Whistler Tasting Tours

UPDATE HERE: year 2 - this time around we had Carol and as fate would have it, the tour was even more phenomenal! I cannot recommend this tour enough. We officially love this company and their people. Carol is now Momma C. This year we got paired with a local couple from Vancouver and we're all family now. The food, the company, the service are exceptional. If you want to try, THE BEST food whistler has to offer, look no further. Just tell Luke and Momma C we said "hi"! Also, this year, Ryan got to Saber the wine so we get a cool souvenir for his birthday.
There are not enough words to express how wonderful this tour is. I booked this as a birthday dinner and it turned out beyond expectations. We got moved up a day due to a mandatory minimum number of guests needed for the tour. No big deal for our plans. We ended up on a tour with another couple from Australia that were phenomenal! And if you happen to read this, please email me our tour guide, Luke was hilarious and clearly knows/loves so much about Whistler which is exactly what we were looking for. VIP service at every restaurant, incredible food, and amazing wine pairings. If you're thinking of this tour, I highly recommend! We're planning to go again on our next trip

Hitting 2 birds with 1 stone by strolling around Whistler Village and tasting all the good food! Thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Did not even manage to take a lot old photos as we dove straight right in.

Loved all the food, but our favorite was the salad from the Firerock lounge.

We also love this being self-guided. We managed our time and the staff were understanding if we were a bit late. Thank you Whistler! Will recommend this tour to our fellow foodie friends.

Great way to spend an evening in Whistler! I was trying to decide which restaurant to book in Whistler Village when I stumbled upon this food tour company. So glad I booked their Finer Things Tour where our group of 4 got to visit a variety of restaurants all in one evening instead. Our guide “Christmas Carol” was friendly and led us to the restaurants. She shared her knowledge of local culture and history which was a bonus. The food was excellent at all places. One of our group added wine pairings at each stop which were also excellent. An added bit of fun is receiving playing cards from Carol at each stop as well as for correctly answering trivia questions she posed. At the end of the night, the person with the best poker hand received a great prize. Booking was easy and correspondence before and after the tour helpful. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic time, very well organized, every morsel of food was delicious, our tour Director. Christine was awesome, so much fun, and the best thing that we did on our whole trip, would love to do this again.

Christine was our guide and was brilliant. We had great food, great pairings and great company. Christine was incredibly knowledgeable on all things Whistler and so helpful with absolutely everything. Would recommend this event to everyone - meet the local restauranteurs and get set up for a good time whilst here. This went above and beyond, helping with info totally unrelated to our evening of food and fun, but always related to our group. Thank you!

We did the Hidden Gems tasting tour. Our guide was Luke and he was fantastic. All of the food was good and plentiful…. You will not leave the tour hungry.

Highly recommended quality food tour! Eat in four gourmet restaurants and in addition an ice cream parlor. All while sitting in impressive restaurants, a wonderful guide. A must for foodies coming to Whistler

Carol was a fabulous guide who made our evening of tasting both fun and delicious at every stop. Her knowledge of Whistler and the food and restaurants is impressive. Our whole group had a wonderful experience.

Tour guide was nice, we went for the fine dining experience and it was a bit of a let down. Only 2 people in our group of 11 got to saber a bottle of champagne at the first stop, the rest of us just watched, the food portions I thought were small throughout (2 canapés, a micro starter, a main, 1 scoop of ice cream then some random cheese and fruit), I wouldn't exactly say standing in an ice cream shop and then sitting in a sports bar for our cheese were 'fine dining experiences' and the glass of wine served with the starter and the main was insanely small. Very expensive as well, was cool to seeing different spots and the main course tasted great but I would suggest you just spend the money on one great meal at a single restaurant in Whistler, there are plenty of them.

Went on the hidden gems tour with Luke and he was amazing, not only a great tour but he was extremely knowledgable and personable! It was for my birthday and he made it wonderful!

Had an AWESOME time with Luke on our tour last night. He really made the evening for us. The tour was easy, fun, knowledgeable and we spent the evening laughing our faces off. Food was tasty and service was lovely at all the restaurants we visited. If you're going to whistler I highly reccomend!

My husband and our three teenagers and I did this Hidden Gems food tour. It was phenomenal! I will recommend it to everyone. We've been coming to Whistler for twenty years, but this was one of our fave activities!

This tour was great and recommend at the beginning of your visit because the restaurants are great and you will want to go back to some. Luke was a great tour guide and made it fun and interactive! Highly Recommend!

My girlfriend and I had a great time on the Hidden Gems dinner tour. We initially wanted to do the lunch tour but that was booked out so Dean graciously facilitated us onto the dinner tour which we don't regret. Thanks Dean. Our guide was Carol and she was fantastic. Carol taught us about the village and even introduced us to the Mayor who happened to be walking past. The locals really take pride in the village and it shows. The food was brilliant and we are glad we took our appetite along. Five courses with leftovers at some so you will not go hungry. We will definitely do one again if we end up back in Whistler.

Dean was an amazing host and we saw parts of Whistler we had not yet seen despite owning property there for over 15 years. The bikes were amzaing; the food was outstanding and the company was nothing short of Super Host. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique outing. We'll be back

The Hidden Gems tour was wonderful; our guide, Carol, was lots of fun. The restaurants were a great choice especially as we had not visited any of those on our trip but be warned, bring your appetite, the portions are humongous! Carol kept the pace going and her game was a lot of fun especially for a competitive group like ours. We were a group of five friends so it was even more fun! A great experience!

I had the best time on this tour! Our guide, Carol, was so personable and entertaining; she kept the conversation flowing with anecdotes both informative and humorous. It was obvious from the experience at each restaurant that the tour chose each location with care and had a great relationship with each establishment. The menus were delicious and varied and combined with unique experiences at establishments I may not have found on my own!

Definitely a must do! Our guide was fun and knowledgeable and every bite was amazing. We will absolutely do this tour again.

Our group had an amazing time on the Finer Things tasting tour! The food and service at each restaurant was exceptional and our tour guide, Luke, was so much fun to talk to. Definitely try to fit this into your visit to Whistler, and we recommend adding the drink pairings!

Had a an amazing tour experience in Whistler in May with Christine as our host. Fabulous group, great food, lots of laughs, full bellies, excellent wine pairings. I've been to Whistler many times, and this tour sent me to new places I had not discovered yet and would absolutely return to. Highly recommend for any first time or frequent Whistler visitors. Would go again.
