It was my first zip line experience, I went by myself and I was the last zip line customer of 2023. Riley and River kept me safe and made the experience a real treat. We had some laughs and they even videoed me so I have a souvenir. I could have bought another pass and gone again right away.

It's the perfect destination for those who want to blend the beauty of nature with a dose of excitement and adventure.
I stopped by for fun with my middle school son during the week. I moved by bus number 95 from the city, not by car, and there was no great difficulty in finding it. To be honest, I looked at it as funny as the experience in the forest that children do, but it wasn't that. It was like range training. It was an experience that even adults could enjoy. It was a satisfying experience for my son who is in middle school.
Love it. The manager was great! All of the staff super friendly! Watched manager helping some kids that were afraid and they were made to feel safe after he spoke to them. Will definately be taking my grandkids back! ;-)
Visited with my mom while on vacay to the island from Ontario. Brinton and Evan were a blast, though it was fairly expensive for an excursion that only lasted about an hour.
We had an amazing time ziplining, even in the wind and hail! Our guides Evan and Tyler were knowledgeable and fun! My young daughter couldn't stop talking about the swamp monster and all the fun nicknames the staff give the stations! Thank you Wildplay for the great memories!
I booked a birthday party February 12th for March 19th. A good amount of notice. Late afternoon on March18th, I received a voice mail telling me that they couldn't accommodate my party because they closed an hour before my booked time. They had an error in their bookong system. I was told they could book me in for 2 hours earlier than my original time slot. With less than 24 hours notice, there was no way we could do this.
I am disappointed that they called me the day before rather than a month earlier when I booked.
I am disappointed that after calling them the next morning during office hours, I was told they could accommodate me if I gave them 30min to ask staff to work late. If that was always a possibility, why couldn't they have just arranged for staff to stay late and just not have called me at all. My daughter would have been able to celebrate with her friends, and I wouldn't have had to write this review.
Wild play has a fun climbing course, but I am truly disappointed with their handling of this booking error. I was told the error only affected 2 bookings.
Wildplay, you should have just gone the extra mile and made it work. And if it came down to a safety concern due to the sun setting (although it's bright until late now), then you should have compensated the people affected better than a free climb for the birthday kid. It came down to 2 bookings! (According to the employee I was talking to. I should mention they weren't a manager. And perhaps a manager should have been the one dealing with the error in the first place).
The kids had a blast in the WildPlay. Kids over 5 years old and 114cm height can go to the kids course. Adult can go on the kids course as well if you think the kids may need help. The zipline for the kids course is about 2-3 meters from the ground so it’s not too scary. There’re not too many people in the morning and no lineup at all. Strongly recommended!
Third time coming here and always absolutely love it. Would recommend the zip lining tour for beginners and the classic adventure course for anyone else.
Awesome! Did the zipline tour with my two daughters (9 and 13). Tour guides were friendly and professional. Wanted to do it again the minute we were done!
So disappointed in axe throwing at Wildplay Victoria. Axes were completely dull, even the staff demonstrating couldn't get it to stick. I asked if they could be sharpened, the answer was no. Then the staff hoovered within 5 feet of us so we couldn't even enjoy a private conversation. Too bad, waste of money. The facility could be great, love being outdoors but need sharper axes and staff who don't feel the need to babysit 2 grown adults who are out for an evening of fun.
Amazing experience, the zip-lines are the most fun thing for me. (please note that the scenic Zipline is not included with the season pass.) I do not recommend the extreme course for smaller adventure course kids.
It's a super fun experience, with helpful staff and lots of fun for all ages. With climbing, balancing, and zip lining, I couldn't recommend this place more.
Such a fun place! As adults, a group of us went a couple of times. Worth getting the discounted card at Costco, if you are a member. Nice, friendly staff, fun (and a little scary) obstacle course, and beautiful scenery. Would not recommend going when it is raining or cold. Your hands might be sore at the end, but you will have a smile on your face (unless you are very afraid of heights).
I had an amazing time today, although I was really nervous. But the staff were extremely nice. They are really supportive and caring. Thank you so much!
So. Much. Fun! Thank you. Our family of four - including a 12 yo son & 14 yo daughter - had so much fun. The zip line was pretty cool, and the Classic Adventure course was a lot of fun.
EQUIPMENT: 5 Stars » The harnesses are in excellent condition, the venue is clean of litter, and most of all the course is very well maintained - no safety issues at all.
So glad we came. We look forward to trying the Extreme Adventure next time.
THE STAFF: 5 Stars » We had some unexpected personal challenges before arriving for our booking. The staff (over the phone) were extremely understanding and accommodating. We rescheduled for another time during the same day. Arrived. Had a tonne of fun!
Special shout out to our coaches, Alex and Paige. These two ladies were rock stars. All smiles, very thorough, and full of encouragement.
It is all self-paced and self-guided, if the first classic course seems hard, don't do the extreme because that one is a lot more difficult. Also felt if you are under 5'3 it will be still quite difficult with some of the obstacles.
We bought our daughter a kid's pass as we knew she would like to do adventure course more than once. We were pleased to see her going 6 times in a row and then asking to bring her to WildPlay next week. If your child likes being on her/his own up in the air (app. 2.5m high) and doing different obstacles (zip line, walking on planks, crawling through tunnels or net) then this will be the treat for her/him.
I've been to a few Wildplay (and other treetop trekking locations) and the extreme course here is super tough, probably the hardest one I've done! It's a bit shorter then some but makes up for it by being a real challenge. Highly recommend!
Zip lining here was really fun! Sierra and Tate were very friendly and encouraging guides. The zip lines also provide some really nice views of the area.
What an incredible experience! Me and my Wife Ashley were on our Honeymoon touring Victoria and had the absolute pleasure of making this one of our stops! The staff were so kind and accommodating and truly made us feel safe the whole time. Thank you to Ella, Grace & Megan for making it an unforgettable day! Push through the fear and you will be rewarded on the other side! We hope to see you guys again!
My husband and I dove head first into the extreme course. Couldn’t finish it, but didn’t regret it either. It was super fun and we had a very memorable time. All the staff were extremely friendly and enthusiastic, not surprising since they have the best job ever! 10/10 would come again, but for the classic course next time
This place was amazing! Ella and River made me feel like I was a tree, that I died and became apart of the surrounding forest. I was fully one with nature. They were extremely helpful, funny and made the overall experience engaging from start to finish! When we come back to BC we will deff visit again
Had an amazing experience at Wild play. Two of the guides Erica and "Strong Arms" Ella were absolutely fantastic! Both super friendly and clearly love their job! Highly recommended!
We had a great time at location. Took the extreme course and it was quite a work out. I recommend coming on a dry or moderately sunny day. Great spot for a date or family activities for all ages.
We bought 4 season passes before ever going, and we’re so glad we did. The kids love this place and I had a great time too. We’ll definitely be getting our money’s worth this year.
We went for a birthday party today set for 240. We went to register at 2: 30 and the receptionist gave us attitude for being there at 2: 30 10 minutes before wow! They over booked four groups for the same exact time and we were backed up by one hour with us reserving 1 month before. Not good business practice. One hour experience turned into a two hour overpriced pain. What can I say, no one was happy. We won’t be coming here again and we definitely will not recommend.
Bought the season pass for the kids and I. Worth it as know we will be back often! Today did the Classic and Extreme.what a workout! They are all tuckered out. Thanks Wildplay. See you again soon!
One of those rare places where you would only see happy faces and happy staffs. Fun is guaranteed. They must try is the Classic course. The Extreme course is amazing workout but it is not recommend for people with high BP or heart conditions. Kids would love the kids course but we have seen some kids do the Classic and the Extreme course as well. It is completely safe. The staffs here works on safety first basis. They give ya short class for everyone especially for the first timers. Even when we were stuck in between courses there were staffs who came all the way up for help. They monitor everybody and will guide you too. There were a few visitors doing cheap show off and not following the rules. We saw the staffs explaining thing to them. But still those were all happy faces.
Another fun part about this place is that you can be here anytime of the day. It's open from 9am to 8pm with that last course starting at 6pm. Since it is basically inside a forest, the temperature won't be a problem for anybody. The booking process is easy.
It's also a good workout and it is recommended to get good rest if you are doing the Classic and extreme course together. The customer care team is excellent. Even the on phone it is very easy to get hold of them for booking. Even if we set up a callback, they call you pretty soon.
One of the best places on the island to enjoy summer or rest of the year.
The guides were helpful and the location is gorgeous, there were so many levels to try and challenge yourself, I bought the seasons pass, which is an awesome deal for my homeschooled kids!
