White River Resort

An amazing campground with large serviced sites on a nice chunk of land right beside the White river, that’s run by great people. I would definitely recommend, it’s very peaceful.

We have been going to this campground for a couple years now, great location very clean area and the owners are very friendly, this will be the campground we will continue to come to with our family for years to come.

Great experience staying here. The owners are warm and welcoming. The washrooom is clean. Location is great as it is just beside the river. Our campsite was neat and clean plus they have wifi and electric hookup. We will definitely come back!

Very friendly, cozy spot for camping. Full service for RVs, and there are a couple tenting spots nestled in the trees. Lesley was more than happy to set us up in a private, treed site. Clean, full-functioning bathrooms with shower. The nearby Sayward Junction on the highway also has an excellent pub within walking distance. Highly recommend you make this one of your stops

Nice spacious sites. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean facilities. Located beside the White River. Quiet. Very close to the junction. Definately stay again at this campground.

While camping there, when we were away from our campsite, children from another campsite came and threw charcoal, sticks and large river rocks all over our tent, cut a hole on the floor of the tent and threw one of my $100 Nike tennis shoes over the river bank, after digging in the Bush for a bit we were able to locate it. They were sitting next to our site with soot covered hands so it was pretty clear it was them. The owner did nothing nor did they care that it had even happened. Simply suggested we clean our tent and patch the hole. No offer of a discount or even an apology. We wont be back.

Absolutely beautiful spot! Old growth trees and a pristine river. Clean bathrooms/showers. Very quiet with well kept pathways around the 20 acres. Large private rv sites with full hookups at a very reasonable rate. Definitely worth returning to.

Went down to check this place out. Exquisite natural beauty all around, crystal green river rushing by, lovely old growth tree and groomed paths. I would like to add a fantastic host! I think this a must visit for your trip up north island, see you there!
