Employees are very friendly. But if you bring 10 year under. Their kids course is only last around 20-30mins for 2 laps $30 per kid. Hope they could let kids play full 1 hour instead of laps.
The kids course is just OK. I’d suggest it for kids maybe 8 and under. My child is 10 but too short for the classic course and found the kids course boring. It was also too crowded and there was a lot of waiting around for kids ahead to finish. Won’t return until he’s tall enough for the bigger course.
Good place for family activity.they have a few picnic tables and was able to use one during our stay but make sure to bring your own food as there are no food stores in the vicinity.wash room isn't topnotch but at least it's not just a hole on the ground unlike most parks have.
Enjoyed watching my daughter and friends conquer their fears and have fun! Very impressed with the patience, politeness, kindness and attentiveness of all the young staff we encountered. Great customer service and experience!
I took two of my 7 year old nephews to Wildplay on separate occasions. They both had a great time and said it was the hardest thing they've ever done! The staff were all super helpful, kind and enthusiastic!
A great experience for anyone, especially kids. I found it a great opportunity for kids self confidence for challenging themselves on hard adventure. They have different courses fir young kids and older ones. Minimum height for attending the entry course is 48 inches and 6 years old. Parent can participate in the courses with the kids or just following them while they ate having fun on their challenges. I think you can try here several times. I noticed there are some camps that kids can attend during proD day, spring breaks. Also there is a fun throwing axes area for over 12 years old too.
We will definitely come here again aa kids had lots of fun here
Very entertaining for both adults and kids. It takes more tine than expected so come early as you will need to take breaks. We went with our friends, started with kids course which they enjoyed alot! The stuff are amazing and friendly, our friend wasn’t able to do their extreme course as it got busy and some people changed their mind so they kind of consume time for getting ppl down, but one of stuff (Evaleen) she was so nice that she offered them a voucher to come Any other day. I my self didn’t have time to finish the red level in classic so she offered the same for me. It was very considering from them, and I really appreciate her efforts!
This is more challenging than it looks. We bought the “do it all” package and it was way too much. We were there for well over 3 hrs and only completed the first 3 obstacle course runs. Very very fun. I suggest buying just the main part and then adding on the additional parts If you have the energy when you finish the first parts
Very physically demanding but a lot of fun. The safety system is a little frustrating but it's nice that you feel very secured and safe while up there.
Staff is great and the different levels are so fun, especially the zip lines for kids. We went in the earlier mornings and holy mosquitos. Bring bug spray and cover yourselves. Standing in swarms of them waiting to be clipped up
What a great time for the entire family. There is something to do for almost everyone. My son who didn't meet the height requirement for the jr.course was given a scavenger hunt sheet. It was simple but it kept him engaged and entertained. The other kids loved the course and even did the 40 ft.drop. It was a great time out.
The staff were great, friendly and courteous. 3 stars because you pay per course, which you can only complete one time then that's it, you're done. Over. No more. Out you go. If you want unlimited turns then you have to buy a seasons pass. It does not take 60min to complete a "course" as stated online, leading me to believe that the kids would have had 60 full minutes to do the course repeatedly. Nope. Rip off. Would have had more fun at the waterslides and cheaper too! Will not go back nor recommend, unless ofcourse you feel like burning many dollars for a few minutes of entertainment.
Are you bored of hiking? Want to add some adventure into your weekly jaunt in the woods? Then may I recommend WildPlay!
We had a lot of fun today challenging the regular adventure couse. Its a pricier weekend activity but its one of those memory making ones. If you are going with a Big kid group consider adding on the extreme level at the end but if its just family the regular course is challenging and exciting enough.
Staff here are very helpful and there is a small snack kiosk if you need extra energy.
My son and his friends (pre-teens) got a season pass after trying out the course on the school field trip. It looks scary and difficult when you're down below and some people (mostly adults!) need to be occasionally "rescued". But to my amazement the kids were having a blast and moving fast. They were so thrilled all the way and so happy after! The staff was very fast to act when they saw a problem and very helpful on and off the ground to people who got "stuck" way up on the obstacles. Overall a great way to get away from the screens!
Such a cool place to go and spend a day in the outdoors a little expensive for a family to go especially because my kids can only do the lowest track. But the place is super cool and they have alot of fun ziplines and net crawls for all sizes and age groups!
On a nice sunny day it can get busy, reserve yourself some time to get through all the courses, can take a couple hours or more.
Staff were all very helpful and always around if you need them.
The classic course had 3 sections, green, blue and red they each got longer and more difficult. You can repeat or skip ahead if there's a long line up.
Black is the extreme course you can add on, if you have a season pass it's included.
Our kids 11 and 9 did all 4 no problem and spent 2-3 hours. If you're just barely of height the zip line can be a reach to move your carabiner through.
If you are planning to have an adventurous & fun filled day with your friends & family, this is the place for you. You can easily spend 4-5hours more or less there, based on the kind of activities you pick. We went there in the group of 9, and had an amazing time.
Great time by the whole family ages 11 to 42. We did the entire course including the extreme track. Staff was extremely friendly and supportive. They encouraged us along and offered helpful suggestions when needed. My family is already taking about next time we come back
My boys and I had a great time there. The team were amazing and helpful specifically when my boys needed help to pass some challenging steps. We visit again very soon:)
Overall, it's a great way to spend an afternoon with your loved ones but the parking lot is tiny. Expect to park on the street somewhere during weekends. Also, when it's busy you sometime have to wait for up to 2.5 hours.
Good place for a teens to build energy. Suggest to wear? So hand won’t get soared. It’s not going to hurt but might be soared after first 2 zones. First 2 are classics and two more difficult trails considered as extreme. If u are going to go once, best to book morning and spend whole day to finish everything. Staff is helpful there. Book online in advance to avoid disappointment.
It was fun but kid's course was too short. Too many kids, my 8 year old had to wait for a long time from one course to another, since some younger kids had difficulty putting through the safety mechanism. If there were no line ups, he can pass the course in 15 mins, and it cost $36 after taxes, I think it's too pricy and wasn't too challenging. Friendly staff!
Nice location but not as marketed. If you have a fast paced kid, they will be finished their 2 times on the kids course in about 20 minutes. Also, the washrooms were filthy and disgusting. We won't be coming back until the kids are tall enough for the full course. Thumbs down in the kids course.
We had the opportunity to visit WildPlay Maple Ridge today. It was definitely a perfect day for that tree top adventures. It was our kids first time trying the adventure path and it took a little while longer to complete it not due to the fact of my kids being slow, but we had a couple of girls that was somewhat terrified of the height of the activity. Unfortunately, they slowed the whole team down and it took us all a little longer to complete. Note for next time, if somebody is afraid or you feel that they might be afraid, it is best to go ahead of them if you can. If the person is afraid and they leave the lineup, make sure you do not let them cut in front of you and hold everybody up as this really makes everyone behind them quite upset. I have to honestly say that all the people that work at WildPlay are very patient, kind and caring. A shout out to the team leader, name Robin who was able to really help the two terrified girls. She offered many different options for them and was there for them the whole entire time. The experience at WildPlay was definitely exciting and fun. We will definitely be returning to WildPlay.
Great fun place to spend a quality time with friends or family. My kids absolutely loved the fun. My daughter wasn't an adventure type but she said she wanted to try it again. Harnesses kept the kids safe at all time. They even have an ice cream truck on site. Parking is a bit hard to find.
The place is absolutely amazing, but I am not happy experience wise. There wasn't that many people, but before every section we had to wait for quite a long time for the slow people in front of us to finish. It could have beenbetter.
Rude staff. I know it’s fun place and we all friends came to do that but staff was rude with bad customer service. They should work on improving customer service and attitude.
Great outdoor adventures are had here! Exceptionally safe and well managed. Birthday area for parties and different difficulty levels for various ages and experiences. Axe throwing too! Easy to find washrooms and garbage disposal for any picnics.
Wildplay Maple Ridge is awesome! Their staff are great and hard working. It is fun for all ages (over 5 years of age). I’d highly recommend checking out this location if you are on the mainland, you will not regret.
Great time lots of fun. If you go wear pants or shorts that have a zip up pocket for a phone. It is really good that they step you up in levels of difficulty.
We had a blast doing this course. Lots of laughs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The girl helping us was so great. We had an issue with our groupon tickets and she helped us very quickly and also helped us upgrade our tickets. She was so genuine and funny, I wish I could remember her name. The line ups were incredibly long and painful. We had a set appt time, they put us with another group and there was a group just ahead of us going at a way slower pace. We ended up skipping level two to avoid crowding.
Super fun day out. I did the "extreme course" with my son and his friends for his 11th birthday. Staff were well organized and knowledgeable and gave good coaching as we attempted each obstacle. If you have time (or haven't been before) I would reccomend doing the "classic course" and then adding on the "extreme" at the end - that way the skills and challenges build up. Great Day out!
If you have fear of heights this would help. Safe with harness attached at all times. Only thing I would take a look at is the one of the zip line with bars as when you get to the end the lifeline rubs against your arm and burns your skin.
Staff were fantastic My experience was awesome & I totally would come again but I just HAVE to say something about the bathrooms. SO disgusting! Worst bathroom experience I have had pretty much ever… I used it once upon arriving and again 1 hour later. Menstrual products/blood/feces all present on the floor. I truly felt it was almost a health risk
Great family place for a couple hours. A little pricey but quite honestly with inflationary pressures isn't a bad deal. Great healthy outdoor fun for the whole family. I'm a miserable person and even I had a good time.
Me and my family went to wild play maple ridge and I was talking to an employee named VICTOR. This man helped my brother many many times with very friendly manners. The main reason I would like to go back is to meet VICTOR. I can't say enough about him. 10/10 for VICTOR.
I came here with my boyfriend and his best friend who love things like this. We tried everything while we were here and I was most impressed by the staff. I ended up having the start of a panic attack part way through the Extreme course and the staff members were so helpful and were able to repel me down and off the course. Thanks for being awesome!
Super fun, stick it out and do the entire course. You can't possible fall, great for those with height fears. Not the cheapest hour or so of fun but still a good time
The course is fun, but expensive and short. We were able to complete the Classic course in under 1h. I recommend that they charge by the hour rather than just by the course.
Fun outdoor place for kids. My only issue is that there should be another level between the first and second. My daughter has outgrown the first course but isn't tall enough for the second
Called to make sure we could bring our children, website said it closes at 8. Showed up at 6: 10, after calling, to be told they closed early due to staff shortage.
Very friendly staff, took a lot of extra time and were very patient with the family that were having trouble with some of the activities. Great experience overall thank you.
Great for kids and adults two courses one for children of a certaiain height and one for adults and childen of a certain height lots of different obsticles and challenges zip lines cable bridges and others its a really cool place fun in the tree tops lol
It is a great place for kids and adults! A tree top adventure where you move from one tree top to another through via bridges, zip lines, ropes, logs and what not. Was a little scary and physically challenging, but utterly amusing!
Not for the faint of heart! My two girls ages 9 & 11 and I completed the classic course and it was very challenging to say the least! Most obstacles were quite difficult unless you're a seasoned athlete. Be prepared to get physical & maybe shed a few tears over the level of difficulty.satisfying to complete this challenging course, a day to remember!
Super fun to take our preteen kids to. We are all about having experiences instead of giving presents lately and this was a great way to spend a few hours for a birthday
Thank you so much Wild Play Maple Ridge for accommodating the Greater Vancouver Canadians and our 3 hockey teams. The staff were amazing and a special shoutout to the supervisor Kayla for making sure our players had a great time and could get the most out of the day. We were able to set up a bbq and make lunch and use the field for team building activities after spending the morning climbing through the trees. I would highly recommend and would definitely come back. Despite the rainy morning, it was still an amazing day.
My son did the kids course and he enjoyed it. Our group supervisor Cam (I believe that was his name) was super good with the kids and helpful. For $20 I believe it is a great activity for the kids.
Great place for kids and adults courses are well planned safe and fun best outdoor play ive seen, zip lines and obsticles are designed for school aged children and they have a second course for adults or teenagers really cool place
Very natural wild tree adventure park. Great place for kids and adults. Nice set up, safety is good, zip wires are exciting, courses are wonderfully designed. Washrooms is clean and nice too. Guest services is nice and explains details. Nice tech supported iPad gears for payments and waivers. Will definitely go again!
It was a lot of fun and very safe. If you think you will enjoy a zipline/rope bridge challenge, this is for you. Be in decent shape though, some of the bridges are challenging. Booked times is nice, since you know you don't have to wait. We managed to get just two of us in our group so going at our own pace was nice. Great experience overall.
Pretty far out from downtown Vancouver but worth the drive. My teenage daughters love it. Just hoping they bring back some of the currently closed jumps.
Challenging both physically and mentally. Seems a little over priced for the experience, however coming in a group provides the opportunity for a discount. Does lack some of the social opportunities that a group may want though. An experience like rock climbing for example allows for social interaction and challenge by choice. Here once you are clipped in, you either attempt to finish that level of challenge or back out right to the beginning and you can only chat with those immediately in front or behind you.
Definitely more challenging than I expected! So everyone in the family had some fun. Kids and adults alike! We look forward to come back and try the courses in other cities.
Great little environment for some tree-climbing action! Prices are what you’d expect for a tourist destination in Vancouver, but the experience is well worth it. There are a variety of different level courses from child to adult difficulty. Even the smallest course (which is the entry level) is a ton of fun and quite challenging at parts. It can also get quite high in height (great for adrenaline junkies) as you move up in course difficulty. Overall a fun little place tucked away for some quick zipline action!
