I learned to knit here last year and has been addicted to knitting ever since! Wet Coast is my yarny home base. My favourite items here are the colourful Holst Garn and Sandnes Garn and Lykke driftwood needles.
I will be teaching beginner knitting classes here starting late June. Check the store website for details!

This shop is nice and bright and the yarns are organized beautifully! The girl working was also super kind and helpful. Left with donegal tweed yarn which they sell in bulk!

This shop is such a treat to visit, which I do frequently, as I’m only a few blocks away. I love that they carry a huge selection of Canadian yarn, dyers, and products.

The staff are wonderfully helpful and very knowledgeable. I came in with a number of questions about a pattern and yarn. They were quick to help me out, recommend solutions, measure my gauge, and compliment the finished project I was wearing. They always let me browse the shop as I need for inspiration, and are excited to chat about what I’m working on. I didn’t feel intimidated or judged even though some of my questions were likely super beginner questions.

Trish and Glenda (I hope I heard your names correctly) were both lovely and I will look at taking lessons from them when in person classes are offered again.

I just love this beautiful wool store in Vancouver B. C. I got a gift card and could hardly wait to go over there. And two days later i went back and bought some more. It is a great welcoming store and extremely friendly staff, especially Kelsey. They have an amazing variety of wools and it totally inspires you. Cant wait for my next visit. Thank you for your kindness when i shopped there.

I ordered some Holst Garn Supersoft to make Sarah Cooke's Ivy, off their website. There was a hugh color selection offered and the shipping was fast. When I go to Vancouver I'll be sure to stop by.

My girlfriend loves the place. There's a fantastic selection of yarn here for any project you can think of. Colors, weights, etc. They've got it all.
The staff are always incredibly helpful giving tips and advice for anything you're trying to do. Real pros in here.
They also offer lots of cool classes for aspiring knitters.
Overall a great little shop.

A superb wool shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who are happy to help, or (my preference) let you browse their lovely selection of wools, and imagine what your next project is, in peace.
They have some very nice Canadian wool brands (Custom Woolen Mills and Briggs and Little) and a good selection of knitting books, Laine magazine, Pom Pom, and many notions: stitch markers, highlighter tape (jolly hard to find!) and even a computer you can use Ravelry to find your next project.

Great shop, beautiful wool, compassionate staff

I happened upon this shop as i was having eye surgery & urgently needed to switch my glasses’ lenses. The optician beside wouldn’t lend me a screwdriver or wanted to charge to do 30 sec job. Decided to look at wool to destress & they dug around & found me a tiny screwdriver. So i bought some hand-dyed wool cuz.service. I’ll be back!

Nice selection of yarns including local (British Columbia). They let me use their wifi so I could get my phone working on the Canadian networks.
