Would never place an order from here again. Placed an order for a BBQ that was out of stock in mid-August, and heard back at the end of September that it could be until December before it was shipped, or we had the option to pay $115 for it to be shipped here in 2 weeks. Two months went by before we heard anything back after deciding to pay the shipping, and the only answer given when I asked why the shipping took so long was “I don’t know, there were shipping delays. ” Now it was been sitting in the warehouse for over a week and we can’t get ahold of anyone to schedule a pick up time. Ridiculous that we paid so much for shipping, and very poor service promising completely inaccurate shipping timeframes.

Over promise and under deliver right to the end. Promised delivery May 15th, actual delivery June 29th. Got a series of excuses, finally they said they had the goods and I needed to pay the balance prior to delivery, which I did on on June 14th then another 2 weeks to get delivery. To top things off the delivery guys dropped off the fire table in boxes and said they weren't allowed to assemble it.

I had received very good service from them when I ordered replacement cushions for a chair; there had been an issue and it was dealt with very efficiently and professionally. This however, was a terrible experience.

As a birthday gift from my husband, I ordered a lounge chair in March 2021 and was told it would be here in August. I paid a $2,000 deposit. I called in October and was told it wouldn't ship until April 2022. When I said that was too long and could they please refund my deposit, I was told they would not. The owner, Dan Wakeling, said he could give me the cushions, which had arrived but no chair. Seriously. He further said there were "tons" of people waiting for items and he couldn't refund my deposit; lots of Covid issues. Ok, not happy but I will wait until April.

No one called to update me on my order by the end of April, 2022. I have just spoken to the manager, Trevor and was told he didn't know when my chair was coming. I again said I wanted a refund, as it has been almost 15 months since I gave my deposit. He also refused. I was very frustrated and exasperated and had to indicate that having received legal advice, they were not entitled to keep my deposit indefinitely, that this was not reasonable or professional. He then mocked me: "Oh my god, my lounge chair has not arrived.with all that's going on in the world, this is a big deal for you? " What? There's a war in Ukranine/global warming/homelessness.so by comparison, I should shut up and be glad my "biggest problem" is a piece of outdoor furniture? He then hung up on me. When I called back, he repeated his refusal to issue a refund and continued more of the "we'll look into where your chair is at. "

After saying I was going to take legal action, contact the BBB and post negative notices online, he again hung up with no assurance that this would be dealt with in a timely manner. He called back 10 minutes later and said they would give me a refund. And then he went on to lecture me about how HE was treated, ending the conversation with "you have a great day" and hung up. Again.

And we wonder why people shop on Amazon?

Thank you to Dan and the staff at Wicker land. You guys were awesome. We wanted a cantilevered umbrella and you guys made it happen. Dan helped us make sure the umbrella would not interfere with other objects on our deck space.worked out perfect. Also, we needed to get a few parts replaced on our Treager 650 and he and staff made it an easy fix.

Dan, hands-down a true professional with a beyond approach to customer service and inventory knowledge above all other staff I have dealt with and places I have visited! He assisted me and went above and beyond to ensure I ordered exactly the best product to meet my needs.

I feel lied to, incredibly disappointed and frustrated! I am also not impressed with their customer service. I called last week to follow-up on our order and no one returned my call. We made an expensive purchase in May 2021. The order was confirmed for 4-12 weeks for completion, and the Owner/Manager, Dan, confirmed that the furniture would arrive by late July/early August. I had to call again today, since no one returned my call, and a staff member looked up the order and said it would arrive in October! That is 22 weeks from the time of order. We would not have made this purchase if we knew the order would take twice as long to arrive. No one bothered to call to inform me of the delay and the staff person I spoke with was completely indifferent to the delay. I asked to speak with the Owner/Manager and was told that he was off work until Wednesday and does not do business during his time off. I have personally owned several small retail businesses and ALWAYS made myself available for customers, particularly to address a major company failure in customer service.

I was also told that I should call back when the Owner/Manager is in, since it's unlikely that he will call me because "work piles up on his desk when he is away". I hope the Owner/Manager does call me and we make this situation right! Until then, I DO NOT recommend purchasing from this company.

They're the local reseller of Slap Ya Mama brand New Orleans seasonings. Authentic and delicious. Had to restock after our southern gift ran out.

I realize covid-19 has had a huge impact of availability of furniture amongst many other products. I also am aware that staffing can be a challenge. My biggest problem here is that I have called at least 5 times asking for someone to look into my furniture that I ordered in like April, & phone calls are never returned. Not once has anyone called saying sorry, we still don’t know when your furniture will arrive. I call every couple weeks and ask, and they always say I’ll look into it a get back to you, but nobody ever has. I called on Monday & was told its in the warehouse & that an email would be sent to confirm delivery… still nobody calls, no idea what’s happening. Still no furniture. Communication is important, & improvement is needed

I re-finished the fire pit and my wife reached out to Wickerland for new glass options. Vanessa got back to use right away with options and we headed out the next morning. We took them out of the store and tested them with out sample out in the parking lot because the sun changes them so much. We picked one that we never would have picked if we hadn't had our eyes opened to it. It's now at home and looks beautiful. Thank you Vanessa and Trevor for your help.

Great place for BBQ supplies.especially if you have a Traeger or Big Green Egg. Extensive spice section for marinade, lathers, barks or seasoning for meat and veggies. Obviously, due to their size, a good portion of the showroom is dedicated to some higher-end patio furniture. When they don't have what you want in-stock - simply ask Dan or Trevor to bring it in with their next order.

Bought my Traeger there and they are phenomenal. Friendly, knowledgeable and experienced what more could you ask for. Highly recommend them for grills and chills. Awesome patio furniture which I will be getting some from after the rebuild.

There aren't enough word to describe how incredible the service is at Wickerland. I had a slight issue with my grill purchase and they went so far above and beyond that it was truly incredible. I am so happy with Wickerland and in particular Dan and Emily. They've earned a customer for life!

The selection blew me away when I first walked into tWickerLand in Victoria. What sold me though, was the quality and durability of the cushions. I hate it when other cushions pancake on you, offering no support. And talk about durability! I even got pizza stains completely out of my white Sunbrella cushions within minutes, and went right back to relaxing in my furniture! Thank you Dan, and your staff. I appreciate your expertise.

Best Patio Furniture store on Vancouver Island. Great Ratana hand weaved wicker Furiture.
Possibly my most comfortable and content experience purchasing Furniture ever.
The customer service that Dan and his knowledgeable staff provide is through the roof. With no doubt I will be returning for all my patio needs.

We have been researching the Traeger smokers - as a major purchase, we wanted to be sure we had all our questions answered before we bought. Trevor at Wickerland had excellent knowledge, personal experience and the ability to hear our questions before he answered - sometimes a rare commodity.

Highly recommend this store and salesperson for your outdoor cooking and living needs

I love this place and I'm so happy that they have opened a store in Victoria! I've been to the Kelowna location several times as well. On my recent visit to the Wickerland store in Victoria, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgable staff who gave me the space I needed to browse and ask questions without any pressure to buy. The patio furniture and accessories are amazing and the selection of BBQ's/smokers and quing spices are "top-shelf". Only the best here. Did I say, "I love this place"? Damn straight, good job Wickerland. A special note of appreciation to Dan, Brad and Trevor for making this store a destination, not simply just another retail location.
