Incredible! Had the best experience. Don’t remember their names because we were so excited, but the guys at 3pm were so sweet and fun. Jumped twice. Shoutout out to Lee down at the docs, off to get some chicken.

Great time with family and friends today for my son's 9th.
Austin was a great host and all the staff were professional helpful and had all the answers.

Great time as usual.

My son tried the kids course and loved it. Parent of little ones can also join in but might be challenging for taller adults. The staff was super nice and knowledgeable. They were always watching to ensure he was safe and encouraged him when he was hesitant.

WildPlay Nanaimo is a must try if you are in the area and want a fun and challenging experience and appreciate nature all at the same time.

If you are even more adventurous, there are many other activities like Bungee Jump, Primal Swing, Freefalling, and Zip Line.

Such a great experience. HUGE thanks to Sam for his encouragement and helping my child complete the course. Thanks again Sam.wouldn't have finished without you!

The courses were great, I only made it through part way before I was scared but my partner did them all and the extreme, he loved it. I did not find that the staff were very friendly or involved which was kind of a downer, I watched a little-ish girl get stuck on a line hanging by her harness and I had to personally track someone down to attempt a rescue. The first two attempts put two other adventurers in danger causing them to speak up and ask the guide to find a different way to help. The guide left for nearly 10 minutes without sending another guide to keep watch on the stranded girl while the rescuer came through on her line and let the trapped girl down. It was extremely frustrating to watch and if that were my child being abandoned like that I’d be extremely upset. Other than the terrible staff, the adventure was amazing!

This is an experience and a half. Very very cool. I’m an old screwed up logger. I used to do all the high rigging for my friends. I would love to have been involved when this was set up.

My husband and I came to wildplay and had such an amazing day, the course and activities were amazing but the staff made it even better! Lola was amazing helping us get set up at guest services and guided us seamlessly throughout the day. Austin and Nikki were awesome helping us get set up in harnesses and guiding us through the adventure course. EV and Austin helped us with the zip lining tour and Austin was so knowledgeable with answering all the questions we asked about the course! Jake and Lee were so amazing with helping us conquer our fear and do the Primal Swing and Bungee Jump, while being super kind, friendly and fun to hang out with on the bridge. And finally Hailey was super helpful guiding us through axe throwing. Thanks for such an amazing day!

What a great place to spend an afternoon. My 9 year old grandson and myself came to wild play yesterday.
We were hooked up in our harnesses and hit the course. We had 3 different young men who showed us what to do, and how to work everything and to keep an eye on us as we went through the course. As we went on it got a little too high. We made it almost to the end when my grandson started to get nervous. He didn’t want to go on. He started to get upset.
I yelled down to let our spotter know that we need help to get down. Less than 5 mins I noticed someone scaling the zip line in front of us, upside down uphill like a rocket. When they got to us I noticed it was a beautiful young lady had come to our rescue. She talked and calmed while she hooked up my 9 year old and gently brought him to the ground. She then asked me if I wanted to finish the course or she could lower me down. She made it look like fun so I got her to lower me down too.
To the owner…. You have hired such wonderful knowledgeable kind staff. Treat them good:)

Me and my sister came for the high ropes course on opening day, we had a great time, staff were very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The course was a lot of fun! My only issue was seeing a decent amount of garbage on the ground.there was a pile of plastic garbage (ziplock bags, ect.) right above the river bank and we noticed an open garbage bin with garbage on the ground surrounding it while competing the high level course. I'd love to see the company maintain their garbage better, especially being above a salmon spawning river. Other than that we overall had an excellent experience!

Had a great time! One of my friends did her first bungy ever here, and then we all did the zipline tour. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made the experience excellent.

What a fantastic place filled with super fun activities and the most friendly staff. Highly recommend the Primal Swing and the Bungy jump!

Bungee jump was AWESOME. Primal drop was AWESOME. Staff was amazing too thx for such a fantastic experience. We will be back.

Had the BEST time! Did the extreme course with my grandson. Found it challenging, rewarding, exhilarating! Staff were friendly and helpful, scenery was gorgeous. Do your self-esteem a favour and check this out, there's something for everyone!

Kids adventure course was fun and challenging. Although my 7 yr old really wanted to do a real zipline but was too short for the Classic course

We had a staff event at Wildplay and it was amazing.the Wildplay staff were accommodating, friendly and fun. The manager, Ted, addressed my questions and concerns and communicated quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend treating your team to an adventure here.

Classic and extreme adventure courses were very fun and challenging. Got an insane workout from extreme course. Arm pump goes crazy

What a great place. Lots of different activities for all adventure levels. Be aware of age requirements for activities on the larger adventures and the last starting time is 6pm. We did the swing as a couple that was a fantastic thrill. Also took our son on the tree top adventure. Will have to go back for the zip lines next time.
Staff were very friendly and fun.

Best adventurous place, I give 10 stars. Price worthy and fun filled, staff is friendly. Waiting to come next time soon!

*Update: I added a star to my previous review for the customer service from Edward, the manager, afterwards. We gave them a call to bring up the experience that all 3 of our classes had on our respective field trips and we were sent vouchers for a future experience. We were also given directions to contact him directly for our next field trip so we could ensure our students had enough time to complete the course. We appreciated the follow-up gesture and look forward to having positive field trip experiences next time. Thanks, Ed! *

If you've got lots of time and are going on your own, this is a great experience. Lots of fun and thrills all around!

However, if you are a teacher considering booking this for a FIELD TRIP, KNOW THESE THINGS FIRST:
1) Do NOT book if there are any other classes going before you; you will get held up and not finish the whole course (this happened to all 3 classes at our school, 2 going on separate days) ;
2) Book as early as possible because they allow walk-ins; if it is busy, you WILL GET HELD UP and your kids will not finish their course.

We had a small group of 15 people doing the classic course and we were held up due to a miscommunication between the admin desk and the trainers at the course. This led to a few walk-in groups getting in front of us and it was a long wait to get past each activity. Even my eager and capable kids only made it through 1 activity on the second part of the course (of three parts) and has no turn around because we ran out of time.

After talking to management, they were helpful and refunded us for part of the course. Looking back now, we were still charged over 2/3 of the price when we only finished 1/3 of it. I was under a time crunch working with my kids and did not have time to reach a better resolution.

It was an extremely frustrating situation and I would have happily paid full price for a well-organized experience where we got what we paid for. I don't understand why this is a consistent issue with no attempt to prevent overbooking on days where there are large groups (like schools) present. I appreciate management's attempt to help with the situation but would rather see a preventative approach is it is VERY preventable.

Very disappointing experience.

Loved it! Had a group of 13 bungee jumpers.all their first times and the guys there made us feel SO comfortable and we were all able to make the jump. The swing was incredible too! But the staff was the best! Thank you for making us all comfortable enough to go through! It was amazing

Everything was awesome - except the pricing - it varies depending upon how busy it is or the time of day. Please be more clear. Beautiful scenery and great, supportive staff and guides. Easy to locate.

Insanely fun. Nothing like facing your fears in powerfully tall trees. Coming from North West Territories, getting to spend a few hours in this kind of nature was incredible. Thank you all so much for having such a fun place to explore. Big jump in challenge level from Green to Blue, so glad I was able to complete them.

Staff rushed to get everyone through as quickly as possible. Virtually zero explanation of what to do for a beginner. The experienced ones in the group had no problem but as a beginner the instructions were rushed in about 30 seconds and expected a level of knowledge. Fun for the experienced but beware the beginner. Decided to abandon the experience after the introduction.

Zip lining was a perfect, quick and fun activity to kick off our trip! The instructors were very competent and fun. Their term “Challenge by choice” definitely followed us throughout our trip, thanks for a great time!

So much fun in the trees, would recommend to anyone who like a little adrenaline or looking to overcome fear of heights. Everything is setup to be the safest possible!

Very fun. The extreme course is a good deal more challenging than the regular course. Pretty tired by the end of it. Took 3 hours to complete the regular course, extreme, and the jump! All the staff were super friendly and nice.

I did bungee jumping here. Amazing experience. Only suggestion I would give is take a good angle pictures. As from top some of the pics are not showing even the face. Otherwise all good.

Best experience specially Extreme park one! Adrenalin rush through out your journey. So much fun!

I've now been ziplining, done the adventure course on all levels, did the primal swing and now my next adventure will be the Bungie jump. Super friendly staff. A little uncoordinated at times but overall a great place to hangout and have fun!

Great fun. A bit busy this time of year of course but they are handling things well. If you're doing the extreme course, prepare yourself mentally. It's not easy!

We loved our experience at Wildplay! Amazing ropes course and zip lines. Some very challenging (we did the classic) and it took about 2 hours. We haven’t tried the extreme but I’m curious! They also have bungie jumping and the primal swing which looks both amazing and terrifying! I would definitely go back!

Our whole experience at Wildplay Nanaimo was amazing! The adventure course was so fun! Jenna was beyond amazing and went above and beyond. She was super fun when we were axe throwing and she gave us a whole list of recommended places to go while we are visiting the island. Thanks again Jenna!

It's fun for all ages doing all the obstacles up in the trees feels like working out hanging, i highly recommend to everyone.

Not big on heights, but the child course (I went because of my brother I swear!) Was easy enough for the 6 year old I was with, so.it's cool, the instructor people were cool, not overly annoying about the whole 'putting on gear part, ' but they could've stayed near us more, often seen pretty far away chatting with other instructors (Sorry for calling out, wasn't a huge problem, and we didn't need help, but.)

Did the wild adventure course and the tandem swing, tomorrow is bungee jumping so far so good, if I live it'll be a 5/5

Very fun. 900 ft of zip lining is fun. Great for first timers. Wish I did the longer ones. Sort of clean bathrooms. Very friendly staff!

It’s a really fun place and I would give 5 stars but the toilet facilities are horrendous and disgusting.

Staff were friendly and created a great atmosphere as you were steps away from jumping off a bridge with a cord strapped to your ankles.

Great service great people! Lots of help and support with no pressure and only positive feedback!
Starting age 5+ and so very much fun!
