to the car. Sadly, I forgot to put it back and left it on the ground near the entrance door. Five minutes later, I recognized my mistake and hurried back to the dealership, only to discover the cargo cover was gone.
Believing someone had found and returned it (as it was a quiet early morning with few customers), I asked the receptionist, who informed me that no one had brought it back. I then sought assistance from Steven, an employee. After inquiring, he found out the cover had been stolen. At no point was I directed to management or security (I later learned they lack a security service). When I asked for access to security camera footage, I was told they couldn't provide it. Upon requesting to speak with the general manager, I was told he was too busy but would call me on Monday to discuss the issue.
Feeling frustrated, I left Westminster Toyota and contacted the New Westminster Police Department. I filed a police report (File # NW23-7083) and was informed that once the manager supplied the security footage on Monday, a police officer would be sent to investigate. I called Westminster Toyota to inform them of my intention to return on Monday and provided them with the police report file number. Within 30 seconds after hanging up, I was contacted and told that the general manager had located the item. It turned out that the general manager himself was the culprit. Despite all the inquiries and being told the item was stolen and nobody at Westminster Toyota knew anything about it, it took only 30 seconds after mentioning the police investigation for the item to be "found. " The cargo cover, valued at $340, left me both shocked and embarrassed when confronting the manager, who provided no explanation for the seemingly stolen item worth $340.
I have always loved Toyota, and my appreciation for Jim Pattison Toyota has only increased. However, Westminster Toyota is tarnishing Toyota's outstanding reputation.

Even though I didn’t purchase my car from this dealership, I chose this dealership first for its convenient location at first, but now it is for their service. I have been been going to this locations for almost 2 years now and find the staff very friendly. I have only had one situation where my car left me stranded, they diagnosed it, and had my car fixed and back to me very quickly, and it was fixed under re-call bulletin which was a bonus. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who asks where I go. I had tried a few other Toyota dealerships prior and found this one to be the most accommodating, friendly and comfortable for when I have to wait at the dealership for something to be done.

Lucy was absolutely amazing. I traveled from Vancouver Island to see a car and Lucy took care of me. I ended up going for a test drive and purchasing the car that day. She is a genuine person who helped me through the process and answered all my questions easily.

Great experience it was. Got my 4Runner Limited 2022 last week. Promised and delivered by Kartik Sharma, their Sales Manager, well before the committed date. Lance was a great help and one of the few car sales people I’ve come across who actually know in and out about what they are selling. His detailed knowledge makes him stand out and above and I would recommend to go see Lance at the Westminster Toyota if you want to get a Toyota or are confused which one is better for you. If you are looking for a Toyota Lucy at Westminster Toyota is phenomenon, very friendly, honest, stress free sale person I've ever encounter.
She really take her time and look into what you need and keep you posted with car transit update, keep you inform about all things all the steps.
From start to finish I've hassled her with tons of problems but she always replies me kindly and quickly. Highly recommend Lucy if you are shopping for a Toyota at this place.

Nice friendly people. Our salesman was fantastic. Although the finance department doesn't know what they're doing. Spent over 3 hours waiting for approval and the guy couldn't get us what we wanted. Next day went to a different dealership and got the same car for exactly the payment we wanted. Don't finance thru this dealership. They will not try and get you the best rate. Go somewhere else.

Lance was very accommodating with and he was knowledgeable about the 2021 highlander I bought.
Desmond from the finance department was patient and answered All my questions and made it a smooth financial transaction.
The only problem I had is not with the dealership but with the lack of Toyota factory quality control as my highlander rear power gate was not closing properly on the passenger side.

This dealership is not a right place to buy a pre-owned car. Sales agents are shameless untrustworthy ones, would do anything to sell out.

I was asked today morning on my request to have a look at chevy cruze and also bring all the papers ready for finance, thus get approved on same day.when we arrived car was already been booked by another customer yesterday. On arrival, the agent started showing other cars which we had no interest. They have no respect for customer time and money and would lie anything to get a customer to dealership and sell off.

Went in to check out a car, walked out as a family member.
We were looking forward to buy a Toyota Corolla Hybrid, we saw an advertisement for a Prius Prime and decided to go check. We met Lucy there, she was extremely helpful while being friendly, she walked us through various options, she answered all our questions patiently. In the whole process there was an issue while dealing with another department, Lucy stepped in and took the ownership and resolved the issue right away.
We would highly recommend to go talk to her if you are planning to buy a Toyota.

I'm very disappointed to have to write this, after finding what I thought was a great used car from this dealership. After having the car for a very short amount of time, it broke down on us. We understand things can break unexpectedly, but the service and care we were provided with from the dealership was extremely disappointing. The feeling I got was this dealership really only cares about making money, not providing quality service to their customers to make them repeat clients. Be careful about your plan to purchase at this dealership.

Munir is awesome. He helps me carry stuff from inside the store to my car. One day I was short a dollar and he paid from his pocket. I tried to pay him back when we got to my car but he didn't accept it. Overall super nice guy.

Smooth process purchasing a new car here with Lance! He was super helpful through a whole thing and was just an absolute wealth of knowledge.

I had a terrible experience with this place. I leased a Toyota camey se in 2018 and at that time they game a package for vehicle services. They told me this package includes first 6 services and I paid 1100 dollars for this package. Recently I got my sixth service but I had to pay 212 dollars for it. Toyota denied me sixth service saying my contract expired. So basically I ended up paying twice for sixth service. I will never recommend this dealler to anyone.

My sales rep, Lance was fantastic. Very patient, and made sure I got in and out as quickly as possible, as I was working at the time.

In every business typically sales associates run after you to get your business. Here, you have to run after them to be able to give your money. What's worse, they ghost you for weeks and months while you are sitting with $60K cash waiting for them to respond to you.

5 months ago I made a mistake by trusting this branch and thinking that Cliff could get me an upcoming RAV4 phev. I knew that it is a popular car and that it could be hard to get in the line, I was OK to be waiting for several months or potentially a year or so. What I wasn't OK with, however, is to be completely ignored.

I paid a deposit and started waiting. Cliff promised to send me details after the payment, he didn't. I followed up, he said that soon he was going to, again, he didn't. I called him, he said that that day he's not working and that he would get back to me ASAP. He didn't. I texted him, he didn't reply. I called again, he said that he'd call me in 10 mins. Guess what? Yes, he didn't. I went all the way to Queensborough to find out, he said he was busy, but he promised on everything that he would get back to me by Wednesday. No, he didn't. I gave up and asked for my money back. Even that took me two weeks to get my money back. I found myself in a hassle for no reason. I was completely OK to wait for further months IF I just knew basic things, like what's my line number? How many people are waiting in front of me, etc. Instead, it felt like someone was holding onto my money without anything is happening in terms of progress for me.

On the sales associate level Cliff was quite disorganized and unreliable. I am sorry Cliff, but you wasted my time the whole summer! On the dealer level, it is still unreliable because things don't seem to happen in an order and harmony. I don't think that I will be coming back or recommending this place to my friends.

I've been looking for a vehicle and cannot really decide specifically. Hannah was the first Toyota rep that really listened to what I want and was looking for - I probably spoke to 2 Lexus agents and 3 other Toyota reps and Hannah had the patience to listen to me. Even with the sales transaction and something does not make sense to me, she's still there communicating with me on my concerns.

I recommend her because I think she tries her best in what she does and I'm really happy that she got me a 4Runner Venture (I really like the pictures below)

Just want to say that Westminster Toyota made buying my Tacoma a great experience. Lucy made sure all my concerns taken care of. Last night we came in to this dealership just to look around, no expectation of getting one. So we’re outside the dealer just window car shopping and then came one Sales clerk. At first in my head saying, “ Shooh, go away. ” I didn’t wanna hear any Sales talk, I just wanted to look around and not be bothered. But this Sales clerk named LUCY was very welcoming. She came out to offer her assistance then next thing you we’re inside asking for LUCY’s assistance. Asked forsome information, and she would give us her honest opinion. To make it short, that same night we came, we saw, we unexpectedly got a new car. Along the process of all the documentation LUCY was very accommodating to my family especially. One of the best experiences I have had buying a new vehicle at a dealership. Aman in sales was friendly, knowledgeable and provided a no pressure approach. All of the numbers he provided were easy to understand in transparent. There were no hidden fees they tried to sneak in like other dealerships such as documentation or bogus security stickers. They also provided fair market value for my trade in. The entire process from start to finish was pleasant and stress free. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to purchasing again from New westminster toyota in the future.
