This vet office truly cares about their senior customers. It’s obvious that the manager really cares about her staff, because they all seem to really love being there! The front staff are always so thoughtful. Dr. Valentine is so thorough and knowledgeable, so I feel like our cat is always in good hands. Our senior cat is terrified of leaving the house, but he actually doesn’t mind coming to Westview. Everyone is so gentle and sweet to him, which calms him down so much! Thank you!

Visit this vet if you want sassy customer service and incredibly expensive prices! When we walked in, one of the client service girls didn't even mind looking at us or saying hello. Her name is Farleigh I think. We ended up bringing our frenchie a different vet. This is just too bad!

Super great vet experience from the front staff to the drs themselves. You’ve been amazing with my quirky rescue dog, who has separation anxiety, obsessive paw licking and some leash reactiveness (working on it all with your help!). I’m busy with all the balls in the air and you’re not judgemental at all about me taking it in bite sized pieces. I also love the clinic is women owned. Not as commonplace as it could be - so kudos to you all!

I trust Westview with the care of my 2 canine furbabies.they always go above and beyond to ensure that my babies feel safe and happy when they visit; that's not easy to do because many pets have a fear of the vet.but even my more timid dog has warmed up to them because they take extra time and care with her.they truly show TLC to each and every pet who comes in.

Not very happy with my experience here. 15 minutes combined for two cat exams for $230. Took my babies home and one had a bleeding claw which was missed. I’ll be looking elsewhere where it’s not just a money grab

The team here have such big hearts and care so much about Frankie and every patient here! She just loves coming to Westview!

Have been going here for years. Great care for both dogs and cats, don't try to force treatment options on you, and helped us connect with a service to let our senior dog pass at home during the pandemic lockdown.

We LOVE Westview and can't believe how lucky we are to live within 20 minutes of this clinic! Our fearful dog has such a hard time with car rides and being around people so naturally vet visits are really tough for us. The staff at Westview are so understanding and have gone above and beyond to make sure that our dog's visits are as low stress as possible. Every interaction we've had (whether it's over the phone, at a visit or at reception) has been positive and productive. We have been working with Dr. Jackie Lougheed for a year now and can't imagine going anywhere else.

I am a dog walker and occasionally board dogs in North Vancouver. Today I noticed extreme swelling in and around the eye and jaw of one of my clients dogs who is staying in my care (tooth abscess/infection caused by old laceration). I immediately called Westview (the dogs vet) and they were extremely helpful. The parents at the time were unable to phone the vet as they were both traveling back to Vancouver. Luckily we were able to get an appointment that day and fit her in for an examination. I am ever grateful at how easy the situation was dealt with and that there was no issues with me bringing her in as I am not her registered owner. The staff at Westview is top notch and clearly care immensely about there four legged clients. I would highly recommend their services!

I highly recommend Westview. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were treated very well by each receptionist and the vet. All of the staff were very patient, efficient, explained things well, and were trustworthy. We will definitely be coming back!

We arrived early for our appointment and I had my twin toddlers with me. The ladies at the front supplied my kids with crayons and coloring pages while we waited. Everyone at Westview Vet is super friendly and compassionate. I had to put down our previous family dog in 2014 and they treated us so wonderfully. They didn’t rush us and let us spend as much time in the room before and after. I HIGHLY recommend this veterinarian.

I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart, and Dr. Jackie, all the technicians, assistants and staff (special thanks to Danielle for the hugs when I needed them, & Eva for making the sling for Princess) and all the wonderful staff for all the kindness, caring, compassionate and wonderful treatment of Princess and me, starting at the beginning, during and after Princess surgery. Also thank you for going the extra mile for the phone calls after we were home and e-mails which were so comforting. Princess as well as me, are so grateful, she being free of pain and having another chance at life, and me having her longer to enjoy and love. Thank you Jeff for your expertise, knowledge and for being so thorough in a kind way when explaining the various treatment options. This helped make our decision of choosing amputation so much easier. A special thank you Jeff for choosing Dr. Mark Smith. We would also say a very special thank you to Dr. Mark Smith for saving Princess life by amputating her leg and doing such a beautiful operation. I would highly recommend Dr. Jeff and Westview Hospital and all the wonderful team that surrounds him. You get the feeling how much they love and care for the animals.

If you are looking for a very friendly experience at the vet, this is the place to go. The receptionist says hi to every person and pet as they come and go, and the vets do the same thing. When I was in the waiting area I saw both vets come out to greet clients and their pets, and thought it was really cool that they had so much interest in people and their little creatures.

So happy when Dr. Bowra took over the practice in 2016. He was a big part of our dog JJ living to a ripe old age of 18. He is professional and respectful with questions from our kids and helped us transition with the loss. He's answered a lot of questions about puppies and our new dog is happy to visit the vet. Our family highly recommends Dr. Jeff!

The team at Westview Services have been phenomenal, providing exceptional care to our dog Caillou the past 18+ months, right through to his last day with us a week ago.

Our dog was diagnosed with Cushings Disease a while ago, then developed diabetes and finally congenital heart disease last November. Throughout the whole time, Caillou received exceptional care from Dr Jeff and Dr Jacqui, who both took the time to explain what was going on, worked in partnership with us to determine the best course of treatment, referred us when they felt a different expertise was required, checked-in and responded to emails even when they were off duty and made sure our dog received the best care throughout this experience. The staff at Westview Veterinary Services including Ashley, Rebecca and Shaylene were supportive, accommodating and caring. A very special thank you to Danilelle for her kindness and compassion which helped us get through what was an extremely difficult experience. My family is deeply grateful to each and everyone of you for all that you did for Caillou, and for the care and concern you showed us as his family.

I switched to Westview Vet Services a few years ago, and it was the best decision I ever made. When your dog shows excitement rather than fear when he walks into the vet, you know they are doing something right! Thank you for all that you did for Caillou, and for making him, and us, feel like we were part of your extended family.

I can't get Westview Vets to stop contacting me. I've had to call three times. They email, send cards and phone me. It's ridiculous. When I called again to ask to be removed from any of their communications the person at the front desk was so rude. I can't believe it. She really thinks it's their right to contact me with advertising. Astonishing.
