White Spot Metrotown

Had to go here for lunch today as its mom's fave and its mom's birthday. Beef Dip, chicken broccoli bake and hummus plate were great but if someone orders a bowl of soup and the bowl is still full when cleared from the table, that item should be taken off the bill. Your clam chowder today was horrible. One spoonful was enough.

Only my second trip to B. C. We stayed at the Best Western across the street. My wife and I wanted to avoid driving for dinner after being in the car for 6 hours, so we walked around town. After being denied service at a Chinese restaurant. Certainly not because of racial profiling *cough*. We found a nice place to eat at "White" Spot. We felt welcome here as the name of the restaurant suggested. The food was terrific. Ordered a Louisiana fried chicken sandwich with Poutine. Poutine was on my checklist for foods I wanted to eat before going back to the states. It was delicious! For desert, a blueberry topped cheesecake and vanilla ice cream. Our server was friendly and the menu was full of goodies.

I would like to vote 0 star if there is an option. The cutleries looking unsanitary, and not provided to everyone till we were asking for. The Chicken Cobb Salad served without avocado and chicken was in one piece. The explanation from the servant was they ran out of soft avocado. I don’t know whether I was too lucky or it’s happened here pretty often. I hope they could tell the customer in advance instead of throwing the explanation after the fact. The servant advised he told the kitchen before but apparently nothing improved.

We went here as a group with a senior and two young children. We were seated in a quiet section of the restaurant but our server took a very long time to take our order and the kitchen took even longer to send the food out.

I've been to this location before and this was not the usual service at this location.

I was there last week I notice the way they do the Cleaning the tables bucket with water.no spray used the same water on the bucket for the next table.i saw the girl come to our table to take our order.never saw the girl to wash her hand very disappointed we still with the virus

Great food& the place was very clean & followed all Covid-19 protocols when guests enter.

My friend and I went to this place, after 10 minute server just saw us! When we wanted to order, he was in rush! We had to order so fast! Also Fries was so leaky and stale!

Food was good. The orders room a long time. Finally get it and one dish was cold. Then had to wait another 20 min. They were very nice with taking my boyfriend's order off the bill. They handled situation very nicely.

Went for lunch with family. The place was neat and clean. Great customer service. The food was served warm and was very delicious. Loved the seafood pasta. Definitely going to come back.

Not sure why they have 4 star. I could give -5 star.so disappointed.no server available.food was delay for hours.
And in front of me there was 6 delivery guys look frustrated.they was waiting for hours.
They should change name I never saw white spot brand operation this much careless.
I try two times because white spot is my favorite and it's near by my house.

Well we went to order certain things and it didn't come in so there was a lot of things that weren't on the menu a week ago

I always love dining in this restaurant. Portions are still big which I love. Si many choices and yummy.

Long wait for taking out. They are always delaying at least 30-40 minutes.
I used to order from doordash and the same issue my driver used to wait for 30-40 minutes.

Today no one driver was ready to deliver my order from them that's the reason I went to pick up and find out why food is always delay from that restaurant only.

I went here with a friend on July 26th Monday. A friend wanted to have dinner so we agreed going here.

We ordered Beef Dip ($17.79) and the Legendary Burger ($14.99) they were good. Friend enjoyed the Legendary Burger and I liked my Beef Dip. I find it that beef dip sauce should've been thicker than having it watery.

Service was fast. Our server helped us giving refill for the fries. Air con was working well just that we felt cold. The server apologized about how she couldn't increase the temperature. It was a wonderful dining experience again.

I went for breakfast after eighteen months. I kind of didn't like what I get for breakfast. The service was not the same as my last visit. The breakfast I ordered was not same as before. There were very few selection, I decided to have my breakfast anyway but I didn't enjoy. I don't know if I decide to go back again. Sorry for this comment, hope to see you improve.

Unfortunately for tonight's meal, we had stale macaroni to go with a mac&cheese meal that was lacking in cheese. The portion was not very sufficient either and it was for a 9 yr.old boy. Fortunately the soft fries saved the meal. We are regulars and trying to support one of our local favorites but tonight was disappointing.

Aside from the gracious staff and the novelty of restauranting for the first time in a year, the site-specific compliment I have is that the patio's music volume was perfect. Even before they outlawed smiling and breathing and reading lips, finding a patio with the right music volume was like finding a needle in a.uh.someplace needles were rare.had a word for that in the olden days.never mind.

Anyway, the volume was perfect that's for sure.

Always an issue at this location! Stopped coming for years. The moment I come back, there's issues. They gave me a gift certificate to show me they can do it right.they messed up again! I'm talking about items missing from the order, cold food and horrible portions.

Food was great, service was not as good as I'd normally see in a White Spot. Admittedly the table location was a little weird. We were sitting out of the way, and not easy for the server to see. So the first time I has to go check on him to make sure he knew we needed him SHOULD have been enough of a reminder. Unfortunately, I had to go get him for drinks, when we were ready to order, when I wanted some ketchup, when we needed more water, and the bill. They seemed to be well staffed and not too busy. Not sure if the issue was more visibility of our table, or the guy? Food was still good.

Friendly staff, but the food was definitely not up to standards. But it is expected from whitespot.

Rustic is what i would call it. Whitespot has always been one of my favorite comfort foods places to go to. I have never been to this particular location, but I decided to try it. And it did not disappoint. I had the halibut and prawns and it was cooked to perfection. Great service and the general manager even came out to ask how everything was, great experience over all. Would return again soon.

The food was too greasy, cheap white buns (resembles fast food instead of restaurant food).
The server was not attentive (waited about 30 minutes when we were ready to pay and leave, was never asked if we wanted to refill bottomless items).
Beer there is cheap and ok, they also bring your kids some crayons and paper.

A little ways away from Metrotown. Friendly staff. Great service. Went there for lunch and with a restaurant full of customers I received my food in a reasonable time. It was hot and everything was cooked properly. The taste is just like any other white spot restaurant. Visit here if you are looking for burgers nearby Metrotown do check them out.

The service is normal as expected from a chain family restaurant. The food was really mediocre. The salmon was overcooked and dry. The salad dressing lacked flavour. The blueberry milkshake is good. The bartender was a little off that night, throwing cups into the sink loudly.

Good desserts and service. Nice clean location however the men's bathroom needed attention. 4 star if bathroom was clean.

Service and food was good even at the busy dinner period. There are many options to add like onion rings, zucchini sticks, sweet potato fries.

We had excellent family time. Everything was really good. Erin was so kind to us! She has a really good service.

It's a White Spot, so not really an amazing culinary experience. However, as far as White Spot goes, the food was reasonable, the service was good and the restaurant was clean.
If I had a hankering for this sort of place, I would go back.

Visited with a large group and the staff was accommodating and kind. We all were able to sit together and eat.

We were visiting from out of town and this was one of the local restaurants. We liked it so much we went back 4 times. Each time was as good as the last. The staff was great and the food and selection was perfect.

Kind staff, quiet environment. Great for families and small groups. I highly recommend the bigger burgers!

Typical corporate restaurant, don't have much luck with them.
Prefer franchise locations, much better service.

Standard Whitespot chain. The food is made well and there are lots of options. The service is spotty, sometimes it is amazing, and sometimes it is a little rough. What you can depend on is the pirate pack is always available for kids!

No wait time, food was good and the hospitality was great. No complaints at all, highly recommended!

We went during breakfast time. I'll still prefer to go for lunch or dinner. Breakfast menu - too heavy- high carbs and high fat and high cholesterol. Once in a lifetime is enough - the calories I ate for this meal alone might be equivalent of a whole day's volume. The server.erm.very poor service. You can tell he didn't enjoy his job.

Definitely recommend the bacon cheddar bigger burger. Great taste. The service was great at this particular location. Busy area so I assume business is always booming.

Wait to be seated isn't long. Food doesn't take long either. Service is pretty good, very accommodating. But it seems like the AC is on full blast 24/7.

Positive blend of screaming babies and adult diapers during the breakfast hours on any given weekend. It's a family restaurant so that is to be somewhat expected. Great service though, and the food is consistent. Gotta love that corporate consistency.

Service at this location is sporatic many times we have been there for a meal alot of the times our meals come with cold fries whether its a burger or clubhouse.
Servers are not very attentive some never ask hows the food or can I refill your coffee.
The menue needs revamping appitizers are the worst with only four items to pick from.
The best soup is the Tai Curry very tasty.
The best White Spot location is the Station Square on Marine Dr.

Had different food other than burgers was great flavor cauliflower and chick pea curry and seafood linguini wow really really good wash down with a nat Bailey pale ale great night simply must try
