Westwood per hospital is a great caring place to bring your pet. They have always been kind and loving to our dog.

Um called to make an appointment for my cats bladder infection and was told they don’t take new clients
Don’t even have to go to know these people are all about the money and not the life of animals

Westwood Heights is the best of the best. They are honest, informative, supportive, and I always leave feeling taking care of. I’ve taken my Yorkie here for the past 11 years and they have helped me through it all. Highly recommend!

I grew up taking my family’s dog to Westwood heights. As an adult now, with a dog of my own, I started taking her to Westwood heights too. The staff and vets are patient, extra caring and so helpful. Thank you for taking care of Scotty and Lexi!

The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and Dr. Ochotsky was very sweet with our little Teddy (our 3 month old Pom Yorkie) he never even knew he got his needle! I highly recommend her, and Westwood Heights Pet Hospital

We are very grateful and appreciative of everything dr. Melissa did for our border collie Ace. She is knowledgeable, kind, professional and very responsive. Takes the time to understand the problem and cares about her patients. Very impressed about the professionalism of the staff as well. Highly recommend her for all your pets!

If I could give Westwood Heights 10 stars, I would! The entire team at this clinic is outstanding. My French Bulldog, Ernie, suffers from allergies and often gets ear infections or hot spots that come on rather quickly. On more than one occasion, the team has been able to fit me in, or get me the tools I needed to help him out, even if it's at the end of their day. Vanessa, Miranda, and the rest of the team up front are so patient, helpful, and accommodating. I have also seen both Dr. Melissa and Dr. Dirk who are very knowledgeable, honest, and provide exceptional care. Thank you Westwood Heights!

The best place to have rats neutered. Wonderful clinic & practice, with helpful and friendly staff that are always accommodating. Will work within your schedule and reassure the safety of your little one and their needs throughout the duration of your vet visit.

Dr. Melissa and everyone who works here are angels who deserve the absolute best. They take incredible care of my rats Swiss and Ricotta (RIP), and are always so friendly, professional, empathetic and just go above and beyond like i’m the only client they have. The prices are completely fair and transparent, and I’ve never seen Swiss so calm with a vet. Absolutely incredible bunch of people. Will be coming here with all future pets!

They take such great care of all our animals. All of the staff go above and beyond and Melissa is the best vet we have ever had. She really takes the time to find out what is wrong with the animal

This hospital was absolutely amazing! Not only were they extremely empathetic to my concerns and professional but they also went above and beyond the call of duty. I took my holland lop bunny, Snowflake, after experiencing a fall which was immediately followed by convulsions and the worst sound you could ever hear from your precious bunny, a scream. They brought her in immediately for evaluation and had her spend the night for observation. Everyday following that they allowed me to bring her in to administer her medication because I was having difficulty doing so and by the 5th day Snowflake felt like she was part of the Westwood Hospital family. Thank you so much for such an incredibly wonderful experience during my most difficult time as a pet owner. Snowflake and I will be forever grateful!

Our vet was knowledgeable, clear and concise about the issues that we were having with our pup. He did not try to sell us a procedure he did not require. Our vet took his time to answer all of our questions, we left relieved and with a better understanding of our animals health.

I went to another vet to get some advice on when to spay my puppy but they never gave me anything useful.
The vet from from westwood heights checked my puppy and gave some helpful advice based on my puppy's condition as to when she should be spayed. They are definitely knowledgeable with their animals.

I have had excellent service from Dr. Melissa in treating my pet rats. Although one had to be put to sleep as she had an inoperable fast growing tumor

I love this pet hospital. Absolutely amazing customer service. The ladies at reception are always so sweet and understanding. And the prices they have there are very reasonable compared to a lot of other Veterinarians in bc. Always my go to Vet:)

They are kind and caring. I've been going there for 22 year. I've recently moved to port coquitlam but refused to go anywhere else.

I'm very grateful to the Staff and Dr. Melissa. A friend recommended Dr. Melissa after our previous vet recommended our dog have both back legs undergo very invasive knee surgery ($5000), X-rays ($1000) and lots of pain meds (more $$). Not to mention months of recovery.
Not ONLY did Dr. Melissa correct my dogs knees with only one week of Arthritis medication and a $12 monthly Cartrophen Shots.but she's LOVELY, genuine, honest and spoke to me in terms that I understood. The Staff at Westwood are also very kind and a pleasure to work with! I can't recommend them enough! They truly care about the wellbeing of your pet.

Dr Dyrk (not sure about that spelling) is so sweet and good with animals.he recently took care of my dog after a big racoon attack.very professional and kind.prescribed meds that did the trick for all his scratches and wounds.

Dr. Dayna Chetek has been the best vet we could ever have for our dog - Mickey.

She is compassionate, caring, and examines Mickey very thorough. Mickey is never afraid to go for his check ups.

Within this past week, our dog sadly lost his ability to walk, and I was devastated. Robin, the Veterinary Office Assistant was able to have us see Dr. Dayna Chetek the same day, and Dr. Chetek referred us to a neurologist right away. I called the Westwood Heights Pet Hospital probably 30 times that day to follow up, and the team NEVER seemed frustrated with me. They helped me find the neurologist the same day, and we were able to have our dog seen by a neurologist. Without Dr. Dayna Chetek's referral and Robin's hard work to find us a neurologist, Mickey would not have been seen by a neurologist anytime soon.

Dr. Chetek called us a few days after, just to check in and get an update on Mickey's condition. She answered all my questions very patiently, and explained with as much detail as possible.

Mickey is so lucky to have an amazing team looking after him!
