I had a great experience, looking at cars I dealt with a very pleasant and informed guy named I believe Joshua Lambert even though I decided to go with a different vehicle I highly recommend him and would definitely go and see him next time I want to buy a car. You could definitely tell that he has a love of vehicles and it’s not just a job for him. It’s a passion.

Recently walked in for a quick look on the lot. I was greeted by a very friendly salesman Josh. He proceeded to let me see any of the vehicles I wished and even encouraged me to sit inside. He explained features very thoroughly but I never felt pressured at any point in our interaction.

David was our sales rep when we purchased our new Palisade. David was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the product we purchased. Our experience with Wheaton was very smooth and enjoyable. My wife and I would recommend this dealership to our friends and defiantly be returning clients.

If you're ever wondering why manufacturers are switching to a Tesla style order direct from the manufacturer sales structure, look no further than Wheaton Hyundai. Was on a waiting list for a new Ioniq 5 to replace my older Soul EV, and got a call from them saying that they have one coming in that wasn't assigned to a customer. Obviously this was good news and I was excited, so I went down and talked to sales about obtaining it. Car sounded great, and I was prepared to spend the roughly $60k on it. This is where things went down hill. The sales manager (Whom stayed in his office and didn't greet me) insisted that not only I spend $60k on the car, but that I was obligated to spend an additional $8000 on a protection package. What was in the package might you ask? Floor mats, cargo liner, interior protection spray, wheel locks, a second set of wipers for some reason (Are the factory ones not good enough?), and paint protection that wasn't even ceramic (Probably just a chemical treatment). I work in the car industry so I know the value of these items is roughly around $3000, so there was about $5000 in just mark up. I told them I was willing to get floor mats, cargo liner, trailer hitch and wiring harness, but they weren't having it. Needless to say I walked away from the deal. There is no other way to say this, Wheaton Hyundai sales are EV profiteers, plain and simple

If you go to this dealership go to Josh. Josh is very professional and is very passionate about his job. He is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what you would want in a vehicle. He has such a good personality and is very outgoing! Josh is always the one I will want to see when I go there!:) you won’t regret

David nailed it first try with his recommendation - he clearly read through my e-mail carefully and took some time to find an option that was a really good fit.

Also, my dog *really* likes him.

I came in on a Friday and was there a bit late - but going through this whole process and especially handling all the paperwork with Taelor and Lish was way more fun than it's supposed to be. Just a really great group of people all around!

I was charged a lot of money for a car that had multiple problems and I took my car to be fixed only to spend 3 hrs getting nothing fixed and instead have a fulty part installed elsewhere so I had to return again to actually get my car fixed the second time (5hr to be fixed) at first I thought it was a incompetent dealership but I now see they purposely sold me a fulty car and purposely put in a fulty part so they can charge the repairs under manufacturers warranty. Not only this but I was way over charged for a oil change and didn't get the service light reset I also was left multiple parts of the interior layng around in my car almost like a Easter egg hunt for me to find and reinstall (this imcludes very small buttons that are easy to loose,) the Temps were left in fahrenheit. And for all the hassle all I got was $50 shop credit that's not even a hour worth of labour. Lastly the service was so bad when i got home i had tk check my oil to make sure they actually changed it. Take my advice go somewhere else. (Edit as response. Jason was my sales man Scott dealt with me at service and Ken drove me around.)

Josh was a pleasure to work with. He wanted to help me find a car that was perfect for me. A 2023 Tucson Urban. He is a patient, extremely knowledgeable, very polite, low key no pressure sales employee for the Nanaimo Hyundai. He is definitely a "10" sales representative! Ask for Josh next time you need a car!

Well I bought a 2012 avalanche from them 16 months ago with a bad engine which they didn't disclose. I paid over 30000 dollars and I got a blown engine.so don't trust them.and the also increased the price buy a thousand.

Bought my 2017 Santafe Sport new from this Dealership. The engine failed under recall. I was first told 4 months for the repair. I brought my car to Brodie Macpherson the service manager. Brodie gave me the perfect loner car I needed for my needs. My car was ready in 2 weeks. Amazing! Wow!

Missing a star as a result of a salesperson who was inattentive to me. I waited since JANUARY! I called and checked-in every month to see the status. He didn't inform me when my car finally became available. If I hadn't called and checked the website, I probably wouldn't have my car now. He was late for appointments, never called me back when he said he would. Everyone else was great. Especially Taylor. The insurance rep, Kassandra, was also awesome. Too bad one person can take the shine out of an exciting time.

My husband and I have our Hyundai Sanota Hybrid served with this outstanding dealership for over three years. We recently purchased a second vehicle, a Hyundai Santa Fe' from Nanaimo Hyundai. Our sales man Leo was wonderful. The Suv had a minor issue and they fixed quality, with care and professionalism. We highly recommend and endource Hyundai of Nanaimo.
