I’ve been taking my truck here for about 9 years now. I rely on my tru k to get up to job all over BC. When I need work done they have always been there for me great staff and honest people.

I had a headlight burn out and dropped in without an appointment. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly.

Had my car changed the front break pads and rollers here, I appreciate the work, it’s done fast, after it’s done, I see the rollers looks very different with my original ones, I asked this business owner named Alice why they look differently (I requested put on original ones), she can’t answer. I asked if I can have a look of the parts package and this owner started to flip off, yelling and asking me to dig in the garbage bin for the package, threatened me if I still want my car back, kept saying pay your bill. After a bunch of augments and trying to find proof, I paid, she says there’ll never be business with me, ironically. Luckily when I got home I called the supplier again, they confirmed it is not the original ones, but they are from the same company, and they should work well. I appreciate the work they put on, but not with that attitude, people has right to know if the right parts being put on, especially when it comes to safety. When they have questions or concerns, answer should be provided, but this owner has no interest in doing any of that. All this owner cares is to hide prices of the parts, honestly I have no interest of that, just want to confirm the right part being put on. But by seeing all the other reviews, seems like this owner just had the habit to rip people off, and flipped when she seeing people may find it out. Sad.

They were able to fit me in for an out of province vehicle inspection and for a tire repair - great, reliable service!

I've been taking my vehicle into Harvey and his team at White Rock Auto for about 2 years now. They always get my car back to me quickly, for a great price and they even follow up after to check in and make sure everything is running well.

Harvey & Alex always give you the straight goods when your car is in for service or repairs. I don’t feel pressured to spend the money, but as we have built a trusted relationship in the past, I know that I should follow through to have my vehicle perform at it’s best. They also stand behind their work, so if there are any issues, they will correct them.

Very helpful and detail oriented! Made pick up and drop off super simple and Alex in the office is kind and attentive. I feel safe taking my car here, knowing that I will receive a fair estimate with no extra add ons I didn’t ask for! Great service.

When service is done on time, of good quality, and with overall assessment of the car regarding safety, I have a confidence in the job well done. I have my other vehicle serviced here and will continue to so.

Do not trust this place to fix you or your loved ones vehicles. Had them safety and service a vehicle I bought for my 80 year old parents. I told them it was for my parents and I didn’t want to skimp on safety for them. After a $2000 service and back brake job I got the vehicle and gave it to my parents. After them driving it twice the front brakes were grinding. I took it to another shop and there was nothing left of the front pads. Metal on metal. Called White Rock Auto and told them about this to give them a chance to make it right. They said the brakes were fine when it left there. Pathetic

I would highly recommend these folks for anyone needing automotive service. I had to sell my father's van after he passed away and it had been sitting for some time. The back brakes had completely seized. With very short notice and then being quite busy they accommodated me quickly and got everything fixed properly and for a very reasonable price. The brakes drums in the rear needed to be replaced but they told me the front brakes were still fine. They could have told me they needed to be replaced as well and I wouldn't have known the difference. They were very honest guys and I could tell they took pride in their work. Even contacting me after the service to make sure everything was okay. So they did the rear brake drums, drained the transmission fluid and replaced it along with the new filter, changed the engine oil and filter, replaced some light bulbs that were out and put in a brand new radiator since it had a bad leak. The van ran perfectly after this and I was able to get it sold and I feel good that the people who bought it have a good solid vehicle now. It's hard to find a mechanic shop that you can really trust nowadays and that will do quality work. I would highly recommend White Rock automotive. Glad I found them

STAY AWAY. These people are money hungry and don’t listen to the customers requests, they would rather fix something not even relevant to why you came in. They will over charge you and the reception lady was extremely rude with a very bad attitude. I asked for the invoice and she refused to provide it until I paid. I advise you steer clear of these scammers. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing. 1200$ for 6 spark plugs to be changed? What a joke on their part. I have reported to the BBB also on every white rock community page there is. Shame on a local business for ripping the community off.

Side note: the service I wanted to be done in the first place was quoted 600$ By someone else. Thanks but no thanks

I have been frequenting this automotive repair shop for 10 year now
and was always very satisfied of the work they performed. They also are giving me tips for how to keep my car
in good standing so that I can save money on costly repairs. Alex the receptionist is always very friendly and
professional. Once you bring your car to service here you will never take it any other shop.

I've been a customer of White Rock Auto for I can't remember how many years now, and I've never had anything but attentive and thorough service from them in all that time. From something as simple as an oil change, to electrical diagnostics, brake pad replacement, and even one winter when they pointed out an air leakage in the seals was causing a difficult condensation problem, they've always called me with honest, appropriately priced quotes and have told me entirely truthful accounts of what needed to be done. My car has always come out of their care running excellently, and I trust them entirely with my safety and the long life of my aging little coupé. Top marks for them all across the board.

White Rock Automotive Services performed Provincial Inspections and replaced the windshields on both of our vehicles. They did a great job! We appreciated the company's ability to conduct the inspections and the windshield replacements in a timely manner. It has been several months since the windshields were replaced and we have had no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend them.

My vehicle needed a lot work, they were able to start working on it right away. The work was done well and one time. The year warrentee on the work gives me extra piece of mind. Bonus, the office staff was really responsive and sent me text updates throughout the process.

I sent an email Sunday night explaining my issue and received a reply right away! Who even does that these days? !? I was able to bring my car in Monday morning to have my issue looked at (car was overheating).
They looked the car over and thankfully there was nothing wrong. Harvey, thank you for replying on a Sunday night and getting me in on such short notice and Alex, thank you for the amazing customer service. Please extend my thank you to the techs who worked on my car.

I’ve had a great experience over the last couple of years having my car serviced here. They are always willing to help and go the extra mile, friendly, trustworthy, and reasonably priced.

I like their style of business: text messages, availabilty within days, confirming appointments the day before, cordiality in every interaction, smiles, and good prompt work. White Rock Auto is my mechanic shop for ever; why would I ever switch!

They were great…got me in within 2 days to fix ac and did it on a holiday. They were efficient and very pleasant to work with! I will definitely use them again!

Have used them several times for oil changes. The work has always been performed in a timely fashion. Their workmanship & reasonable pricing keeps me coming back.

I'm fairly certain this is the most honest mechanic shop that ever existed. Take all my vehicles here. They once sourced a specialist cast welder to fix a crack in a front diff on my giant 1 ton 4x4 rather than buying a whole new unit. Saved me thousands!

After being told from a different shop that I needed to replace my entire AC unit, I reached out to WR auto for a second opinion. They got me in quickly and confirmed that my AC just needed a recharge! They had my car fixed quickly and saved me at least $800 on a service I didn’t actually need. I was very impressed, I will definitely return!

I noticed a discount coupon in our local paper for an oil and filter change. I made an appointment and was advised it would take about 1 hour. The staff we're very friendly and very well organized for my safety in regard to covid regulations. Technician George worked on my car and I was very pleased that he also checked over my brakes, tires, lights, fluids, various belts, steering and suspension, and found them all to be in good condition. Good work George!

They kept my car for 8 days. Dropped it off on a Monday night. Told they would look at it Tuesday. I called Tuesday afternoon, they didn't. Ok, Wednesday for sure. Nope. Didn't look at it Wedbesday. Finally looked at it Thursday. Told ne what's wrong, but I had already told them what I needed. Will be ready Friday. Great. Didn't gear back. I called Friday pm, nope won't be ready till Monday. Reminded them it was a long weekend, so Tuesday they said. Ok great. I called Tuesday at lunch time, nope, won't be ready till Wednesday. Is this normal? Then when they told me it was ready, they said I needed new windshield bumper blades, which I knew, and have at home to put on. Said they could do it for 10 dollars a blade. Like seriously? I just spent 1400 to get my car fixed, and you couldn't just put some wiper blades on out of courtesy and for good business? Won't be going back.

Best Prices and service for Oil Changes and Mechanical. Very quick and thorough. Will be going back for more.

Called this place with for a quote for my car, I got a call back within 10 mins, other shops wouldn’t even answer their phones or they would want me to come in to see them, will definitely use Whiterock auto once I’m ready for my repairs

Wasted my time and money!
Had the family vehicle in for an out of province safety inspection. Was told the brakes are worn out. This was odd as they had been fully replaced less than 2 years/40K old. Brought to another shop to double check, and they were measured and found to be like new and not worn out. Steer clear of this place unless you like being ripped off!

I got my AC repaired here, very satisfied with the job also saved lots of money, another shop had quoted me $150 more then white rock auto.

Harvey and his team at whiterock auto are the best, after another shop in the complex quoted me over $800 for repairs on my daily beater car, whiterock auto fixed it for under $600, thanks so much

Brought my car to the workshop to diagnose and fix the suspension rattling noice. Got the call from the owner later who told me that they need to replace both front sway bar links. The quote for the whole job including diagnostic and replacement was $616. This price included the price for the both links $414! (The owner said that it was the price for the medium grade parts)
At that time I didn't know what the sway bar link was. I thought it was something major and therefore pricy. So I agreed to pay. Later on I checked the price at Canadian Tire and Lordco. They quoted the medium grade certified links at $107 and $109 accordingly. Also I checked the price for the parts and the job at the next door automotive service and got a quote for the parts at $164 with total price for the job at $318, not $616. The links were overpriced at least by $250! I brought this info to the Whiterock Automotive owner's attention and asked him to install the reasonable priced parts on my car. However he refused because "he could not return the parts already installed". I have a strong feeling that this workshop makes money on spare parts big time.
