White Spot Campbell River

I typically love White Spot. I’ve been to a handful of locations across the Lower Mainland for dine-in experiences with my wife and they’ve been consistently great. This is the first time I’ve ordered pick-up and I was quite displeased. The food tasted fine, but it was stone cold when I picked it up. I pride myself on being on time, which is why I walked through the doors exactly at the time I asked for the food to be ready, expecting everything to be piping hot. My guess is the food had been ready 10 minutes earlier and just sat there. Cold zoo sticks aren’t particularly appealing, not that cold fries and burgers aren’t equally disappointing. I imagine the food would have been hot if I’d come in for a meal, so I’ll have to think long and hard about ordering take-out again.

I ordered through skip and been in hospital for days. Wanted a good meal b4 surgery, ordered 9oz NY and added things that wasn't on add on button. They still did it and wrote get well soon on my container. These guys made my day since I was in a nervous wreck. I can all tell they cooked my food with love. U guys went out of your way and just wanna say thank you!

Theresa, the manager, was wonderful. We made an error with our order and she fixed it immediately. She was very gracious and super helpful.

Literally the slowest service of any white spot I’ve ever been to. It plenty of empty tables and extra staff slowly wandering around, yet no sense of urgency or consideration for customers time. More than the occasional error with orders just adds to the frustration. You can do much better, White Spot.

Everyone really went the extra mile to make my sons 7th birthday special. He requested White Spot for his birthday dinner, and they did not disappoint. Every server that walked by took the time to ask him about his birthday and put a smile on his face.

The Mushroom Brie Veggie Burger was amazing, and I’m not even vegetarian. The kids are never disappointed by the “cheese noodles”.

Thanks for helping us make today special for our son! This experience has brought back some faith in the service industry.

Food was decent but they are openly violating Canadians rights by enforcing Vax pass and not even serving every day people with medical conditions. Sad business openly discriminate against regular people suffering from medical conditions. Was a regular customer but won't be back and will be serving a notice of liability for discrimination and violations of the Canadian Charter of Rights.

Our server Sarah was very attentive even during lunch hour. I just moved here and I was very impressed by the soups they had too way better selection then the one in my hometown! The food was prepared perfectly as well! Great place for a burger, my favourite food!

Solid food, really courteous servers and they were open later than some restaurants in the area. Happy that I came. You know what you're getting with White Spot.

We ate here yesterday! Suoer friendly service and the meals were delish! I never order pasta but I did this day! It was the best I've had!

They do not like bikers, they do not like Tourist. I was cut off after one beer. She said I had to eat something first. Told her I had a full breakfast. Did not matter. They do however like our Money.

I was disappointed I got a cup for tea that was not clean the meal was not that good either fries were cold batter on the fish could have been done better the waitress on the other hand was good

Was really disappointing to eat there. I am gluten free and vegan and ordered one of the breakfast dishes that usually comes with beef, veggies and hashbrows but without the beef, just with extra veggies. When I received the meal, there was beef.had to send it back. Waited a while to receive my "second" plate. This was luke warm, no extra veggies and tons of tiny pieces of burned potatoes instead of some nice hashbrown, (like my hubbies plate), no extra veggies. Looked like they didn't bother actually making the meal, I got the stuff that was left in the pan. Still got charged $17.00 for the plate, no discount. I will not go back. What a waste of money and feeling gross after having the meal.

We got our breakfast as a take out meal. They were fast, packaged well and tasted delicious. I'd recommend other people to go there

Food was great, service great, but gave lower stars, due to the floors being extremely slippery. That's so dangerous, especially with the amount of elders that use this location and with the high possibility of someone falling and breaking a hip.
Just saying, if you are already aware of it, then you need to address it Pronto.

A great place to go if you want to wait and wait and wait all in to the sum of over 2 hours with almost no server contact. No drink top ups no how's your meal, too bad

The worst White Spot I have ever been to. Waited an hour for our food and when we finally got the food it was cold. The pancakes were like solid frisbees. I never got the fruit that was supposed to come with my meal and the waitress never even followed up with us to ask how things were.

Excellent food and drink. Service was as expected, showed up near close on a stat Happy hour specials are great, highly suggest taking advantage of those!

I asked to speak to the manager I was told he be over in a couple minutes over 15 minutes later i decided go to look for him myself he was very busy chatting up the young takeout girl

The waitress was awesome but the food was terrible. My husband couldn't eat his fish and chips and my cob salad was not good either. We both had upset stomachs after. Will never return.we did tell them about our meal and were not charged for the fish and chips

I put 4 stars for having to sit outside. Otherwise, the service is excellent and I had classic eggs benedict. My eggs were done perfectly, poached soft

Talk about poor service! The restaurant had people in it! But coming through the door, there was nothing to do do about the procedure for the Pandemic! No hand sanitizer, people weren't standing 2 meters apart! We got to our table looked at the menu! Guess because of the Pandemic, the prices where a little higher than most restaurants! My friends ordered breakfast, & where disappointed! Food was half cold, & toast not fully brown on one side; the other was white! Potatoes looked like they had sat in the window! I had the mushrooms burger! Talk about disappointing! It must've sat in the window for about 10mins! Fries where cold as rock! And the coleslaw didn't have any flavour to it! And our server was useless, never came back to check on us or if we were enjoying the food or anything! Look like she was more interested in taking orders & getting drinks

One of my all time favourite s since I was very small, Delicious triple o sauce on every burger. Best burgers in British Columbia I would have to say!

The spots gone down hill in their burgers. In the days of the carhop, a legendary burger came with a burger top. The chowder used to be quite tasty. Now a days the legendary burger is just a burger and a bun with sauce. The chowder has little flavor. All in all, it doesn't cut the mustard for the price. I'd rather eat at Dukes.

Really hard to give a review star number for this white spot. The service was really good and brownie desert was very tasty as the brownie I was told, was unusually fluffy.

The halibut however was dry and not up to my expectation.
White spot has since called and we have resolved this to my satisfaction.

It was good. I had the panko halibut.fish was slightly over cooked but halibut is a fussy fish.service was ok.they tried.for some reason they had to leave the inside door open so everytime someone came in. The cold air came rushing in.over all it was fine

White spot was awsome. We had a slight problem with our waitress and the manager went above and beyond to make us feel better. Best cheese cake I've ever had! Thank you Mr. Manager.

Ordered take out a few times from this place gave them the benefit of the doubt a couple times but they never get the order right and now there phone is disconnected so you can't even call to them what they got wrong!

Even though my order missed a couple of items I was compensated and content I have been a patron for a long time and will continue

You know what to expect when you go to a white spot. Food was good, service was good, food was slow getting to the table but hey, no biggie

Friendly staff but it took us a very long time to get served. Asked for 3 waters it took the waitress 15 minuets and she came back with 1. We didn't get our food for over an hour had to change to a take out order. If your in a hurry I'd give it a miss

Very understaffed, only exceptional thing was our server who was amazing with our kids, food was not that good at all and expensive to say the least.

White Spot is what it is. Years ago they were great but slowly they've gone downhill. Burgers are still good and really the only thing I will order. So, 4 stars for the burgers.

5 guest who arrived after us were served before us. I saw my food sit ready to be served for 15 minutes. Blame the covid if you want, I didn't enjoy my visit.

Over the last few years we have always enjoyed our dinners out here at the White Spot. I have always had great service and great food. Thank you and I look forward to a dinner out soon!

Our grandchildren really enjoy the Pirate pack here. Lots of food choices. The seafood chowder was not good. Tasted like a prefrozen or dried. Steak sandwich good. Friendly waitress.

The seating position was not that good, staff are friendly but seems disorganized. Went in for dinner at regular time with six people. Finally just started getting up for my coffee. Probably not going back️

First waitress took our order never came back with anything second waitress came took order without writing it down I got chicken fettuccine instead of seafood fettuccine that I ordered and my chicken and my wife's chicken burger were way over cooked and tough don't know if I'll try that place again

It had been years since I been to a White Spot. There is none near our place. The server went out of her way out make sure that my salad was made to accommodate my food allergy. I was pleased with both the meal and service.

I don't ever understand how an almost empty restaurant can be so slow. We waited almost 30 minutes for our breakfast of Eggs benny and a Nats breakfast.
1st, no one was at door to greet us.
After we were seated, our waitress took our beverage order and then our food order. Great.
I ordered soft poached eggs and got hard. Sent it back. I ordered a well done English muffin and did not.
I use to be a breakfast cook at White Spot so I wonder who was cooking and what was so difficult. This is not rocket science, it is just cooking an egg and giving the customer what they request and it was not a difficult request. Just put the English muffin thru the toaster twice.
My husband has never liked White Spots breakfast, says the eggs are tasteless but at least his order was cooked perfectly.
