Great servers. The kids are crazy for pirate packs. I have a problem with the milk shakes.they are way too good.

Went in for lunch and was seated right away! Service was fast and prompt! My waiter was awesome! Didn't know breakfast was served till 2pm. The options he gave me with my breakfast was great, had a bit of everything. This is one of the better white spots I've been to.

Sorry to change my review but, My son and i made it a traditional Saturday that we come in for Breakfast Hash. We waited 50 mins today, Nobody seemed to care we were waiting so long. Quite annoying to be honest. We sat there and watched a family of 4 come in and sit for 15 mins and they all got there Burgers and Fries. They had almost finished and we still hadnt got ours. Sorry but we wont be coming back anymore. Its a shame because we love the food.

These are minus stars. Right from the onset, table filthy and had to ask for it to be wiped, was set with new cutlery. Kid sighed and just wiped the filth onto the bench. Food arrives eggs way undercooked send entire meal back so I can enjoy everything together and come back still undercooked. They didn't have the decency to make fresh toast because I could've made bread crumbs out of the lightly toasted bread. Same hash browns, they were cold. I've eaten at WS for 50 plus years and it was brutally disgusting, slimy S&P shakers, dirty menus. WHITE SPOT DO BETTER. Still tipped the absolute most useless server I've ever had.

This is a good option for basic food. Lots of alternatives and a few options for kids menu.

We visited as a large party of 9 as visiting from Scotland. We had an amazing visit and our server was excellent, she had remembered my parents from last time and went over and above to make sure everyone was happy and well catered for. We also thank her for our T Shirts everyone was very pleased! We only had one issue with one dish but this was swiftly corrected and apologies made. Would deffo recommend visiting here when your in the area.

Great burger and quesadilla, great service. Being immune compromised, was very happy they seated us at an out-of-the way table.

It had been a while since I had been to this White Spot location with my family and yet our server Marci remembered me! Someone else mentioned that "the servers are always lovely and treat you like part of their family" and that was definitely our experience. Marci was so friendly and took such good care of us. There was a wait to be seated but well worth it, and the hosts did their best to accommodate.

The food was delicious - the hardest part was choosing - they have the usual favourites but also some new choices added to the menu as well. In the end I had to go with my favourite Seafood Fettucine - it is so delicious and loaded with scallops, prawns and clams - I forgot to take a photo before eating it! Hubby had the Chicken & Mushroom Fettucine Alfredo, others had the Chicken Strips, we shared Sweet Potato fries and Humboldt Squid (subbed tzatziki for tartar sauce - soooo good!).

It is such a shame that every restaurant is short-staffed these days, so the staff that are working are so stretched and run off their feet - it is so important to understand this and have patience. Don't go if you are in a hurry and expect fast service - it's just not going to be possible. And please be kind to the staff they are doing the best they can under difficult circumstances.

I've had good and bad experiences here.
Once I got home and they had given me a veggie burger instead of my beef burger, which ruined the dinner but they made it up with a free meal so that was nice. Mistakes happen, and they work with you to try and make things better, that's what matters! Please keep up the hard work!

It's a white spot. Everyone was super nice to my polycule of 4 queer girls. Can't complain:)

We always leave this place happy. Service is always important to us and so we appreciate Whitespot mostly for this reason. We just left with a party of 13 and it was perfect. Thanks again Whitespot. (we had the same server that we’ve had many times and she was great as usual. I believe her name was Marci, but I’m not positive.)

I really like the white experience. Hahaha my favorite part is that you can order from your car and they bring you the food in an special car table (I dont know to describe it). Hamburgers are really good (I always ask extra pickles). The restaurant inside is really pretty and they have sport bar.
The only thing I need is jalapeños for my burgers hahaha

Food was good and prices were fair.
Wasn't crowd but still wait a little long for our food.
My fish was on the small side but was good; no hard crust, very fresh but my coleslaw was a bit tasteless.
Coconut prawns were my favorite, absolutely perfect and the sauce was so good too

Been coming to the white spot for as long as I can remember and as long as I can remember the customer service has been top notch. But I would like to mention the outstanding customer service I get from Diane, if I am with either one of my sons I make a point of sitting in her section. She always makes a fuss over them, remembers their names and always has a pocket full of stickers. It keep our family coming back time and time again.

We came here for a quick lunch as we knew the food was reliable. They didn’t disappoint as we all gobbled up our food after a day of moving. We ordered the seafood fettuccine, beef dip & avocado impossible burger. The avocado burger was a nice change & wouldn’t hesitate to order it again. With all burgers you can choose to have it wrapped in lettuce instead of the bun. There’s gluten free past too.

Service was decent considering they were busy & short staffed. Great experience!

Both burgers were completely raw and pink inside, manager was absolutely horrible to work with. After saying I wanted my meal re-made, I came all the way back down where she tried to make me feel dumb and say I didnt want my food re-made? Had to wait another 20 minutes on-top of already picking up my raw food and taking it all the way home. A free burger on my next visit is all they would give me.but why would I ever want to come back here?
Horrible experience, always have bad experiences at this location. After talking with the manger, I now see why, horrible management, no quality control or customer service. Go to any other white spot in North Van, way nicer staff and consistent food.

Burgers are not really all they are hyped up to be. The food was good, service was great and quick overall a decent spot

We went on Father's day, it was very busy. The staff worked extremely hard to make our wait for seating short. Once seated they kept us served and entertained until they food came, which was well prepared and served.

Took my friends there for lunch on Wednesday and the service was awesome. Fellow had at least 4 tables and treated all of us like we were his friends. Food was excellent and the price was very fair.

I called restaurant and talked to the manager regarding complain about food I had last night.
She had attitude and telling me, I should have call last night and complain, not today because it’s too late to get benefits.
I am doing a favour calling you and giving you a heads up about your kitchen, and you telling me its no point.
Also, she claimed that they had no complain over the fettuccini, so my complain is not good enough to take it seriously. She managed hardly to apologize, and saying she is leaving me something, so I can pick it up. But lady I am not looking for getting benefit from you.watch out your kitchen and put your attitude for yourself, not customers.

The place was fairly packed, and it was a 5 minute wait to be seated which is great!

What is not great is waiting 40 minutes from the time of ordering for a simple burger and cheesesteak hash to show up on for the fries to taste and feel like they were sitting on the counter for a few days, the burger to be cold, and the cheesesteak hash to be barely room temperature.

I have eaten here many times, but I have never received food service this poor. Must be an off day. Usually food is great, stuff is prompt and friendly, and I leave satisfied.

All good at the SPOT.food is always good staff is terrific. The menu prices are getting a little steep for a family restaurant. Average entree is now $20.00. I love The Spot

Great whitespot! Long term staff know what they are doing. They are fast and the food is fresh and delicious. Ready for the family and just friendly staff overall.

Just want to thank all the staff. We go to this location probably 3 times a week over the years and they all have become family. Always fun and happy.

Needs better signs to let people know that take out pick up is behind the building, in the back entrance.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, coming to check if we needed anything at perfect intervals. The food was delicious, hot and fresh out of the kitchen. Went for breakfast with my dad, menu is pretty limited for breakfast but understandable with everything that is going on.

The service was awesome. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was great. Everything was as it is suppose to be for a dining experience.

My parents and son and I used to love this White Spot, as it offered a meal for everyone and friendly service. White Spot's vegetarian offerings have been cut to very few options, however, so we've not been coming as often. We made an exception for Pirate Pak Day, this year, as my son is six, and his review is: "It was horrible. No pirate hats, no adult pirate ships, no pirate words, nothing. " No pirate servers, either. Not a single, "Shiver me timbers, " to be heard. And the special blueberry pie-looking thing is just a load of blueberries thrown into a pie shell and topped with whipped cream. They're not bad, but White Spot is just dialing it in, now. If they were playing in the old Smythe Division, they'd be sitting below the L. A. Kings.

Fast and friendly server. Our food was fresh and hot. The zoo sticks were delicious as well as the clubhouse with fresh multi grain bread and a side of yam fries. The server recommended the Bellini happy hour special, which we got. After a few sips we realized it was a little off. We told him and he apologized and got us a different flavour, which was much better. He was very accommodating to us. Would definitely return to this location.

It was very busy in the restaurant but we were seated right away and our server was there to take our order within minutes. Breakfast came quickly and was delicious although kind of stingy on the panfried potatoes. All in all a great experience

Nice location of the chain. Friendly service.
Unfortunately the aircon was broken when we visited during the record breaking heatwave of June 2021, and the outside seating was on the mall parking lot exit route. But it was still a pleasant experience.

Until they have a little more clean food dish's other than the 3 that they have now that's when I'll rate a 5 star cause that's what' the staff and floor management deserve's for there hard and decated work sorry guys not your problem it's corporate and if one of you big wigs ever read this post you ought to take a good look at what's happening out there as in clean foods ie vegan! C ya!

My mom came here with my 9-year old sister and ordered two adult meals and two kids meals. The server asked for the choice in sides and drinks for both the kids meals. The server then proceeded to only bring the kids entrees, which was missing the fries and drink. When my mom inquired why, the server said that she was trying to take advantage of the system. This would have been nice to explain before she ordered the two meals for my sister. My mom was nice enough to tip the server even after this experience, but it seems like both the server and manager involved both were accusing my mom of trying to get a free drink. The server and manager both never apologized for this confusion and just accused my mom of being a cheat. A simple explanation that she couldn't order two kids meals would have been sufficient to avoid my sister from being disappointed with the meal. Absolutely terrible service!

Went to enjoy some nice AC during the heat wave and it was hot and stuffy inside. Server (kind and helpful) said it's usually like that.: (

You would think the staff would try harder but it seems way to laid back, if you walk in when it's not busy you could stand at the door for 10 mins before someone looks to see if you're there. It's weird

I've had the Nashville chicken twice now and it's been equally as disappointing both times. Batter coverage is uneven, edges are so overcooked they are sharp/tough, and they clearly don't toss the chicken in sauce like the photo on their website and menus clearly show. Mmmm just like they do it in Nashville. NOT!

Picked up 4 burgers for the family. They were ice cold. The burgers weren't marked so we couldn't figure who's was who's. We asked for a gluten free burger to be packed separately but they put it all into the same bag. On top of that they forget the milk shake my wife had ordered. The truffle burger did not taste very good

Friendly service and good COVID safety measures in place. We went at dinner time around 6: 30pm and our server was very prompt getting our drinks and taking our order. Food came in reasonably timely and it was all hot and delicious. It was not too busy even though it was dinner time on a weekend.

Bad quality of the food, nothing like Dunsmuir, that location is my favourite, I don't know how it can change so much the quality of the food, they should keep the same quality in all restaurants.

This is my go to White spot, I just love the vibe, festive, families and friends in the booths, great, hot food, friendly (not pushy) staff
I take friends from overseas here, I tell them its a good example of "Canadian food"

At the moment you come to that restaurant the waiters give you an excellent feeling. Very courteous waiters, it is a friendly restaurant to pass time with friends or with your date.yummy cooking, talented chief cook and stuff, reasonable pay and generous service. Highly recommended.

The French fries were ok but slightly undercooked
The coleslaw was unpalatable
I feel the food was extremely overpriced for such poor quality

This place has adapted well to the Covid-19 crisis without compromising food quality or great service. Appropriate social distancing and mask rules are in effect. Otherwise, a positive family dining experience as usual.

The ribs were dry and had so little meat on them I was starving afterwards. Will not visit again. The service was the only good thing.

I would give this White Spot 50 percent. A good place for breakfast and early lunch, and the cheerful and friendly staff on at that time. This is a small location, so be prepared to wait at lunch or supper rush. In the evening, food is still decent quality, but the staff, with two exceptions, are cold and uninterested in customers, and give quick but mechanical service. They may get their attitude from the head manager, who has a fake, smarmy vibe. I avoid the restaurant when he is around.

Went there for the Pirate Pack with my nephew and the service was excellent. Gave him toys and other items to keep him busy.

The burgers came out cold, I should have sent them back. On the plus side, we had a great waitress Marci.

Most of the waitresses working there are pretty new and when I was there last Sunday there were three greeters at the entrance not knowing what there were doing? The food was overall delicious as usual, I've ordered brunch but I was being served by three different waitresses throughout my meal. No one said thank you or goodbye the moment I stepped out the door.

This White Spot at Park and Tilford is consistently a let down. Yet, for various reasons we continue to return.

The food is often disappointing from being of unsatisfactory quality or the order is wrong. Every time we get takeout the order is blown somehow.

Today's visit was ok. I ordered a chicken Caesar Wrap and I pulled the wrap apart to see there was barely any chicken. The fries were good. My son's chicken strips were good. His Caesar salad was ok

The service was lovely. Our table and the restaurant were very clean so I appreciate that.

The server was very good and nice. But the place is a fraud they offer vegetarian meals and they do not respect at all the customer preferences. We ordered a vegetarian dish and they got it wrong, instead of making a new one they only took the chicken out of the plate and served it as a new one even when we asked explicitly to make a new dish. My friend how has been vegetarian for the last 15 years realized about the scam after she had already eaten everything and she found a pice of chicken at the bottom. We got many apologies from our server. The manager offered a lame apology and they took that plate out of the bill but obviously that is not enough, obviously they dosen't care about food restrictions.

The good thing about a chain like White Spot, is that you can always expect the food to be a consistent quality, and it's always good. It's good comfort food when I come in for breakfast or brunch, and I always enjoy the burgers with the Triple-O sauce. The bad thing is the inconsistent service. Sometimes the wait time for water, let alone the food can be considerable, and just put a damper on the entire experience. Happens maybe every 1 in 5 visits.

This location's food is one of the better White Spot's (they are NOT all the same quality). The service here is better than most. Compare with others

Good family restaurant. Decent value for the food which is consistently ok. Good service. Not really special though. A bit loud when crowded. There's usually a wait to get a table at suppertime.

Worst experience ever today! Been ordering original sunny starts regularly for over a decade and today I ordered 4 for my family. They came with no bacon! Called to tell them and the guy on the phone who says he’s the “manager” rudely tries to tell me they don’t come with bacon. FALSE! Definitely not the way to treat your customers. Not even an offer to rectify it but a blatant lie. Been going to this white spot since the 90’s and in recent years it has been going way down hill with its quality and even worse with its service. If you can, try to hit another location.

My daughter loves coming here. All staffs are very nice. Actually I do not like to go to other White-spot restaurants, but this White-spot is exception. My family comes this restaurant twice a month.

I've been a regular at this white spot location for many years. The last two visits (Mothers Day and this past Sunday) were very poor.
I choose this location as the servers are friendly and the food is consistent for family fare. These last two visits were very poor. I expected a bit of a rush on Mothers Day, but I was almost completely ignored while at my table. The Eggs Florentine Benny was oversalted and tasted more like a Knorr Hollandaise mix. No one checked on me to ask how the meal was (which was not good) and I had to wait to get the bill. The server was new (male, middle aged) and I chalked it up to a very busy day. I took my family again, last sunday and was disappointed once again. We had another new server, female, mid thirties, tattoos on neck and arm, and she did not check on us, ask us how things were, or bother to smile during her entire time with us. We kept trying to get her attention, but she walked by looking the other way at least five times. There are some excellent long term servers at this restaurant, but we did not sit in their zone these last few times. To make matters worse, the bathrooms were in poor shape. The ladies had one stall that was "not in service" for both occasions we visited and in fact the other regular stall had an entire roll of toilet paper lodged in it. We will take a rest from this location for now.

Today we tested our waitress patience. We only order one apple pie and waters for the 2 of us and we took forever to leave. She passed with honors great apple pie, great service, great tip

Gets quite busy and staff seem easily overwhelmed during these times, but that's because this is a good/popular White Spot. How can you beat the car service?

Great White Spot, Good service, plenty Parking, Good location, Good food, well run and has a drive in to park order and eat in your car, great. Worth a visit
