White Spot Marine & Byrne

So my family took me out for my birthday lunch today. There was no choice on the birthday desert. Go to Cactus or Brownes for a better choice for a free birthday dessert!

One of the better White Spots. Lots of parking. Nice atmosphere. Good wait staff. Cooks are fantastic.

Maybe I came on a wrong day but I wasn't very impressed with the service and the food. It seemed like this location was understaffed, took us a long time to even get our waters! Didn't seem like the waitress was very attentive. Didn't ask us how things are tasting. She took our orders and ran off, I was barely able to ask her questions about the menu regarding a food allergy.

As for the food, the donburi rice bowl was a bit dry and bland. Broccoli was raw.

We had an awesome experience with excellent customer service.

For the appetiser, we tried Chicken with honey mustard.

We tried the Fish and Chips and BC Chicken burger. Both came with coleslaw salad, fries and dipping.
We also tried Zoo Stick - Zuchchini sticks. It was filling that made our tummy to fill so quick.

Food was hot, fresh and great in portion. Loved our visit!

Very good service. Food was okay but not as good as the price inferred. It was much better before.

Too noisy. Noise reduction is in order.

I have had great experiences at this location. Lived that during Covid the pattio was available. Servers are nice. Food so far has always been good at this location.

It’s a nice place. Foods were yummy but service wasn’t enough honestly. She put the receipt before we ask and didn’t refill the coffee. We had to look for her and ask for refill. Thank you anyway.

Overall I like the service of White spot they provide outstanding service and food, in regards to the Customer Service, some of the employees need more training, the customers should receive the same behaviour without consideration of who is driver and who is customer, as a Uber eat driver my today’s experience in regards to the customer service of was not excellent.

Nice family friendly restaurant to enjoy great food with amazing courteous and friendly staff. We went there to celebrate a birthday and everyone eating at the moment sing with us and wished my daughter a happy birthday.

We always get seated right away. Friendly staff and reasonably priced food. Fairly quick service overall

Food was cold when it got to us and the brussel sprouts were very greasy, but it was busy. The atmosphere was nice and service was good.

Kudos to Nelson Andrade Assistant Manger at WhiteSpot Market Crossing in Burnaby! He is what a manager should be, amiable, accommodating, attentive to customer's needs and quick to respond. We had a wonderful dinner last night and appreciate his thoughtfulness. There should be more restaurant managers like him.

So this place is also a trial kitchen or whatever for other branches of White Spot. The staff here were awesome and the restaurant was perfectly clean. If you're unfamiliar with it, White Spot is a chain that runs in BC and also a little bit in Alberta. A "family friendly" sort of place.

So much fun went for my hubbies birthday dinner had the chicken Alfredo, salmon burger and new York steak meals. Everything was delicious better than expected. The service was outstanding, friendly and willing to make adjustments. Definitely going again.

Fairly small location, was inside, so not sure on the patio size. Went on a Thursday evening, quite busy, had a 15 minute wait to get seated. Waitress (Zoey) was attentive, and frequently checking up on our table.

This location went above and beyond with our to go order. Everything was packaged seperate and exactly as requested. Food was cooked to perfection. And they even threw in a couple of complimentary desserts to say thank you for a larger order. Very impressed! Good Job Market Crossing! And Thank You! We will be back!

Ordered an expensive salad with help from the waitress. It has some ingredients very hard to chew and the salmon was cooked like a piece of wood. Clam chowder was not cooked regular way. It’s like tomato soup with clams. The food is not worth the price. Not recommended.

Great food, great service and I recommend this white spot over the one at Gilmore in Burnaby any day, our server Christina was efficient, friendly, helpful and very polite.

For the most part a white spot is a white spot, all pretty much the same. Good service here, lots of parking, and the standard good food you expect.

I never had any disappointment with the foods at White Spot. Their staffs there are also pretty friendly and attentive. However, the price is higher than most, quantity wise (here is a hope they pay their workers handsomely), and the customers' noise there is sometimes unbearable. I know they deserve 4 stars, but then I rather go to Boston Pizza, which I also give 4 stars rating

Can't last a few weeks without my White Spot mushroom burger fix. Love this location, nice decor, and service, prompt and friendly.

Personally I think this is the best whitespot in town. All the staff are super friendly. The resturant is super clean and enjoyable.

Great selection of books until the floorwalkers follow you around like you're a thief peeking around corners and really kills your experience in the store it makes you not even wanting to buy a book

We ordered a seafood fetuchini in creamy rose very very very delicious and a turkey dinner the turkey was a little bit dry and a little bit bland but over all very good, lovely dinner great portions and very good service! Photo I'll gonna upload it later!

White Spot always delivers on quality food. I know they emphasize this internally and makes for high quality standards throughout their franchises.

Often go here for dinner, but went and enjoyed breakfast this morning with some friends. I had eggs benny and was delicious. Dinner is always great.

We went to this location during a somewhat busy lunch time, but the staff were pretty efficient in seating us promptly. Even the food came out quickly. Great service

Remarkably good for a full Saturday evening! All dishes ordered lived up to their billing (and photos!) in the menu and the shrimp and avocado flatbread was soooo tasty! Actually, it all was! The chef/s at this white spot location need props for their quality control and also our server was top notch. Well done White Spot for keeping those standards high (ok, no foodie pics here, but we also didn't have to wait very long to get served!)

I went here with my family on June 29th and the experience was satisfying. We ordered Clubhouse ($15.99), Seafood fettuccine ($19.99) and Full-Rack of Ribs ($26.49) to share and the food was great. Clubhouse and Seafood Fettuccine were pretty good we all liked it. Ribs didn't have much meat, but had more bones and the meats were kind of dry. Fries were good.

Service was fast and friendly. White Spot is definitely the place for family dinner. It also has plentiful of seating spaces and the restaurant is clean as well. I like bottomless fries and milkshakes refill (not sure if they still have this). My friend C and I used to be a milkshake addict whenever we went to White Spot.

Great service from all the staff and a friendly atmosphere! I once had a small
issue with the food and when I told the waitress the manager herself came over to apologize and offer the customary replacement. Never had a bad experience since!

We eat there weekly. The rare couple of times that things were not perfect, we have been comp’d the meal. Once a waiter handed a far too hot plate to ny little one, and 6 of us ate free.

Got really sick eating here. Dirty utensils, soap floating in my water plus the chicken was under cooked. Worst customer service. This place is a joke. 0/5 stars #UnProfessional

Utensils were stained, water had soap floating on edges, and chicken strips were raw. If you want food poisoning, come here.

2nd time we have ordered from here from skip the dishes. Me and my wife order simple stuff but they can't even figure it out. They gave us regular fries even when we paid for sweet potato fries and when we finally got them the 2nd time we ordered the portion size was terrible. Id stay away from this restaurant since they can't follow simple requests.your better off going somewhere else or drive and pick it up yourself. Very unsatisfied customers

The food was good with better than average service. Good car parking although there were no accomodations for bicycles even though I saw 11 customers come in carrying bicycle helmets throughout our meal. One couple left. A couple of bike racks would be of great benefit.

At this location, is the only few where they have tooth picks. Strange.

Great food and service. They did a very good job of making a special order meal and then evenly splitting it for two.

Went here for a breakfast meeting. The place is very clean and the food was great. The waitress was very nice but did not pay much attention to us.

White Spot is a Western Canadian institution. Solid family-friendly dining, nice decor, and open for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Like a very upscale Denny's. This location is in the Market Crossing retail strip and the mall in general can be very difficult to find a parking stall in during peak hours. Handy though if you also need to pick groceries or do other shopping in the complex. Try the clubhouse sandwich - one of the best in the city!

Once of the better White spot restaurants locations. Spacious layout, good service. Can get crowded at peak hours.

Kind of pricey but still like their food enough to spend that much. Like the containers they supply to take food home also.

So disappointing. Ordered from skip the dishes and was expected to wait over 2 hours from a place that usually takes a 15 minute drive.

Food is always great, sat on the patio which was beautiful. It got cold but they fired up the heater which helped, not bad for early May

This is probably one of the better decorated White Spots in town. The dining area is spacious and the atmosphere relaxing. I normally get fish and chips or the legendary burger, but I tried the tacos this time around. What it lacks in size, it makes up in flavour.

One of my favourite white spots to go to in the lower mainland. Exceptional service and very friendly staff. Food is delivered in a timely manner. Great easy to access location. Delicious food. Would highly recommend.

Recently had brunch here and didn’t expect to see buttermilk waffles stuffed with bacon among other things. The prices have gone up; expect to pay around or over $20 for breakfast and coffee per person. Still, Whitespot is a staple, and this location in particular takes reservations. Anything potato is refillable (hash browns, smashbrowns, and fries), but you probably already knew that.
