Whisker's Urban Ranch Elk Lake

We use the daycare, overnight and grooming services and never had an issue. My dog is always super excited to go and happy and tired when she comes home. Never had reason for concern. Really appreciate the online portal too.

Amazing and friendly staff and the location is so ideal for the dogs. Being so close to the lake, what better place to bring them on their daily walks? Highly recommend to any dog owners in the Cordova Bay area:)

I needed change and I walked in there. Some of the nicest people I’ve met in Victoria. They were super kind and I would trust my dog with them anytime! All the dogs I saw there were super happy and excited! Beautiful location by the lake too, great for walks!

Convenient and fairly priced, I think. We've dropped off the pooch a couple times here. He's always very glad to see us return, as are all the dogs. Our big pup is usually very anxious about entering Whiskers, but he does seem to suffer from seperation anxiety. He's smart and likely knows what's about to happen. Staff is very friendly. There isn't much space for the dogs - the building isn't very large and there appears to be very little outside space. However, we will continue to use their service and would recommend them if you're in the area.

Dropped off a mop. And got back this dapper dog. Did a great job with the haircut on this wiggly pup and he came home so happy! Sir a really sensitive guy, this is huge. Will definitely be coming back.

Having just moved to the Island I had to find a new groomer for my 14 year old WheatenPoo (Mocha). My dog does not like her feet touched and has many skin tags. Whiskers Urban ranch did a great job, left some beard and cut was even. My dog came home happy and relaxed. Thanks to Maxine for doing a great Job

I have been taking my dog to this daycare since he was a puppy, he is almost 2 now. Everyone always tells me how sweet and good he is. Today I went to pick him up and the lady at the front said he had a good day and had fun, but then she said that he is now banned from coming back. She says he was aggressive and got into a lot of fights, which is not in his nature AT ALL! Upon getting home I noticed he is covered in fresh scratches and bite marks (photos attached). It looks more like he was trying to defend himself. I feel like there was not enough attention paid to the dogs and the lady didnt really see how it started, but only saw my big dog defending himself. I feel like we should have gotten a warning or something instead of being banned 1st offence.

Our 7 month old puppy is always so excited to go inside Whisker's. The staff is very friendly and our pup always seems happy when we pick her up.

Love this place, really great owner and staff too. Dogs have sofas and seats to sit on, they make it feel like home which makes it less of a heartache when going away. Highly recommend them

My dog Waffle must love coming here because she always pulls me in the door, she can't wait to get inside. The people who work here are professional and sweet, have great COVID protocols and always tell me how my dog did during the day. I'm glad they don't allow aggressive dogs so I can feel safe leaving my puppy there.

I highly do not recommend this place. I got my dog today and his legs are covered in scratches and he was not looked after at all. The lady at the front desk was not helpful and seemed like she did not care about the well being of other dogs and would rather play on the computer and her phone.
