WINGS Quesnel

I’ve never been impressed with the quality of food. Last night I was invited to go for dinner at Wings so I went. This will be the last time. Once again the wings were small and overcooked. I mentioned this at the table with my friends and 2 other people said the same thing about the wings. I’m not the type of person to complain to the waitress about the food. This is a complaint that the kitchen should hear. I didn’t bother because I won’t be going back there.

Very tasty food and excellent service. I've eaten at wings in the lower mainland before and they never disappoint, so it was nice to see one up in Quesnel.

Usually Wings is a great fun place to eat and socialize. I was disappointed with my last visit unfortunately. I will have to think about whether I will go back or not. Sorry Wings

This place is always hoping. A great spot for lunch or dinner. Waiters, and waitresses are always super friendly, and around the corner if you need them. The food is delicious, and comes out in a timely manner. It is our go to spot for wings, and my favorites are the potato skins, and BBQ bacon flat bread.
Definitely recommend for everyone kids included

Service was exceptionally slow. Food was nothing to write home about. Bathrooms had no toilet paper. No paper towel no soap. I won’t ever be back.

Great wings! Actually hot! Tons of flavourful and good happy hours special, daily drink specials and of course Wings Wednesday! Best part about that is you can make your wings into bites for no extra charge and they are phenomenal especially for kids:) service was excellent and the restaurant is really trendy and spacious. Definitely a great brand and will go back in anywhere/ any town but will especially return to this location.

I ordered the southern crispy chicken salad and it was disgusting. There was so much sauce it looked like I could swim in it. I let the waitress know and she could care less. She brought it to the back and she came back to our table and said well the cook is new so. I said okay? And? - then she leaves again and comes back and gives me a card for a free order of wings. I spent 20$ on a soggy salad and all I got was a piece of paper for free wings. No apologies no nothing.

Wings are good but quite prepared, causing digestive discomfort. Careful for the really hot ones, they may ruin your life.

Very dirty washrooms - smells of mildew and feces.
Service was friendly, but very slow.
Drinks are atrocious - initially ordered a Gin & Tonic, got a Gin & Water. The corrected Gin & Tonic was what I assume is their version of single shot in a tall glass. I could just taste that there was an alcohol in the glass, but so little that I couldn't for say what kind.
Food was ok - but I would have liked the wings a bit overcooked, based on the cleanliness of the washroom, I had little faith in the kitchens cleanliness.

0/5, do not recommend going to Wings in Quesnel, was seated at 645, didn't see a server for atleast an hour and still didn't have our order taken, maybe a total of 6 tables had people at them, absolutely garbage

Waited for the hostess, waited for the server, then waited for our dinner and the place was only half full. Portions were small. Will not come here again, now waiting for the bill.

Food was great, was busy and a full house didn't have to wait long for drinks and wings. Air conditioning also kept up too while it was hot outside.

Ordered the berry margarita double.there was not a drop of alcohol in it, so we ordered new ones (double) watched her make them got singles but al least it tasted a little like a margarita. The food was delicious though

Stood by the door for 10 minutes before being noticed, was very excited for food the menu was promising but the portion sizes were so small. I got 10 wings for $17 and the Mac and cheese was $20 it came on a huge platter with literally 2cups of Mac and cheese with 2 dry bread sticks… service was slow but friendly… place needs some improvement.

We had dinner (if you call it that) last night, they changed to tiny wings, but only same amount, I think chef has to go back to school as he cooked the wings same amount of time as larger ones would take, they were so dried up, and taste-less. We travel alot and this Wings was the worst we have ever been to. I had Terriaki wings and I was sick to my stomach for hours after I got home. Disgusting place to eat

Have been at this place multiple times. It's always hit or miss with food and service.

Recently had a not so pleasant interaction with the server. Firstly it was half price wings Wednesday and the price on the menu was $16 so half price should be $8.

They charged $10 as the original price went from $16 to $20 and yet the price is incorrect on the menu. Their reasoning was that it's because they're still waiting for the head office to send a new updated menu.

I could have understood that but the server should have given us a heads-up when we're placing that particular order.

It's not about the money but the fact they were not honest upfront plus they won't make it right for the customer.

Quality of the Wings this time was also on the poor side.

Had lunch at Wings today with a group of 10. Thanks to Brandon we had a enjoyable time. Restaurant was busy but he did his best to get us all served and taken care of. Food was excellent. Thanks for the good experience.

It was quite busy and appeared to be understaffed but the waitress faired pretty well. Missed a couple things we ordered (rec'd water when we ordered iced tea) but not the end of the world. I think she would have fixed it if we'd have mentioned it.
Also "their machine" added on a service fee to our bills- I asked about it and she immediately looked embarrassed and took the bill away then came back w that removed. We were 6 grownups and 3 kids

Called at 5: 30 on Sunday to find out when the cut off for a wing order was since we were working late. They said 8: 30. We called at 8: 15 and there was no answer. Called 6 more times and no answer. Voicemail was full too. Super cute way of telling people you're not taking any orders. Thanks for ruining the night.

Delicious wings with a real kick! They don't shy away from the spice so be careful when ordering if you're sensitive to spicy foods. Great service too. We'll be back for sure!

Went for an early dinner with my husband. The service was excellent, food was great, and so were the drinks. Loved the lighting and the booth was cozy. Highly recommend

If you go, ask for Brandon he is a great waiter! Very attentive and my meal is always correct. He is always happy to serve you and does so with a positive attitude. The food is always hot and we'll made.

Well, it's bad and expensive. Went here with my significant other about a week ago and I'm actually speechless. S/O's food was cold, they got the hat trick. I got the mile high burger which came with cold lumpy gravy that I didn't order. Ended up being charged for said gravy. Waitress brought us the wrong order at first. Our table wasn't very clean either. Don't come here. It's not worth the cash.

Lukewarm overpriced wings. Only go during 1/2 off wing days. Went on one of these days and still got charged full price!

Working in the area I decided to review some restaurants in the area. I seen an extremely negative Yelp review of Wings Restaurant and decided to check for myself, and was pleasantly surprised to once again find “Yelpers” are completely disillusioned. Or once again I seem to get exemplary service compared to their expectations, either away it was a great experience.
Brandon was a great host, attentive to all of the guests, direct and accommodating to the needs of my fellow diners, and followed the new COVID mandates with a common sense approach, which added to the great environment. As for food, I tried the fish and chips “excellent”, several assortments of wings and a flat bread. All of which were cooked and cared for properly as I asked for the wings and flat bread to be cooked and cooled to go before packaging, to avoid being soggy/steamed.

I will be back when I’m in the area. Thanks Brandon and staff for the care and great service.

We were part of a large group visiting on a super busy night. We enjoyed tasty food and our server was responsive to our requests. Thank you!

Great food! Friendly service! Accommodating to our dog as much as possible in the outdoor Dining!

Went for dinner with my family was 45 minutes between drink order actually had to go get the waitress to get her to come take a second drink order. Took an hour and a half for food when it got there we had no utensils no condiments no napkins for wings etc. Our waiter never asked how the food was and never cleared anything off of the table for us the one upside is the food was fairly good

Niice patio dining. Just that we were served water in unclean glasses, both glasses had lipstick on the rim.

Great place for wings in Quesnel. There's many great flavours to choose from! I liked the dill pickle for a dry one and the chili lime or Korean sticky sesame. They have a decent tap selection too if you're looking for draft beer. The local Barkerville was great or their house Fiji blonde. My server was very friendly and made sure I had what I needed.

The customer service here is not good. I had the phone hung up on me while talking about my order. I won’t be ordering take out from here again.

New manager I believe trying to make experience better and memorable. Business is picking up again. If looking for hot wings you found them.

Astoundingly poor service. Ordered drinks and AFTER our table had paid, she informed me of their happy hour and that next time I should order 2 singles instead of a double and it would have been cheaper. Sorry but there will be NO “next time”.

Stood at the door, waiting for one of the servers to at least acknowledge we were standing there. Waited just over 10 me n. It wasn't busy.one table outside and 3 tables inside. Disappointed.ended up going to Quiznos instead.

I came pretty late into the evening and was still treated like a welcomed guest.

The wings were good.

The staff were polite and prompt.

If I could rate this lower than 1 I would. I was completely disregarded when I ordered. When I finally got my food it was disgusting. The salt and pepper wings were way too heavily salted and the yam fries tasteless. Never going to waste my time or money here again.

Use to be my family's favorite restaurants but the past few times we have gone the food has tasted off almost old. & the restaurant has been extremely dirty. Bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.

Was very impressed with the new ownership/management last night. New owner made a connection with our table, advised of changes they are making and thanked us for our business. We will be back!

Food was good and prices moderate. We reserved for a large party of 50 and they were horribly understaffed. It was just over two hours before any food came to the table. They knew we were coming and didn't prepare.

Good food but very slow service took forever to be seated and no one in the restaurant. Couldn't get bill either where is everybody

30 min wait to be served. Food was ok
Kid wanted to go there for her birthday. Personally I wont go back until her next birthday.

Absolutely horrible waited 30 min for drinks that did not arrive. Sat on bar for 15 min in plane view.
Dirty tables and staff just chatting with each other.
After 45 min just walked out without service.

Usually quite a nice place to eat. Everything always fresh and tasty. Staff also bery friendly. The only minor thing that I would say, regarding the wings, is that if you order the wings that are sauced (with any of the flavours), maybe let them know if you like them lightly or heavily coated. I have had them barely coated a couple times when I forgot to specifically ask. The dry rubs have never had this issue for us and we dine there monthly. Worth the stop, for sure.

Most horrible restaurant in Quesnel. Got take out. Got back to work no dressing for a taco salad. Told them about it all they said was sorry. Like how about come on back and we will fix you up with a meal later we are so sorry. Nope nothing just took my money and nothing in return chucked the salad in the garbage it's pretty gross with no dressing our crew will not be ever going back and neither should you readers

Understaffed for party of 25 despite advance reservation. My portion size was borderline.
Server for the large group did a respectable job. He was the only person to take beverage and food orders, serve the wide range of food and beverage orders, follow up on group's needs and clear the tables.
This was my first visit in several years and I am not likely to return in the foreseeable future.

Was great when first opened been there 3 times since and service gradually got worse every visit. The last visit was the last.

Amazing service! Super patient and attentive to my allergy questions. Got stir fry without Hawaiian sauce and prawns. Without the sauce you can really taste how fresh their ingredients where and prawns ahere good size! Only thing i might change would be askkng them to toss the rice in butter. Yum

Very, very slow service the night we went. Our friends birthday dinner had reserved seats and for some reason the waitress was very overwhelmed by us. It took 3 hours from beginning to end to have a few drinks, a round of appys and dinner. Plus, she had posted on snapchat a picture of her freaking out in the bathroom to a mutual friend of the birthday girl while we were politely waiting for her to return for our orders.
Most of our food was cold, poorly timed as well because 1/3 of the table would get food and the rest had to wait another 10-20 minutes to get their food.
The only redeeming factor was another waitress comp'd a round of drinks as an apology.

Out of our group of six, both my meal and one other were cold. I had the veggie stirfry. It was undercooked, bordering on raw. The sauce was thin like soup at the bottom of the bowl. I asked the server if she could please get it cooked a bit more. My Grandson said his pasta alfredo was cold also. I had a taste and it seemed like warm sauce had been poured over cold pasta. We sent that back to be warmed also. We didn't get the meals back until everyone was well finished theirs. Mine was still unappetizing. Everyone else seemed happy with their meals. The service was good, but no apologies from the staff on the problem meals.
This is my second negative experience out of two visits. I'm sorry, I won't be back.
