White Spot Lonsdale

I’ve been to almost all of the White Spots in Vancouver with my gaggle of children and this one is by far the best run. Impeccable service! Will be making this our family regular outing.

I ordered delivery from White Spot and was impressed with the order experience. I got milkshakes as well as food, so I really appreciated the separate bags for these cold and hot items (which is not always the case at other restaurants). Food was warm and as described on the menu. Will be back!

Great service! Great food. You can never go wrong when you go to a white spot. My favorite is the breakfast sandwich. I love those

Service was a little slow but there was a big birthday there at the time so it was understandable. The food was great and our waitress was friendly.

6 of us all had various dishes, mine was seafood fettuccine. All were well received. $160.00, no booze, appetizers or dessert. The white spot isn't getting any cheaper but it's a good spot for a family lunch as everyone can get what they want.

Everytime I order food through doordash and pay extra fees for additional items like cheese sauce, the store keeps forgetting it. This is a constant issue. If it was free I would understand but I pay for those additional items. Food is good, service needs to stay on top and take accountability.

Since it wasn't a busy time, I felt that I could relax and stay as long as I wanted. New Pulled Pork Macaroni and Cheese with a salad was delicious, as was my next visit for Nat's Hearty Breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausages, half waffle and fruit

Ordered from uber and paid $14 for 6 small pieces of crispy coconut prawn. Way overpriced. Nothing special.

The waitress only came to our table three times and it was really slow she didn't even ask how our food was until another worker came and asked us and that was when we were finished eating! This is the second worse experience I've had at white spot... Hopefully next time when I go to this one our waitress would be a lot better

What a great first order. Sent one less piece of fish and sauce ruining the packaging and soggy fries.

Not good quality burgers compared to their prices! The fries were also awful. Couldn't eat them at all.

Ordered the Louisiana chicken sandwich for take out. The “fried chicken” was non existent. The sandwich consisted of pieces of burnt breading. Literally inedible. Very disappointed.

The food was just okay, I ordered the famous White Spot burger on a lettuce wrap. The burger came out with no pickles, tomatoes just meat and lettuce. The fries were all super tiny, like offcuts. The service wasn't great either. I've been to a number of White Spots over the years, most have been a better experience than this one which is the only reason for an extra star.

I worked here and the kitchen is outright disgusting and not managed properly. They fired me for no reason at all. I'll never eat here again.

This is my go to place to eat when I am starving and know the food is reliable. I had their usual fish burger with salad. If you have an aversion to gluten or bread, ask to have the burger wrapped in lettuce. A bit messy but worth it. There are other food choices but if you’re a legendary burger fan, go for it!

With the times of inflation, consider their happy hour from 2 – 5 pm and after 8 pm every day. A good selection of beer, bellinis’ or wine. There’s 3 categories of various appies at $6, $8, $10. They also have daily drink specials depending on the day of the week such as ‘Tapped Tuesdays’ - $1 off Nat’s on Tap. Regardless you can’t go wrong at any White Spot. Service was prompt and efficient.

Five of us went for a birthday breakfast. Each one of us placed a different order and we were all disappointed. Our server was outright rude and very abrupt. No smiles, just threw the food on the table. She was short and probably in her 50"s. Can't remember her name but her mom's name is Ann. She yelled at the 2 year old that was with us and made him cry. So sad, it used to be a good restaurant.

The food was ok, but the Beef Dip was dry. Most of the plates missed something. Not the best White Spot

Excellent place to have a family brunch or a friend's hanging out. They are always and forever the best customer service and food is amazing here.

Service is fantastic. You can tell that the staff care about the customers experience, and that the regulars are treated like friends.

Food is exactly what you'd expect from a Whitespot: GFS/Sysco stuff heated up. It's not bad, just expensive for what it is. Great for a family, not so much for me.

Known as the worst whitespot it's a meme, if your table isn't a little dirty like someone wiped it down with 1 sheet of toilet paper you're not getting the full experience. Staff is a gamble, will you get the new attentive server or the jaded lifer who looks like they want to kill you?

It's a good restaurant but as the name sounds, it's filled with white people and all the staff are Caucasian too, for the world we are living-in right now, it's not pleasant despite the fact North America developed on a very racist culture.

Food was pretty darn good.i just hate it when my burger comes with the pickle on the bun.pickle juice buns yuck but the rest of it was outstanding

Food was good, came quickly, and the host is a delight, he was super welcoming and accommodating.

Curb side pickup ordering is so easy on their website. And the food delivery is fast! And there food is great quality, yummy & good sized portions for the value.

Not quite as busy or fun as it used to be, and our burgs barely had any triple-O sauce, but the staff are TRYING.

We placed an order with Door Dash and when it arrived my milkshake and French fries were missing. My husband called the restaurant and Roanne (the restaurant GM) personally delivered the missing items. She absolutely made our night and we were blown away by the effort she made to make sure we had a great experience. Thank you Roanne!

I can't actually rate the food quality because I never got the chance to try it - for the first time, ordered delivery from here, and the driver brought the fries only and none of the meals - after waiting well over an hour for food that was supposed to arrive within 45 minutes. When calling to inquire - within moments of discovering this - were told the bags of meals were forgotten at the restaurant and we could come pick it up if we wanted. What service! Ruined a birthday party - and made us scramble to figure out another plan for dinner at the last moment while everyone was beyond hungry after waiting so long for food that never showed up. Horrendous service.

I went there last night around 7 with some family members and I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the young fellow who was serving us. It seemed like he was the only one working in our section, and he did with grace, ease and very good customer service. Not sure if you are short of staff, but this fellow looked like he could have been on roller skates he was so fast! He is tall and dark (cannot tell anything else because of the mask) and I hope he is getting a really good paycheque for the amazing work he is doing

We were headed home from North Van, but traffic was (as usual) horrible on the cut so we popped into White Spot for a bite. It was 630pm on a weekday, shortly after covid restrictions were lifted, but we were seated right away in full view of the hockey game. The gentleman serving us was attentive without being bothersome; the drinks came quickly and the food shortly after. It was a quick bite to eat but the food, service and prices were top notch.

I am a Doordash driver. You guys always have the orders ready to go and the staff are so respectful and patient

I went there to pick up the foods that were ordered by a customer. Only one lady was walking around and talk to customers. However, she ignored me and did not ask me why I'm there. It is sad to see how they treat people in an unprofessional manner. I hope they will learn how to treat everyone equally and no room for discrimination here in Canada.

Kid was happy with his pirate pack and adults happy with happy hour drink and snacks as well as signature burger. Taste was great. Lost one star only because the burger was a little cold when it arrived.

Went to walk around the area planning to return for lunch. We returned in 20min only to find the restaurant had called someone in to tow our car. There were MANY empty parking spots nearby. Decided to visit another restaurant instead. This white spot will not be getting my business.

The service was great and the food always delicious. White Spot on Lonsdale Ave is a great way to enjoy a casual dining experience.

The staff were friendly and efficient. It was clean and tables were well spread out due to the pandemic. The food was yummy.

The food was eehh ok (but dont order their teriyaki chicken: they used teriyaki marinade to pour over rice ans chicken breast.) but the waiter 's behavior was outrageous! He commented that my daughter's portions was too big for her, suggested that the food was better that a home cooking (haha), asked us about feedback and left without waiting a second for an answer. And behaved offended when we asked for more fries (they were bottomlesa for goodness sake) i couldn't believe that was happening in the restaurant, really: (

Usually we’d crave White Spot, but the fries were honestly pretty bad and not up to their standards. Ordered a whole extra side of them so not so happy.
Fish burger didn’t feel too fresh either.maybe try a different day or location? Could be the staff that day, not sure.but not really worth what we paid today

I tried their new Turkey Jack burger and it was really bad so I only ate fries and greens with only 2 bites of my burger but the host was super nice.
He came to me a couple of times asking for my feedback and then asking how they can make it right which I said I was okay however at the end they removed my meal from my bill with an apology.

This is a true customer service you want to be offered.

We come for lunch with our kiddo, I think Lonsdale is fav WS on the north shore! John rocks as does the manager. If they could only fix the tables so they don’t wobble LOL. I tried the turkey burger special, it was great but needed more OOMPH, likely as the the arugula wasn’t sharp.

This place ranks 1st in having the rudest and the most forward staff/waitresses of all the restaurants I have gone in vancouver and north shore. As an example, I ordered food online and I was given a pick up time. I showed up at the time I was given, the waitress told me the food is not ready yet. So I told them i would be back in 20 mins and they accepted. I went back in 20 mins and asked for my order. The waitress said it is not ready. I told her that this order must have been ready 20 mins ago. When I said that the rude waitress turned back and told me “ I said it is not ready means it is not ready. What the hell you wanna do “. I was soooo shocked as I have never had any experience like that before in any restaurant. I think the only thing you could ever be ranked 1st is in being super unbelievably rude and disrespectful.

If you respect yourself, never buy anything from this branch. Businesses like this need to go down and learn the only thing that matters is customer satisfaction and nothing else. If I could give you Zero star I definitely would, period.

Got ribs, zoo sticks, bacon cheese burger and mac n cheese pirate pack for takeout yesterday and order was not up to the usual. Hardly any triple o on the burger (so dry), forgot the zoo sauce and no pickle.ribs were good though! Probably order from park and tilford instead next time. Maybe lonsdale is low on sauce these days. I usually love their burgers.

The food is really good for the price. There is lots of different food so there's something for everybody.

This White spot location has been here forever. Waiter was friendly and always asked if everything was ok. Refill of fries and pop were appreciated. The heating system was not functioning as it was blowing a cold air.on us. We had to wear our.winter jackets. Just a bit to chilli for us. Food was good as always.

Only vegan option on the breakfast menu is oatmeal with quinoa for $10 or toast, so I ate elsewhere.

Always choose for White Spot when I feel like a good meal but I do not want to pay a lot. All four North Shore locations are great. The Pemberton location is probably the least busy and therefore overall the best service. The Park and Tilford is by far the busiest. The Lonsdale location has the least parking. I have also found they are more likely to burn the fries and mess up to go orders.

If you are ordering pickup, order online they make fewer mistakes as compared to phoning 310SPOT. It is not a bad idea to open the bag and double-checking everything.
It shouldn't be like this but it is.

I recommend the Legendary platter with extra triple o sauce if you are going for dinner or lunch - Milkshakes pretty good too. They also have unlimited fries and they are excellent.

White Spot also has the best breakfast on the Northshore (North Van and West Van). Everything is good. My wife always gets the egg, Benedict. The coffee is dinner style (weak) and they have free refills.

So sometimes the food is great and other times not so much. I usually order take out and have found the same food to inconsistent.

This was the best bacon cheddar bigger burger I ever had. It made up for the fact it took awhile to take our order.

Pricey for Breakfast, the food is good but same quality can be found at other restaurants for less money.

Always come here during Christmas with the family as a tradition - not this location in particular but White Spot generally. Always order the Double Double burger with fries. Heavy meal but always worth it! Recommend.

Service is slow, and more work to deal with than the food is worth. Ordering online is painful: the majority of the time the order is wrong and nobody bothers to check what's in the bag so you have to do it yourself. Any special instructions are followed about half the time (if you're lucky), and even then it's unlikely they'll do whatever was asked right. Fries are often undercooked to the point where you're basically eating warmed potato. Certainly will not be my restaurant of choice in the future.

This is not fine dining. It is however a place that our family is still happy to go to after all these years. You always know what to expect. Good food that is consistent no matter which white spot you go to.

It's a cozy place. The food as always is good. The service sometimes could take a little longer than usual. I highly recommend booking a table in advance.

The server was really personable and knew his customers well. He made the experience lovely. The food was good, and the milkshake was excellent.

The server was fantastic, polite and knowledgeable. Food was good and it was a nice cap to a remembrance day brunch after the ceremony. The eggs Benedict was enjoyable, I would order it again.

The usually comfortable experience, however, host needs to be around. Last couple of times the place relatively empty but waiting for someone to attend to waiting patrons. Started off frustrating

Love this place! First meal whenever I returned from living and working in five different provinces. Now I've been home for 2 years and still love it. Great staff and service!:)

A great location with a decent parking lot. Been here many times, but sadly. The last few times we've been served by, less than enthusiastic servers. This last time, our waitress took far too long to ask us for our drink order, then took forever to bring us the drinks & then, although we were the only ones in her area, we had to wave at her to come & take our meal orders. The food is always good, no issue there at all.
