We waited for 30 minutes to get a seat, the server was very rude when we walked up to him he said What.and later we saw a server drink out of someones drink, shortly after we got out drink we found out someone spat in it! DO NOT COME HERE!

Noisy with lots of children's loud voices. Not some place to got for a quiet lunch. Lol

Unfortunately I had such a bad experience here that I came back in the morning to report it to the manager. He did listen which makes me hopeful that things will change, but I won't return.

Was nice n clean. Waitress was very polite. Let me have table where I could see tv to watch while I wait and eat my burger n fries. Have to go back soon forgot to get one of there great milkshakes

Horrible service, food was undercooked, charged us for something we didn’t order then argued that we order it, it used to be a good white spot but definitely not any more, we will never go back.

I ordered a legendary burger on a lettuce bun and it was a let down. The patty was so thin and dried out and was broken into several pieces. The “lettuce wrap” was a giant chunk of iceberg lettuce and was brown around the edges. It was quite a shock as Whitespot burgers generally are “legendary”… my husband’s burger was fine. I’m going to McDonalds now (their burgers are head and shoulders above what I received from whitespot today, so that’s saying something…).

The manager always try so hard to ensure his customers get a good meal.and my burger and fries were excellent as was my husband's chicken fettuccini.

Ordered the legendary burger and fries. Burger was not only the worst I have ever had at a White Spot, it was close to the worst burger I've ever had, period. The bun was literally rock hard and completely dry, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a several hours. Very little 'triple-o sauce' and dried up patty. Soggy lukewarm fries. We eat the White Spot burgers on the ferry and this was nothing like that. One would think there would be more consistency in quality in a chain restaurant. Flagged down the hostess (waitress dropped our food at the table and never came back to ask how the meal was, although the place was nearly empty at dinnertime), and I assume what was the manager came over and he took the burger away and came back about a minute later with another burger that was equally dried up and awful. They did remove my meal from the bill, which was appreciated, but after that experience we will not be back.

This place always has good food regardless of what you order, kudos to the chefs, this trip was a classic double double with fries
No disappointments, service was descent.

Best place to hang out before an appointment at saan penn hospital. Smashed potatoes unlimited and coffee refills after breakfast. Friendly wait staff! Nice omelette.

A blizzard outside and a/c was on.
Husband requested fries before meL arrived because he was hungry.nothing served until meal arrived.everything was cold.no except hostess checked on us to see if we needed anything.hostess was very helpful. Menu has shrunk and not many choices.prices have gone up up.very disappointing

I only gave them 4 stars because I did a take out pickup and there wasn't any napkins or salt/pepper for the fries in the bag and I was picnicking in my car. Food was good though.

Very poor management. Restaurant is always empty but have to wait 10-30 mins to even get a table, followed by extremely slow service. Go figure. Much better restaurants around.

NOTE to MANAGER: Although we love going for the white spot experience, we can't help but notice the serious lack of cleanliness. The walls, salt and pepper, the windows are all filthy. We do understand the challenges restaurant are facing but cleanliness is first. And your restaurant is really bad.your staff is great and young and unfortunately we understand how hard it must be for them to give great service when there is a shortage of good support. And that goes for the kitchen as well. I realized that when I ordered a side of Hollandaise and I received it in a soup bowl (no dishwashers I guess). I know it's hard given the times we find ourselves in.but clean your restaurant top to bottom, it's really bad.and that's managements responsibility. I can't go back to that restaurant it's that bad.

Short of staff so servers overstretched but did a good job. Chips/Fries soso, I can't imagine why anyone would want the unending option.

I don't write reviews but I had to here. Ordered a celiac burger for my son and realized after eating it it wasn't a gluten free bun. They forgot half of my phone order and I had to go back after driving home 15 minutes.

So they forgot half my order, poisened my son, and I their phone line was busy for 20 minutes when I was trying to phone to confirm if they'd poisened by kid.

This place is a massive dumpster fire.

I was really disappointed with the food. The soup was cold, the salad was saggy and the coconut prawns were over cook.
I usually have a good experience here.

Had a lovely dinning experience here our food was quite good and arrived quickly, our server mercedes was very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to have. Will visit again!

First time here - I'm on vacation and haven't been to this island since being 9 months old. The prices were great, and I had the Chicken Broccoli and Cheese casserole - the curried spices in it were fantastic, the Spot Salad it came with was good, and the staff were super friendly and refreshingly efficient. Despite the large crowds, the wait time was reasonable for a party of 4. If I eat here again, I will get the same thing, but try substituting the side of rice for yam fries, if possible.

It was so nice to come in & have a sit down lunch at this White Spot located off the Pat Bay Hwy on our way back home after leaving the ferry. Food was good & our hostess was very pleasant & attentative. So glad to see this place open instead of take-out all the time everywhere with covid being the culprit. I'd definitely recommend this White Spot location.

Food ok. Pretty expensive for what it is, but that us all White Spots. Felt sorry for staff at Saanichton location. Very poor training leaving nice young people scattered and unprofessional. No protocol for taking seating by host; no idea how to say things to people and watched several people get quite exasperated. Manager should be replaced.

They have to have THE slowest service on the island. Absolutely ridiculous. Ordered take out for pick up at 630.arrived at 630 and waited over 45 minutes for our food. This was after the confirmation email stating it would be ready at 630.
We have had SO many issues with this location. Items out of stock and we aren't told until we go pick up. Orders are wrong or incomplete. We are complete idiots for continuing to go here.

Terrible service and terrible food
My family and I went out for a fathers day dinner
I got the Avocado impossible burger which ended up being real meat and a poutine which my gravy was jelly
They gave my children plain veggie burgers
My wife got overcooked salmon and rice
Everything was burnt and bland
Our server "sammy" was unseen besides one time for the standard check up and not once did we get refills on out waters my kids desert was icecream which was basically melted and my wife and i split a brownie which we watched sammy microwave and it still came cold and our server was training another girl who is going to get nowhere being trained by her beyond terrible time there and mind this costed near 100$
Please please do not waste your money here you will go home with a tummy ache from terrible food

Made an order for pick up and went in to the restaurant to pay with with cash. They took my money to pay for my order and didnt come back with my change until 13 min later after i had to ask for it. The beef burger was burnt and the turkey breasts burger looked like ground cardboard. No plastic cutlery or napkins on the bag either. Will never go to this restaurant again.

Horrible service I have almost no one in restaurant.take over 15 min take me at my seat and no it’s not because the COVID fews waitress on the phone texting it’s not acceptable need change customer service

This place is Honestly so great. Even though they were really busy and seemed a couple hands short they got my food out quickly and worked with a smile! The food was great, service was impeccable, all around great place!

The only redeeming quality of my meal was the fries, and the kind waitress that served me.

The burger was seared on the outside, and still had soft pink center to it, had consistency of an uncooked hotdog. The caesar salad was old browning iceberg lettuce with a very small amount of watered down dressing, and the coleslaw was extremely sweet.

The creamer for my coffee had chunks of what looked like cottage cheese floating on the top, and was an overall disappointing meal. Left 2/3 of my meal for the trash unfortunately.

Food is great, table service is great, but we'll be standing in the lobby for an eternity before anyone even notices we're waiting there.

Food just seems a little over cooked then other white spots. Staff is okay, but seem to be in neutral. Feels like a fast food place more then a restaurant.

Nice server, obviously in training, she had a manager following along with her. Food was great as well. One thing that irks me where ever I go, is that servers bring the bill and not the portable card machine and then has to go back and get it. After that rant, this young waitress, with out her coach manager, brought the machine with her! So in my books a potential stellar server

Ordered online for pick-up at 8pm. Shortly after ordering, we were called to say they did not have the vegetables on the menu so offered broccoli and carrots instead. We said that was totally fine. 15 minutes later, they called again to say the did not actually have broccoli so asked whether just carrots and another side (not steamed/roasted vegetables) would be okay. We also said that was okay, not having much of a choice. Picked up the order and got home to realize the carrots had not even been included and the cranberry sauce was also forgotten. Called in and when I asked if they were set aside for us to come back, the person who answered informed me that carrots did not come with the Turkey meal. After explaining the entire situation, she said they would make up carrots for us. We drove back to the restaurant and picked up the missed items. No apology was given and nothing offered to make up for having to drive back for a mistake on their part. We will not be returning.

Phoned in an order, with a vegetarian marinara sauce sub for meat sauce on spaghetti, and two gluten free burgers. Spaghetti came with meat sauce, and one of two burgers came not gluten free. Do not order if you have allergies. Was not done through skip or doordash, called the restaurant directly.

Good food as always and friendly service. Found the service quite slow and when we visited it was amazingly cold inside the restaurant.

The service was slow. I can understand the kitchen being in the weeds if that was the case, but the service staff could have made up for that with a little effort. All we would have needed was someone telling us it would be a bit longer and checking on our drink refills to make the experience palatable. Unfortunately, we were largely ignored and had to walk to the bat twice to get coffee refills. It made the 60+ minute wait worse than it had to be.

I placed an order for six people over the phone. I was told 30 minutes, but figured 40 to be safe. When I showed up, the girl at the front went into the back with my name. When she came back from the kitchen she told me my order would be another 15 minutes. When I went back in, the same girl told me they had no record of my order. Strange that they didn't say that in the first place. She proceeded to grab a crayon and piece of paper towel to retake my order down. Makes sence they lost it, if that's how they wright down an order. Needless to say, I declined. As I was leaving, another guy told me he had placed his order two hours earlier. They had lost his order aswell. I called the Prairie Inn. Surprise, surprise, they said 40 mins and it was ready when I showed up. Don't waste your time, go straight to the Prairie Inn.

Great service and great food, we go out of our way to go to this particular Whitespot because they get it right every time we visit. Every time and always accommodating with a smile you can see!

I'm sorry to say we had to wait way too long for cold food, and we found to host to be very inhospitable uninviting and rude. Not what we would expect from white spot. We will find another location to dine

Manager didn't acknowledge our presence at the front door and kept walking past us (without looking at us). We had to ask if they were open before they seated us.
Meal was horrible, they never came back to see if the meal was ok. Had to track down an server to ask for more water.
Service horrible. Food, yuck.

Staff was friendly and we appreciate them being there. Food was what I expect from white spot. Good chicken burger. My son has a great time with his pirate pack.

So disappointed today when my son and granddaughter took me to white spot for my birthday lunch. I arrived before them and asked for a table for three with a bench. Waitress said she was seating a table for two and would just disinfect a table for us. About ten minutes later party of five arrived and were asked to wait outside. A few minutes later a male employee took us to a booth. I told him I needed a bench and he informed me the bench was for the party of five I told him I was here long before the party of five arrived but he would not let us sit there. We left without eating. I was so mad. Ask anyone what is my favourite restaurant and I would have said White Spot. Shame on them for not accommodating clients when we should have been served first. It will be a frosty Friday before I visit the white spot again and I will be sure to tell everyone what TERRIBLE SERVICE we received.

Nice to see them open again. Eggs Benedict was good. Service was a bit slower than normal and we had to ask for several things. Hopefully it's only due to the new methods and all the changes and will become faster as they adapt.

It was great to finally go there post covid-19 shut down. The place was clean. The staff were wonderful and put cleanliness and social distancing first before anything was done. They all wore face masks/shields to protect everyone.

I had the teriyaki edamame donburi bowl. This had the right amount of sauce with the crispy sauteed veggies and white rice. The chicken was cooked almost to perfection with a nice layer of crisp on the top/bottom of the chicken breast. Was a tad dry but still extremely enjoyable as it was beautifully seasoned.

Our server was wonderful. She constantly checked up in us in a very timely fashion and enjoyed a quick chat once in a while. She was very polite and friendly.

It was great to eat there again. I really enjoyed the experience.

Good walking trails with moderate terrain. Dog friendly off and on leash. Sheltered so great on hot days.

Best fish & chips I ever had anywhere invluding all other White Spots. Everything was really fresh especially the coleslaw since they just ran out before we got there and they had to make a new batch. Staff were wonderful.

The manager was extremely rude to a woman waiting for change for her takeout food. It was a large order and she paid with $100 bill. The manager took over 15 minutes to return with this woman's change while she watched him attend to other customers, serve meals etc. She repeatedly asked for someone to get her change and was ignored. It made me feel so bad. Her food was just getting cold. It was astonishing to witness. I am sorry to say that the feeling I got was that if the woman had not been Indigenous, the staff and manager would have responded differently. She was patient but frustrated. Maybe I shoulda kept quiet but it made me really mad for her and ashamed at the way she was being treated. The manager was also not white but his disdain towards the woman was evident in his manner and tone towards her. It was shocking, so I intervened, calling upon him to attend to her immediately, and he did, and had her change right there, so could have walked over and give it to her earlier. No offer of free dessert for keeping her waiting. No apology. He just rudely blamed her for paying for large food order with $100 cash!

I love whitespot. It is always so good. My kid loves the pirate packs. If you are from BC you love white spot. It is that simple. If you don't love it, you might be a commie.

Man I worked for this place and they have the worst management in thw world.they are terrible with cleanliness, they don't care about the customer or your food. Just go to the trusty mc dons across the street.

Unusually poor experience tonight. Challenges with kitchen staffing resulting in long wait for food. That was compounded by how poorly the manager on duty handled it when she visited our table afterward. Shouldn't have been an issue for a 4: 45pm seating where 3 people ordered the same current feature meal (all components of which are pre-preped items). Disappointing as White Spots are my elderly grandparents favorite place to get together on the rare times we are able to have a visit.

I won't be back. The service was almost non existent in an empty restaurant, and 3.50 for a cup of coffee that tasted like it had been on a burner for hours? Not a good experience.

There is also more inside YYJ (Victoria International Airport) If you pay for the parking, you will get $1 discount when you order anything from White Spot. It’s always so nice and fresh! I love it! I Hope everyone else enjoys this restaurant as much as I do! There’s always excellent service and delicious food! Everywhere is very nice and clean! That is one thing I trust about chained business, because they carry out higher standards, qualified chef and kitchen staffs! Not like other Restaurants where the cook wasn’t even a cook before, you can just tell from the way they cut their meat and vegetables!
