Whitehorse has an immersive studio environment. The teachers here are exceptionally skilled at assisting students with preparing for higher education and creating portfolios. They are very patient but also very straight forward with their constructive criticism (ideal if you hold yourself to high standards). I’ve successfully got accepted into my dream school CSM for fashion design. I would highly recommend students who wish to apply to art schools!

I must say that White Horse Art&Design studio has an amazing atmosphere and the artwork on show just blew me away! The staff are incredibly warm and accommodating, and the area is clean, bright, and welcoming. This studio has something to offer everyone, whether you're a beginner or an expert artist. The instructors are skilled and devoted to what they do, and they provide a wide range of programmes and workshops. Anyone looking to explore their creativity and learn new skills should definitely check out this art studio. It's unquestionably among the art studios in the area! In one year I have received offers from top schools including CMU, RISD, Pratt, CalArts, Parsons, SVA, SAIC.etc with scholarships.

The teaching team is very professional and provides targeted and professional guidance for students' portfolios. I gained a lot during the two years in Whitehorse. I was successfully admitted to my ideal school. Thanks to Whitehorse for cultivating me, I was the best choice to prepare my portfolio.

I met the most humorous and responsible teacher in Baima. All teachers are very professional and will always pay attention to the progress of students' works and provide patient guidance, and making sure that every thing is on the right track. The most important thing is that White Horse allowed me to get admitted to SFU, and I was also rated as a top 10 student in the visual art major! If RISD, PRATT, SAIC, SVA, ACCD are also your dream schools, White Horse Art and Design Center is the right place to go. I’ve studied here for one and half years to prepare my portfolio. I’d say without the professional teachers and learning environment here, I wouldn’t be where I am now. I have gained beyond five offers. The techniques, strategies, mediums, and materials I learned are able to support me in further study and execution of ideas. I wholeheartedly appreciate the experience I have here.

The teachers at White horse are kind and accepting, they take student works very seriously. Throughout my portfolio preparation process, White Horse provided me with paints and materials necessary, and guided me into a more artistic frame of mind. The workrooms are clean and well lit, a great working environment. I have received offers from various art schools, including RISD, Central Saint Martin, Artcenter, SAIC and more.

This art studio is very professional, has the ideal working environment, clean, big tables and bright lit up rooms. I’ve took a peak at other studios, and how they did business was so ghetto. However, White Horse Studio gave me an impeccable experience, they give you 100% of their effort to help and assist you or even above and beyond sometimes. They are not biased with their opinions, extremely straight forward with their criticisms. (Very ideal if you want to make good art.) I went to this studio for just about 1 year, not only did I get into my ideal uni, I also made a lot of strong relationships with other outstanding students at the studio, learnt a lot of skills and made memories that will last forever. I recommend anyone to go to this studio if you are passionate about what you want to do and if you are serious about pursuing an art career!

Applying a portfolio for an arts university can be very terrifying and full of hardships but because I choose Whitehorse Arts and Design I was able to make the transition from high school to university very smooth and natural. All the teachers I worked with at white horse are very professional and responsible. They create personalized schedules to keep you on track which is very reassuring considering the overwhelming work load applying for a university can bring. They monitor both your portfolio and your grades to make absolute sure you'd be secure applying for any university. I would highly recommend coming here, I got into all of the universities I applied for including UBC which was my dream school for so long.

Trust me, White Horse is a very professional studio. The teachers all have overseas study backgrounds and a clear direction for university planning. They don't just help you to improve drawing skills, but they also offer software classes and paper tutorials, even have the chance to experience a lecture from a famous professor.

This studio helped me make a perfect connection between high school and art & design university. Now I am studying in OCAD University. Honestly, without the guidance of teachers in this studio, I would never be able to enter the University I have always dreamed of.

I am currently studying Interaction design at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. It is a fantastic art studio with talented students and professional instructors. I went to White Horse Art and Design Studio a few years ago to prepare my portfolio for art school.
