A fantastic tour with the very knowledgeable Ryan. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, going to beautiful places we wouldn't have known about otherwise and learning about the origins of the town and resort and how it has grown. Very informative tour, we also followed up on Ryan's recommendations for other places to visit which we also enjoyed.

We had an amazing tour with a very good guide: Ryan. He knew so much about Whistler and told everything from the top of his head. He could also answer all the questions being asked. We saw all of Whistler and even a bear. Very nice tour! You should definitely book this!

There were many highlights in the month's holiday my wife and I had in The Rockies, but WVT's Jeep Safari up Blackcomb Mountain trumped them all. The ride up impossible (and seemingly impassable) terrain was exhilarating, the views at the top were breathtaking, and Ryan's knowledge of the terrain was unsurpassable. I would most definitely recommend WVT to anyone.

Ryan is an excellent guide, he knowns the history and best places to visit in Whistler. We enjoyed his tour very much, it was the best way to start our weekend in Whistler.

Ryan gave one of the best tours we have ever been on! He took us all around Whistler and gave us a potted history of the area dating back from the indigenous period, through the first European settlers, on to the Olympic period and up to current time. He kept everyone engaged for the whole time and spoke clearly, articulately and with passion and left us with a good understanding and deep appreciation of the area; and all within just three hours. I would most highly recommend this tour.

Our guide Ryan was fantastic, he shared so much information with us during the tour & it was really nice to see someone have so much passion for there home town.

My group really enjoyed our tour. It was beautiful and informative, and our tour guide was super accommodating of our desire to take pictures and of a group member’s decreased mobility. We even made a snack stop! We got to see parts of Whistler on this tour that we would not have otherwise and got a chance to make amazing memories right at the start of our vacation.

Ryan tried his best to make this tour amazing! Not only I could see the beautiful view, but also learn more about whistler mountain itself!

The van was comfortable and Ryan made sure we were well-hydrated throughout the trip.
With only a couple days in Whistler during non-peak season, my mum and I definitely felt happy in our decision to take a tour with Ryan as he took us to see the sights as well as the parts of Whistler you wouldn't otherwise think to see yourself.
We do wish the tour was longer, but we understand that there are many people who come on tour and intend to catch the evening bus later that day.

The service throughout was fantastic and we got a flight of really good beer at our drop-off point, courtesy of Ryan's company.

We have visited Whistler many times in the past but have never taken a tour before. We had a great time on this tour and learned so much. We visited places we had never seen before and went back the next day on our own to enjoy some more time there. Ryan made the tour very enjoyable.

This tour was very informative from history to culture it was so entertaining! I really enjoy story telling as well as viewing good scenery and this covered it all. I have a good sense now what to try next time based off of Ryan recommendations! Rainbow park was beautiful, the Brewery was good, and we met friends on the bus! Couldn't ask for better. We booked the abandoned train/suspension bridge tour. My girlfriend and I had such a great time. Ryan did a great job with preparing us for how long the tour would last and what it would entail. The part that impressed me was the care he took with the other couple who was on the tour with us. The lady had recently had shoulder surgery so her arm was in a sling. He had a walking stick ready for her and made sure that she was comfortable throughout the hike. I highly recommend taking one of his tours!

I had a phenomenal experience with Ryan where it was myself and my friend trying to understand a little bit more about Whistler. We came away with so much more than that.and we saw a bear!

We booked a 3 hour Whistler tour with Whistlervalleytours.com. Ryan was our fantastic guide. Very comfortable passenger van with large windows picked us up. We have visited Whistler many times, but he took us to places I would have never found or known about! Hidden gems and great views! He takes you back to where Whistler first started. The history and knowledge and his accent made this trip the best of Whistler! He has lived in Whistler for a long time and he know which spots are currently the best for breweries and pizza, casual dining and fine dinning! Highly recommend this for family and friends and anyone wanting to see a little more of Whistler!

I decided to take the Whistler Site Seeing Tour and am so gladI did. It was well worth it. Turns out I was the only one on the tour that day, but my guide Ryan didn’t cancel and instead made it an extra special afternoon for me. He shared so much about the history of the area and took me to several points of interest. He had many recommendations for things to do and places to eat as well, which was very helpful because there’s certainly lots to choose from. My family has fallen in love with this beautiful area and we will definitely be back.

My niece and I had a wonderful afternoon with Ryan from Whistler Valley Tours, navigating points of interest around Whistler. The snowy landscape was beautiful and fascinating. The comfortable tour minibus was our traveling classroom as we learnt about both the recent history of the Winter Olympic venues and past history of First Nations peoples, early settlers and renegades. Well worth our time and money. Thank you Ryan!

My boyfriend and I traveled to Whistler back in November of 2021 for our “baby moon” we did the tour with Ryan and he was very nice and knowledgeable. Also very cautious with safety protocols. He allowed us time to take pictures and explore a little on our own as well. I would highly recommend this tour and if we ever travel back to Whistler again we will be calling up Ryan to see if their is any other tours he’s doing.

Ryan, our tour guide, has an impressive breadth of knowledge when it comes to Whistler. He can tell you all about the history of the place, lakes, hikes, local folklore and more. Before his tours we thought we were going to a resort, but he showed us how the place has a rich history, with a tight-knit community. Overall a great guy, always trying to learn new things to share with his hike buddies.

I went on the Whistler Sightseeing Tour with Ryan today and it was totally worth the money and time! Highly reccommended if you want to get to know more about Whistler itself, the different neighbourhoods, history and the local life! I really enjoyed the ride, getting to know so much cool stuff I did not have any idea off! I'm seeing Whistler with different eyes now! Hands down a must do for your visit to Whistler! This tour covered all the must see hot spots and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to give us some great insider knowledge on the area, pretty interesting history we would of never have known had we not taken this tour. Def one of our top highlights during our time in Whistler, I can't recommend it enough! Great for all ages and families.
