Wild Water was a AMAZING! Amazing staff - always cracking jokes and making the day feel fun and relaxed. Spencer was our rafting guide and he did a great job connecting with everyone on the raft and getting to know everyone. It was well organized, safe and such a BLAST! I would highly recommend this rafting company and come back again! Thanks to whole team of guides for making everyone feel welcomed, safe and providing a GREAT experience. My face was sore from laughing and smiling all afternoon!

This rafting trip was exactly what we wanted. Lots of great rapids expertly navigated by our guide Rocky so it was all adrenaline and we never felt unsafe. Team was enthusiastic and created a great atmosphere the whole time. Great attention to safety and high quality equipment that kept us (relatively) warm and a comforting hot drink at the end.

You’ll get no better rafting experience. From the booking and admin support to the guiding- just a great day and worth every penny. Spencer was our guide- just an excellent person and fantastic guide. He held the attention of my 14 year old all the way up to my 62 year old mother. This is the right choice!

My family (2 parents in late 50s with kids now 19 and 21) have done a handful of 1/2 day rafting trips on our vacations to various places and Wild Water is the best outfitter we've gone with. We did the Exciter trip. The whole process was seamlessly well organized and professional. I really appreciated that they provided wetsuits (we've frozen our butts off with other rafting companies who don't), and the bus ride to/from the river was quick. So we were comfortable all day. The guides are very entertaining and their great attitudes and humor made the whole day fun. Our particular guide was Tye and we really enjoyed spending the morning with him. The river is beautiful and rapids were fun. I would say the rapids were maybe a bit more tame than similarly-classed runs we've done before (although I am no expert on rapids classification), but still a lot of fun. We would definitely go with this outfitter again again, probably the all-day Maximum Horsepower, if we are lucky enough to go back to this area of Canada.

Wild Water was east to get to from Lake Louise. Carlos was excellent at explaining everything. Would highly recommend

We had an amazing rafting experience here. The guides were so nice, skilled and fun. The facility was clean, well maintained and they provided all needed gear. We felt like this was an excellent experience and everyone in our group, teens, parents and grandparents thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Best event of our vacation!

We had so much fun. Our guide Rocky was very professional & efficient in making our 24 km journey smooth. This is definitely an event we will be back again for sure.  Highly recommended.

We had a WICKED time rafting this week. The weather was stunning and the water was super refreshing! Our guide was Spencer, and despite starting out feeling a little nervous, he made me feel super comfortable and definitely knew what he was doing! He was also hilarious and kept us entertained the entire trip. Would highly recommend this to everyone and anyone who's been unsure about it in the past - it's worth it! Can't wait to go back!

I recently did Wildwater's "Gentle" whitewater rafting trip with my son who was not old enough for their "Traditional" trip. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. According to my son, it was the best part of our holiday in the Canadian Rockies. I would recommend it if you have young children or simply want a more relaxed white water experience.

The company's focus on safety came across really strongly. I felt that I was safe hands. Our guide (Spencer) was top notch - chatty and looked after his crew.

We really wanted to like this place however on the way to the rafting area there was a major deadly accident just 10 min before the rafting destination. The police officers were telling everyone to turn around because the fire was becoming hazardous and they needed to shut down the Highway. We called the rafting company explaining there was no way we could make the river rafting due to the accident. The manager refuse to give us a full refund. She kept telling us they can only give us credit back. I was trying to explain to her that we have 14 people from out of town. She kept telling us that was all she could do for us is to give us credit for another time. I was trying to reiterate that there is noway all 14 of us are going to fly back to banff just to river raft. She said she would call us the next day after they talk to upper management. The next day I did not receive a call back so I waited another day incase they were busy. Still no call back so I called back and they finally told us they were able to refund us back. Such a stressful situation that could’ve been handled better.

It was one of my favorite whitewater trips so far! I’ve rafted in Colorado, Utah, and Montana and this river was awesome. I love the class IV and wish there were more but the guides were VERY personable and friendly, professional, witty, and made the experience even better. I’ll be back some day!

Great first experience of rafting - came in from Dallas and was pleasantly surprised! The crew there were super fun and had it reassured that it would be safe. If cold water is a concern, they do provide fleece jackets to keep you comfortable. Overall, a great time at the river!

Had a fantastic time doing the Extreme (grade 3-4) rapids here! My tour guide Bill, along with all the others were hilarious people who did a great job caring for us, and gave clear directions throughout the adventure. Can't wait to come back!

Very well organized and run, they take care of wetsuits, booties, jacket, helmets-all the gear. The guides are fun and affable but clearly place safety first. I went w my 9 yo daughter and she LOVED it. We'll be back for the traditional run with class 3/4 rapids once she turns 12. Thanks guys!

Crazy good time! The rafting is exhilarating but it’s the guides that make this excursion worth every penny! They all have a great sense of humour and we were lucky enough to have Mike in our boat as our guide. He engaged all of us throughout the trip so we all got to learn a little about each other during our couple of hours together getting soaked. Can’t say enough good things about this whole operation. This is a must do excursion if you’re in the area.

We had an amazing and such an epic experience! This is our second time rafting but first time on a more advanced level. The staff was so friendly and fun, from the moment we got into the bus until we came back safely. Our guide was Simon, he took very good care of my son, 13 year old, who was sitting in the front and took some good splashes. My son felt very cold after 3/4 of the ride. Simon assured him he will take good care of him, he made us have a break switched our family to the back of the boat, gave my son a warm fleece jacket to wear underneath the waterproof jacket for extra layer and kept checking on him throughout the ride to make sure he is happy and warm. Thank you Simon! After our ride, the team offered some good hot chocloate and coffee which was well needed, very nice gesture and excellent service. We will definitely come back, this is now added to our family favorites.

Friendly, well-organized, and they even allowed us to upgrade from the Gentle to the Standard tour at short notice. Our guides - Carlos and Simon - were experienced and entertaining! Highly recommended!

We had a great time, and the guides made the experience that much better. Would definitely recommend, and will be going back at some point soon. Shout out to our vessels guide, Spencer - Aage brother!

Great vibes, everyone's is just there to have a good time, the staff are very knowledgeable and how to relay important information regarding safety.

The main attraction is something else, just a blast and would recommend time and time again.

Someone give Andrew his well deserved beer now, this was the second time I came here spreadout by a few years but I really have to go here more often.

Once again, the owner better beer Andrew up. Although I'm just trying to get Andrew his well deserved beer the rest of the staff where all great too.

Oh and there's a secret foot massage option but you have to give up on the water rafting for it, will have to ask Carlos more about it next time.

Wild Water was flexible with booking, great with communication, easy to find, well put together, fun to be with, and very experienced. They took care of everyone, and I think over 60 folks were out that day with us. Would highly recommend! Thanks to our guide, Mustache Mike, for the excellent time!

Always have a great time rafting at wild water, the staff is amazing and very helpful and rafting the kickinghorse river is always a blast you will for sure end up soaked by the end of your trip. It’s great!

Great experience!
We did the Whitewater Exciter trip (weren’t enough people for the Maximum Horsepower trip).
There are about 8 people on each boat, with about 6 boats (depending of course on how many people have joined). The rafting itself isn’t technical at all (sadly, I guess) and feels very safe at all times. The guides explain everything you need to know for every possible situation.
There’s about an hour and a half of actual rafting time. You get all the equipment you need, including wetsuits (water is just a few degrees above freezing point). You only need to bring a towel and a swimsuit.
The guides are great - very serious yet funny whenever they can be.
I’d definitely recommend Wild Water Adventures if you’re looking for the best rafting experience.

All the staff were super friendly and willing to chat. The instructions were very clear, I felt prepared to go over the level 3 and 4 rapids before we got to them. I hope to do it again next visit.
I do wish the address was easier to find or in the confirmation email.

Fun, exciting, and safe. Our guide Mike is funny, professional and kept our raft of 8 people stable even during the wildest parts of the run! We enjoyed the Traditional run so much that we will definitely come back next year to try the Maximum Horsepower:)

Amazing experience!
- As first time rafters we chose the “tradition” trip and would recommend it. The first half of the trip was gentle and perfect to get used to rafting, the second part was really fun and exciting.
- Our guide Will was great, we never felt in danger in the rapids, and he made sure we had lots of splashes
- The warm BBQ lunch upon arrival was a must have (It was so delicious esp after a long raft)

Wow was that some wild water!
But not more wild than our incredible guide Luca!
10/10 would recommend to any friends and family or pretty much anyone who asks!

Spent the day (22JUL) out on the water with Carlos (the Tradition course) and had a blast! The entire team is astounding. They make sure to brief everyone, have the appropriate gear (which you receive on location), and make sure safety is the number one priority- all while having a good time.
It was money well spent and memories that will never be forgotten. Enjoyed the rafting, bbq, and conversation.

Shoutout to Carlos for all the fun facts, continuously keeping things interesting, and safeguarding everyone on board the raft.

The operation ran smoothly and everything was explained in detail. Simon was an awesome captain for our raft. He was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly and gave us he full experience with being on the rapids. Simon made the adventure more enjoyable!

This was extreme and amazing, we got class III waves and had so much fun. The kids loved it and were not even a little scared because our river guide Simon was amazing and knowledgeable about the river and outdoors. Water was a little chilly since it is right of the Glacier. Spencer and Mike were so funny and friendly, good with the kids. The only downer was not being able to buy specific pictures of me and my family, have to buy entire package with all pictures of everyone in all boats. Personally I want my boats pictures only as they are of my family.

‘I had the worse experience in terms of customer service/satisfaction. I was supposed to go for rafting today but because of an accident on the highway we got stuck in the traffic jam literally 12 min drive before the actual site and waited for an hour and half till we got to know that there is a 7 hr delay because of multiple fatalities. (Trans-Canada Highway- 2nd July 2022) We could not inform the rafting place because neither us nor anyone had any signal/service. Eventually we had to head back and the minute we got our service back, I phoned up the service and informed them about the situation. The person on the other side told me that they will have a word with the boss and will get back to me with an answer. I waited for 3 hrs and then called back to check what’s going on. I was told that nothing can be done now as it’s neither their fault nor ours. I do understand the situation but what about customer service and satisfaction. I flew all the way from the UK for my holiday and all I get in return is a nonchalant ‘Cant do anything’ from the person who is running this business. I mean not even a voucher which can be used in a year’s time or something if you are not going to refund the amount. I’m highly disappointed with the customer service and would never recommend this to anyone not because of the adventure but because of the indifferent attitude towards the customer. We booked this activity only after reviewing all the good reviews but my personal experience with all the indifferent attitude is not acceptable. It’s a shame that you treated your tourist with such an attitude. The person who was on the phone is lovely and very sweet as she did understand my frustration and apologised several times. I’m hot under the collar with the boss who actually told her to just shrug the shoulders on their behalf to disappoint customers. (Order confirmation code - FB5622) ’

Amazing excursion! The guides were fantastic and laid back. My wife and I felt very safe, the safety briefing was thorough and straight forward.
The rapids were incredible! We hit some 15ft waves, got tossed around the boat a lot, got to paddle if you wanted to, no one fell out of the boat. The scenery was breathtaking, and so was the frigid water haha. They provide a wet suit, fleece, rain jacket, life jacket and helmet that kept us plenty warm.
I’ve been on other excursions that cost a lot more and were not nearly as good. Great price for the amount of adventure packed in.
10/10 would recommend!

I've been TWICE! That should say something! They are well organized and pay attention to safety leaving us to HAVE FUN! We recently visited during COVID. They've taken precautions and somehow left us feeling like they weren't to onerous. Well done! With COVID, no international travelers and guides. Just Canadians or folks who were already living in Canada pre-COVID. It was just different, not bad.

Had such an amazing time rafting! I’ve gone 3 times with this same company and it’s always been a blast. Our instructor Marcie, along with the rest of the staff, were all wonderful and made us feel safe.

My family of 7 took a trip out to Golden and our Wild Water adventure was the highlight of our 2nd day events! Our guide was Marcy and she was absolutely awesome. Her first step was to memorize our names and by the time we were 25 feet off shore she had our 7 names locked in. She took us on a great adventure and not only did she give us lots of information about the landscape, she was funny, outgoing and really personable. We all agreed that Marcy made the trip 5 stars! Now of course I don't want to leave any other staff out because everyone was really friendly and accommodating but most of all professional as Safety First was truly the mindset of all the staff at Wild Water Adventures. We had an awesome time Marcy thank you again and we'll see you in June for another adventure. Btw - the Thompson Falls hike was so good! Great recommendation.
