It's declined through the years, used to have better pricing and selection. Still your best option in downtown Vancouver though.

Very cool vintage thrift store! Love the vibe and set up. Great selection, everything clearly price tagged. Visiting for only a few days with small luggage so I couldn’t shop unfortunately. Definitely check them out if your local to this area of BC.

I live close and check it out almost daily. I make a purchase roughly once every five times I visit. Careful! Regardless of if something is broken or stained its out on the floor. The staff look up the price of almost everything right there in front of you on their phones and the really good stuff (guitars, vintage collectables and advertising etc) never even seems to hit the floor, let alone the rafters. When almost any gem is sifted out and the chaff is priced near msrp, you gotta wonder whats the point? I ask myself that almost every time. ;) Remember when you look up the value of something online, thats what the whole world might pay, maybe leave some meat on the bone for the guy darkening your door!

An awesome thrift store with a great selection of clothes, books, music, and some furniture. Every clothing article is clean (or as best as possible). I’ve been able to find brands such as Babaton, Brandy Melville, and Stussy. For a slightly higher-end thrift store in the heart of downtown Vancouver, the prices are very reasonable. I would say most things are ranging from $5-25. They also have sale items! My favourite thing about Wildlife is that they donate to Coast Mental Health and a lot of other great charities! Definitely worth a visit for anyone who loves second hand stuff

They close their fitting rooms 15 minutes early without notice. What a terrible policy and a waste of customers time

It's always the same, they let you walk around and don't try to make you feel uncomfortable by rushing out the door. Or like you are shop lifting.
An enjoyable time shopping.

I donated a bunch of bags here and they made the clothes smaller. I know this because a friend actually ended up buying some pieces. Extra "seams" were somehow added. Without changing the size labels. Large people need clothes too

Edit: comment to "owner" i donated over ten big bags, in the course of about two weeks. Ive been coming here since 2014 and not once have i seen the owners. I find it hilarious too actually, mostly because at random I found out coincidentally, that a friend purchased my things since we are both bigger sizes. She told me that they made it smaller, there was a seam there that didnt belong! I didnt alter the items so someone else did

Also I donated designer items as well as "$5-10" items lol who are you to say how much the items were! You get the items free!

Disappointed to find out that this thrift store does NOT actually give to any wildlife or animal related charities. Although the charities they give to are worthy (mental health and homelessness) it is not my preferred charities. Time to change the store name to reflect who they actually support.

I have both donated and purchased items here for several years. It was always hit and miss whether you got a deal or even great deal but in the end it sorta evened itself out.

But about the last year or so the price of items is often unreasonable. Some prices are at the original price when new and are not worth that at all. Literally most items have doubled. Ie $20 is now $ 40 and so on. You are price gouging your customers in most cases and shame on you

Great thrift store in downtown Vancouver. Always something new to view and buy. Very helpful staff.sometimes overpriced, sometimes underpriced but overall well worth the visit.

Chic, picturesque thrift store in the middle of Vancouver, right next to the bridge. They got all kinds of stuff. From clothes and shoes to home supplies and video games.

Lovely staff, great selection of clothes, accessories, shoes, decor, and homeware! Very convenient location, short walk from the Skytrain.

I used to really love this store - I’ve been shopping and donating here since I moved to Vancouver nearly 8 years ago. It makes me really sad to see the price gouging that is happening there now. I used to go in and see plenty of quality items (donated by the people of Vancouver) at very reasonable prices.
Now there are still some nice items but because thrifting has increased in popularity over the years (specifically amongst people with higher incomes) they can now sell these donated items at much higher prices and discount them only if necessary.
Thrifting is meant to be accessible - in my mind, at least. I used to donate a lot of quality items there but now I can’t in good conscience when I go in and see items priced higher than what was initially paid.
Used Ikea items priced well over retail, chipped or incomplete dish sets for HUNDREDS of dollars, well loved clothing and fast fashion brands priced way too high. Occasionally I can still find a pair of shoes at a decent price - probably because I have really small feet. I’m writing this because I’d actually really like to continue donating and shopping here. It’s in a very convenient location for a lot of people - especially if you don’t have a car, like myself. I’ve asked staff about pricing a couple times but was pretty quickly dismissed. There used to be some really nice people working there who would often give you a little discount if they noticed something was overpriced. For now I’m going to be donating my things elsewhere. BC SPCA thrift store on Victoria drive is a little out of the way but worth the trip, in my opinion - really nice merchandising too! Take notes!
