Westview Centre Motel

From outside motel very deceiving. Inside of rooms has been updated and very clean. Owner/ Manager does her best to ensure all is fine with your accommodation. Friendly place, location perfect and within walking distance to restaurants / pubs, hair salons etc.would return! Exceptional that Korean owner is so focused def on building her business! Loyalty counts!

Booked hotel for 1 night last minute. Lady took me right to my room. Turned on the A/C, turned on the t.v. Fridge in room, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, utensils. Little kitchen with everything you needed to cook with.
Bathroom had a nice sink, the shower was not great, leaking behind the wall. The bed was comfortable, nice sheets, duvet. I always bring my own pillow so can't say what theirs were like. I think they had renovated a bit. The floor was beautiful, fake wood but very nice.
Lady at the office was very friendly, and told us about the parking. FREE.

Stayed one of the newly renovated rooms which was very clean and well designed with a modern flare. The rest of the rooms in the entire motel are being renovated at time of writing: Sept 2022.

The owner was so lovely and helpful. She really cares about her property and guests. We had some switching around and additional requests which she quickly and happily accommodated. Thank you!

Comfy beds, good pillows, well stocked, and has kitchenette with mid size fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster etc.

Great place to stay with the family and great people that were very attentive and helpful in our stay in this hotel.

I'm not sure where the photos came from but it's similar to posting a picture of yourself 20yrs younger to a dating site and when you to meet someone, their disappointment is impossible to hide. This Is Not a family destination. This place should not be advertised as a motel because in reality it's low cost housing for those that would otherwise be homeless. I have no judgment what so ever and I applaud anyone that does what they can to help people that are less fortunate. It takes great courage, empathy and kindness to do this.but.you should be a bit more honest about what you provide here. This place could be a trigger for someone struggling to do and be.better.

Really nice rooms, pet friendly, and great service. The people running the motel are lovely people who go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay.

I visited Powell River with my family last week and we all loved staying here. Clean room, great view, friendly staffs, etc. If I have a chance to re-visit Powell River, I’d like to use this place again.

Most of these reviews must be fake. Room wasnt cleaned for days, and when it was finally cleaned, they turned the heat off when its -5 outside! So I get off work to a frozen room. Thanks cheapskates. Took over 4 hours to get it warm again. The beds are disgusting and uncomfortable as well. There was 2 blankets under the sheet hiding god knows what on the mattress. Probably the worst motel I've been to.

Best of best accomodation in Powell river. Friendly staff, best view & location. Must to stay when you go Sunshine Coast.

We really enjoyed our stay in the family room at the motel! It was great having an extra room for our toddler to sleep in and it was a clean place to stay in for the night. We were able to check in early and leave our luggage there while we went for lunch as well as checkout late since it worked better with our schedule. Nice clean motel with accommodating staff and a central location. We would definitely stay again!

Well it does have a nice view but I wouldn't stay here again.a family room less equipped to handle a family and the service lacked customer care. No extra bedding for the extra bed, two coffee cups two regular cups, Three towels and after we cleaned up they are picking a face cloth to charge us an extra 20$ cause it was a little dirty. Never again!

Great value and hospitable staff. Rooms seem to have been updated recently. Excellent location nearby restaurants, shops, the marina and ferry terminal.

This is the place to stay in Powell River if you want a fantastic view. Nice people. We have tried 3 different rooms and all of them are nice, comfy and clean. AC works great. Wifi is speedy. Choose room number 9 to 16 for the perfect view of the ocean.

Clean rooms, great staff and good prices. AC is top notch and they got me into a pet friendly room with less than an hours notice. Super comfy beds.

Absolutely wonderful staff. The manager suggested leaving our bikes and offered us a drive over to the nearby Subway (it was Sunday evg, there was not much open for grabbing a bite to eat). The room was clean and quite large. It contained a stove, fridge and microwave. A bonus for persons staying a few days who want to get away from restaurant food. There are nearby grocery stores. One could see the ocean and Texada island. The motel was very quiet and watching the ferry's come and go created a very calming effect after a long journey. The motel parking lot is steep, therefore challenging for people with mobility issues walking up and down the driveway. Using your vehicle will address this. We had a very enjoyable stay. Recommend when booking to get one of the rooms overlooking the ocean.

Love this place, rooms are so adorable and clean. Wonderful owner, nice view of the ocean. It has a steep hill but the price is right.

Excellent price, amazing sea view (esp.sunset - must see), right at the heart of the seaside town but very quiet and comfy, very friendly lady owner and staffs

Basic, but ferry reasonably priced for 2 bedrooms, kitchen and lounge. Near shops and restaurants.

No hot water in the am. Tank drained from neighbors having shower. No stir sticks for coffee and bed was uncomfortable. No refund offered for no hot water.

Stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it the owners were very helpful when we needed a kettle and 2 spoons highly recommended for Powell river area

I stayed at the 2 bedroom "house". Pretty good place but many things are starting to fall off. The picture included was part of the living room.
