White Spot Kitsilano

We've come to this white spot a couple of times and it has been always great. Tidy, big saloon and attentive staff.

Server could read our minds and would appear instantaneously. We had spiked shakes that inspired me to start donating to elementary schools in South America. You can never go wrong with a greasyburger from white spot!

Dined during happy hour and had the Humboldt squid appetizer (savings of $4) and Caesar salad. It was a satisfying portion for lunch. The squid batter was crispy and came with lots of Tzatziki presented on the plate versus in a side container. At a regular price of $16, I would have expected more squid but it was reasonable for $12. Service was adequate and friendly! White Spot continues to be a favourite spot for comfort food. We are disappointed that they no longer have a seniors menu, although our server did say a couple of items like the fish and chips can be made in a smaller portion.

It had been a long time since I ate at White Spot. I was walking around and saw the fish and chips special for $19.99 on a display sign outside. I was hungry and I went in to try it. I was sat right away and the waiter showed up with the menu. I ordered a sprite and the fish and chips special. Waited for a little while and got my food.

The fish was great. Nice and flaky with a slight crust. The taste was good. Two nice pieces good enough to fill my hunger. The rest of the food was average. The fries were cold and cole slaw was tasteless. The fries were only warm where the fish had been. I guess the kitchen put the hot fish on cold fries. The cole slaw seemed to be an afterthought. I only ate some of the cole slaw and a few of the fries.

The service was good but my server only came in a few times to ask if I was okay. And to refill my drink only when I asked.

Overall I rate white spot a 3.5 stars.

Went here for breakfast with my hubby. Ordered the cheesesteak hash, so good. Kellie was amazing and fast. Restaurant was clean as always. We love coming here as service and food are always good.

Don't know how they do it, for a 'diner' type of place the food always seems better than you might expect. I had a bowl, basically of rice and chicken which sounds boring but it was really well designed and prepared. The menu changes every so often and it seems a lot of thought goes into the construction of the different dishes.

Came here for breakie on our first day of vacation visiting from Toronto. Tasty breakfast, and our server was incredibly nice. The atmosphere - it's a Whitespot so was only expected so much.

I look forward to breakfast at my local White Spot on West Broadway I was introduced to White Spot (founded in the 1920's) by a family member I have been there with family and friends many times over the years Its great to see a Canadian owned and run business that is still thriving and I commend White Spot for showing leadership and initiative The food is awesome and abundant, with endless coffee refills and endless "smashed potato" refills as well its a bargain and the hours are great for early morning brekkies Rockin' it since 28, CHRISTINA FERRERO YOU TUBE ARTIST

I attended this location for car hop service on Pirate Pack Day and it didn't disappoint. I was served by an actual pirate whose manners were were more refined. The nostalgia to have your meal in your vehicle on a tray attached to each frot doors. I got the veggie patty and subed in a beef patty as it's fixings were more appealing and it was amazing. The coin was a wee small but service and foood were Rockstar status.

I haven't been in a White Spot since moving to Australia in 86, it was a treat, so familiar, so courteous, and attentive. My Steelhead was devine. Thank you very much.

We were there for the Pirate day.good food and great service. Glad so many people were out to support the event.

I think the restaurant is smart trying arrange family with kids to the outdoor part of the restaurant (kids can be loud and messy you know.) although it was sunny today, outdoor was still very nice with cool breezes passing by
the service was super good and kids enjoyed their pirate pak

After 30 years White Spot is still my favorite family restaurant. Best Caesar Salads. Simple yet tasty

Items missing again We order pick up from this location often, the food is always good. However they tend to miss some items from time to time, like 1 out of 10 orders. Sometimes it’s the ice cream sometimes it’s the drink or dips…Today it’s the coleslaw. Anyways I hope they can double check the orders more carefully:)

Beautiful quaint area on the wharf. Restaurants everywhere you look, the food was very expensive but extremely delicious! Overall it was a nice visit.

Paid for extra cheese? Received 5 crumbs.
Where’s the gravy? You call that a poutine

Services was very slow. We received our order after a table who order after us received theirs first.
Eggs Benedict were served as requested. Only the eggs were remade but not served until everything else was cold.
They comp'd my meal without asking, which nice of them.

While I love a good White Spot burger, I didn't like sitting in the drive in for 15 minutes with my lights on and got no service. I watched two ladies walk by me and take new orders from people who arrived after me, so I left and got a burger down the street

My server was incredibly patient as I needed to take an important phone call. Linda took my order promptly. I had a hearty breakfast with coffee. The food was excellent the service was excellent overall a fantastic experience!

The fried chicken and fried pickles were 5/5. We were a large group of 15 ppl and the service was really slow. The brunch items were mostly good. The burger and the poutine were very average. Overall good experience.

The brunch is really nice, the benedict eggs are very tasty, the eggs and hasbrowns too. The waitress and the hostess we had were kinna rude and gave us the check without asking 1 minute after I took the last of my plate. The environment is nice.

One of the best White Spots to go to. Server Mark really takes care of his guests. Presentation and taste of the food is great.

Have to admit that this location is by far the cream of the crop. Lots of free parking for this restaurant. Friendly staff and the food quality was excellent.
