I had an exceptional experience with Wilson bus driver Jonathan during my journey from Swartz Bay to Vancouver. His service was outstanding, displaying utmost professionalism and providing assistance that went above and beyond. There was a mix up with the luggage but Jonathan's friendly demeanor and prompt response with a fix made my travel seamless and enjoyable. I highly recommend Wilson's services, especially with drivers like Jonathan who truly enhance the overall experience.

WORST bus experience of my life.avoid this company. We booked the Tofino express from Nanaimo in August and the road connecting Nanaimo to Tofino had significant delays. We were held up on the road for 7 hours meaning it took us 11 hours to arrive in Tofino.

This is not the fault of Wilson’s but the work was pre-planned and we were not told in advance. This didn’t allow us to rearrange our trip or adequately prepare by carrying enough water or food. They did not supply any either during the 7 hour delay. The toilet light and flush was not working so it was very uncomfortable to use the toilet. The Wi-Fi or power sockets were also not working and the overall quality of the bus was poor. There were no apologies given and the bus company took no responsibility for not informing us in advance.

We attempted to contact the company and request a refund through phone and email six times. Each time they said they would get back to us and didn’t. Absolutely abysmal customer service and a complete lack of care provided.

Avoid if possible.

Terrible experience over the phone trying to book and understand how the charters work. Not helpful and rude. I Asked to be transferred and then I was hung up on. Glad we didn’t book with them as I’m worried the experience with the charter would be as terrible as the experience over the phone. Be careful!

We were on the 7: 40 bus Tuesday with Shawn and the trip was great. Communication, good driver and very very friendly. Everything was easy.

The worst! I booked with them and the bus was late, so I missed the ferry. When we arrived, BC Ferries said it was not possible to prebook, even though I had an email from Wilson's with my paid booking receipt and confirmation.

They were accusing me of making it up. They even made me send the confirmation email. This is Wilson's fault! I had to stand for ages while they sorted it out. The driver was no help and accepted no responsibility. He did not let me know that we would not be there in time for the ferry.

I was dumped at the entrance, while the bus went on to their berth. I had to walk down to the berth for the next ferry, which was 2 hours later, even though theirs was right beside mine. Not sure why he couldn't drive me down.

The BC Ferries rep had to call her supervisor while I stood waiting. It took about a half hour to sort out. This was a really bad experience.

Voyage Nanaimo - Tofino: Extrêmement déçu de la prestation! Bus très sal et attente interminable au départ, sans personne pour nous informer. Nous avons attendu 1h à Bc ferry, à Nanaimo, et malgré nos demandes à des chauffeurs d'autres bus de la compagnie, 0 informations! Pas plus par téléphone! Apres 50 minutes d'attente, nouvelle question à un énième chauffeur de minibus de la compagnie. Nous lui demandons s'il peut avoir des informations de son côté car nous n'arrivons à joinde personne ; réponse: "i am not behind him".
Finalement, un grand bus arrive et le chauffeur, visiblement fatigué, ne nous répond pas lorsque nous lui demandons si celui-ci va bien à Tofino.nous aurons la réponse quelques minutes plus tard.
Entre deux, une maman, qui est arrivée
avec ce bus, avec ses 2 enfants, a loupé le ferry, de 3 minutes seulement ; 0 compassion de la part du chauffeur.
Pour conclure, payer 140 $Can est un vrai scandale pour cela! Je ne recommande pas cette compagnie.
In English: travel from Nanaimo to Tofino. It was à desastre and I do not recommand this company. Being late can be acceptable if you have informations and human attitude. This was not the case. We, around 10 People, wait for 1 hour without informations from the company and from other bus drivers of this company. The rate is so high, 140$CAN for 2, that service had to be perfect. Morever, the bus was very dirty.
Will not take this company anymore, for sûre!

My review is specifically for the customer service at their corporate office that deals with rentals/chartering. I called to inquire about renting one of their vehicles and the person I spoke to on the phone was quite rude and acted like I was a bother. Very unprofessional and based on that phone call, I definitely wouldn't rent from here.

Legitimately the worst company you could ever encounter. 0 customer support or service in general and especially on the weekend. Even though they operate on weekends. If you operate on the weekend then you have customer support avaliable aswell. But thats wilsons. 0 brain cells. Avoid this company at all costs.

I took Wilsons during the winter storm to catch my plane in Vancouver. They made my trip very simple, allowed my small dog in her carrier and i was able to make it to my flight (one of few flights that wasn’t cancelled that day).
Ed, our driver for the first half was very memorable, with ridiculous dad jokes. He also made sure to keep us informed as there were many delays due to the weather.
Id totally recommend wilsons & would use them again.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Our driver left without us on December 23rd, we made it to the ferry after having to pay for an expensive taxi and when we confronted the driver about leaving before his scheduled pick up time he was aggressive and defensive with us. I have called and emailed this company multiple times and have no ZERO response. They charged us $168 for a service we DIDN'T use. I have never had such horrible customer service.
