The food was excellent as always.but the service was utterly disgusting.our waitress never came back to see how the food was.more coffee.water.how the food was tasting.had to ask for more coffee.ask for a takeout box for my food.waited 5 minutes then took the plate of food to the front counter.are you kidding me.never go back.

Had a great dinner with the family. One of the hosts cleared our booth and I saw him lick the ketchup off the plate as he was walking away. Other than that great atmosphere and reasonably priced food.

Had an awkward moment when we thought we were being seated and they instead went to service other tables. Otherwise it was all good.

Unfortunately I forgot to say I had an allergy and the menu description did not mention nuts.

White Spot used to be the best. Now they’re just average. Had a burger and fries. The fries were stone cold as was the bun. The meat patty was burnt, actually crunchy. No amount of triple o could improve that. Excellent service though.

I don't even know where to start. The waitress was unsure if the buns where vegan. The salads advertised on the menu that come with the burger aren't vegan. In addition, you have to state that you want a VEGAN beyond meat avocado burger otherwise they will put ranch dressing which isn't vegan.
The beyond meat was burnt. My first bite tasted like carbon. I was sooo put off (even though I was hungry) that I didn't want to eat anything at WhiteSpot. I took off the most burnt parts of the burger to make an attempt to enjoy the meal. The pieces are on the right side of the dish. With a mouth full of carbon it was impossible to enjoy. The manager and waitress were extremely apologetic and kind. After my boyfriend spoke to the manager we learned that they could make a vegan salad. As a vegan who is dating a non-vegan going out to eat at places that cater to western style food, is challenging. The most surprising aspect to me is that vegan food is soo straight forward and simple. If you are vegan and decide to go to Whitespot, I suggest you order the Teriyaki Donburi bowl. If you choose to go for the burger, order the GF buns as the manager said they were vegan and ask for vegan salad, not on the menu, or ask for fries. As kind as the manager and the waitress were I felt that the options weren't authentically catering to vegans. Vegan mayo and vegan cheese exists that can be easily purchased to make a spectacular vegan burger. Thank you for tonight's lesson Whitespot.

Everything was great like how it is expected to be which is rare these days as businesses struggle with staff shortage

Went to White Spot for some breakfast takeout, so I can't speak to the atmosphere of the place. Seemed comfy.

Service was excellent and I got my order in and out in less than 20 mins. Ordered standard bacon and eggs, then added a breakfast hash. Both were good and they give youa set of wood utensils which is great for tinder!

Since this place is located right beside the hospital proved really convenient for me. If your in the area check it out, thoguh watchout for parking, its a small lot.

I love the Eggs Benedict and Smash browns. White spot smash browns are the best. The staff is nice.

Pretty bad experience, I ordered 2 chicken Fettuccine for 8: 15pm last night
I arrived right on time just to wait 15 mns, the worst thing is that they only put one order in the bag.

Service was improved this visit but it still is a wait to pay the bill.understaffed perhaps? Windows appeared acceptable so they have been cleaned. All in all a decent visit.good

Went for Turkey dinner special. Service was good, dinner was good. Restaurant ran out of pumpkin pie disappointingly. So we had apple pie a la mode. Pie was pale and too sweet. Nat's lager and pale ale rounded off dinner. I thought the turkey dinner was a little overpriced but I didn't mind as I didn't have to cook the bird. All good.

Ordered Turkey dinner the day before. Went to pick it up only to be told to wait half an hour. After a whole hour, I went to check for any updates and was told my order didn’t exist and they ran out of turkey.

While the food was good the service was not due to being understaffed. While there were three additional staff they were doing little to help the one person serving. Waited a 10 minutes for cream for my coffee. Waited many minutes to get my bill. The restaurant needs a person on site to orchestrate the staff. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon and spending $26 for a disappointing experience.

A very generic restaurant, nothing special. The service was fast and friendly and the food was ok but not amazing. They had some good drink specials. The restaurant is starting to look very run down. The front area is really crowded with the entrance and bar.

Not too busy in a quiet area of town. There is ample parking in the front.

Food was as always reasonable. Service was good.

This White spot could use freshening up look wise. Also the food isnt' quite as nice as other white spots.

Just ordered clubhouse and fries thru skip the dishes. Over 45 minutes and watching tracking making 7 stops before I got my order completely cold. Not even luke warm. They only way I knew that a one point the bread was toasted was because of the color. Definitely NOT worth the money it cost. Order, taxes, tip etc over $33 for cold food that I had to reheat. I will not be ordering again from here.

This is an review for a meal I had this evening at the white spot. The prior review of 2 years ago was not all that complementary but I feel at the time it was very accurate. So this is my subsequent visit to this Fort Street location, I ordered a club sandwich with fries and a coffee. I found the food quite good and hot. So I'll say this is an improvement over my great disappointment of 2 years ago. The staff has completely changed all for the better I must add. I found the service fairly good. The server was attentive. I'll do a follow up review when I visit next Wednesday lunch with a group. White spot I'm glad to see the improvement in food presentation and service.

Well this is my third visit in the last month.the first 2 were satisfactory. One of those was with a group of 10 and the service and food was wonderful.
Tonight however (Dec 1st, 2019) while the food was good (salmon filet burger) the service was slow and unattentive. I was told there was a mixup with a Skip The Dishes Order which occupied his time. Then I asked for the bill at the end of the meal and was told he would be right back but needed to process an order.he never returned. It's a shame customers want to go out and just have a nice meal which isn't cheap these days.and the experience is diminished by poor service. I probably won't return to this location regrettably as it is so close to me.but instead go to the Douglas Street location where I have had a more consistent positive experience.

Terrible value and service. My son had 4 very small waffles for 14 dollars. The service was poor. Has to ask multiple times for water and cutlery. Couldn’t find the waitress when we were done the meal. There’s lots of smaller local restaurants in the area that put this place to shame.

Service was decent. Like every where they are short staffed. Food is always good. Had the double double burger always a great meal.

I had been visiting a loves one in the hospital and realized everything onsite was closed. Even the Tim's! It was 8: 45 pm and this White Spot was closing at 9. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I know the closing-up process takes time. But the team here were happy to seat me and whipped together a burger and salad. I'm very grateful to them for accommodating me. Especially during a stressful time where I'd neglected to eat all day. Much appreciated. Great team. Great service. Thank you!

Very friendly service and the food was wonderful. Wish the servers were as great where I'm from.

OMG talk about lack of customer service training. We waited and waited and waited to be served. This long wait had nothing to do with them being busy but the fact they did want to serve us. When we went in the staff outnumbered the customers and this ratio pretty well stayed the same until we left. When we got the food it was obvious it had been hanging around for a while as it wasnt too warm and as for staff asking if everything was okay, we never saw another member of staff other than those chatting to each other in a corner. For the price the portions were way too small and this isnt a fancy restaurant trust me. We were intending to get some milk shakes but no staff came to see if we wanted anything else. Towards the end of this torturous session a guy and we have to assume the Manager, came twice to a table opposite to were we were sitting and place a single dirty plate or something on a tray, and then repeated it again a few minutes later, obviously a task below his pay grade. In the end when I saw him again I demanded our bill and told him to clear the darn tray. Finally having paid the bill (with zero tip) I went to the toilet. It stank of urine and hadn't been cleaned for quite a while even though the sheet indicated it had, mind you the signatures were too consistent and suggested a load of signatures had been done in one go. Seriously avoid this place it does not deserve your money.

Honestly I have a secret love of whitespot as it makes my kids so darn happy and they actually eat when we go.always went to the downtown or Langford locations.this was our first time at fort st location for family day and WOW what a dump and what terrible food. Can't complain about the drinks or the service but the place is basically falling apart and the kitchen has basically stopped trying.and it's more or less full of old folks that don't seem to have anywhere to go. Why did they shut down the downtown location instead of this one if they weren't going to update it? Real estate is the answer i guess but clearly this location is clearly on the chopping block too. We all felt pretty nauseas after the meal and our kids didn't touch the food.

It is Whitespot. Difficult to master menu due to tomato allergy. Pleasant staff with same menu as expected. Good for lunch as it is closest dining restaurant the Royal Jubilee Hospital.

Wait staff is very nice and the service is good. December 2021 dinner prices are in the $15.99 to $21.99 range. Good happy hour deals. Limited parking in the restaurant lot. Wheelchair accessible.

Our food was delicious & the service good. My husband had a burger with bottomless fries. I had the new smoked salmon & golden beet salad.

I was the same old hungry and lazy. Not a fan of delivery companies, slow and expensive. So phoned in, gave order and right on time I recieved way too much packaging containing good hot food. Friendly young people, good value. I will be back

Food was good, our server was amazing.
Only star removed because half our table was served and done eating before the other half got served, bit we were a big party so totally understandable- however some food for the 2nd half of the table was not hot. Still a great brunch and the staff was super accommodating of our party.

Horrible. The service was awful. We ordered drinks (4 cokes and a coffee) and it took 25 minutes to get them. Luckily we ordered simple drinks because if we were to order cocktails we’d probably still be waiting. We thought that the drink wait was bad but then we ordered our food. Unfortunately the wait for food is long because not only is the chef making your food, but they are also doing some handy work around the restaurant (in the bathroom-yummy), and conducting interviews at the same time! Talk about multi tasking. Took an hour from the time we sat down to when we got out food. The salad was more like a bowl of grass clippings and the lettuce was soggy. The fish and chips were inedible. Not too sure what happened to the fish as one piece was raw, and one was overcooked. Are you supposed to mix the two together? The caesar salad wrap was just as bad, not too sure why/how chicken can look like dog food? The club sandwich had a piece of hard bread (not toasted. Just hard) and one tiny piece of turkey that was processed. Slowest service ever. Bad food. And just all around a bad time. The only upside to eating at this place is that we will not have to purchase laxatives after this experience.

Good food but very unfortunate service; we planned ahead to be here on a lunch break by ordering ahead hours before and were still waiting on our meals at the scheduled time. We then had to ask for our bills four times and walk to the bar counter to ask again, after which time they were repeatedly fumbled with incorrect items. I get that things are busy but we were almost half an hour over the time we need to leave from having to ask for our bills multiple times and not seeing our server for most of the meal. Disappointing experience.

Amazing wait staff, but the quality of the food has gone down in the past year. It is as if they aren't following WS standards, as other WS restaurants have better quality food.

The food was good, but WOW was the service slow. And maybe it was just us, but there was quite an odor the entire time we were there.

The table wasn't clean and I didn't feel I got what I paid for, it's overpriced. Also the coffee is overpriced! Go somewhere!
