Had an emergency flood Boxing Day due to a burst pipe in my basement. My house was scheduled for sale possession a couple of weeks later. Shawn and his team were very fast to get in touch and really put in the extra effort to calm my nerves and explain the process. This extra diligence really helped ease the stress. WINMAR tarped our roof while we waited almost 3 months for our insurance company to give us the go-ahead on a new one. This remained in place during some pretty big wind/rain storms this summer. WINMAR also took the time to check the attic for any damage. Once approved, the work was completed as promised and the new roof looks great. Also, noticed that the roofer left the work site very tidy - no nails or roofing material left about.

We contacted Winmar for asbestos abatement and Allan was very quick to get back to me, helpful and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Winmar again for any remediation needs!

You can stop searching, this is the company to work with. We were struggling with a mystery stink in our rental house. Allan diagnoses several issues including a very minor gas leak! While I hope we are able to work with the landlord's to address the remaining issues (high moisture, dry rot, mold growth.) I would 100% recommend Winmar to anyone who is questioning the quality of their air.
I wish I had called months ago, I hate knowing that my family was subjected to a low level gas leak (Fortis confirmed it was below olfactory receptor concentration), now to sort out the remaining issues and breath healthy air.

He notified us ahead of time & arrived
on time as agreed upon, as did his other Trades workers. AND they cleaned up after working, Daily before leaving. He answered texts promptly, even outside of regular work hours. He knows his business well and took great care when doing the mold removal part.
We were very satisfied with this whole project from start to finish AND even got a small bonus Refund by coming in under Budget!

I didn't think the extensive mold damage in our camper trailer could be remediated. WINMAR Kootenay assessed the damage and provided options within our budget to remediate the problem. Allan was able to complete the work within the tight timeline we required to not impede the start of a month-long trip.

We were thrilled to have the mould killed, the trailer dry, and the musty smell gone so that we could enjoy camping without worrying about our health! The work was done using professional equipment and cleansers that did more than simply mask odours with perfumes. Residual treatment smells were the product of natural essential oils, and dissipated within days. Allan was honest with us and knew how to do his work well.

I recently purchased a home that had severe smoke coating the whole interior from 40+ years of cigarette smoking. I made a phone call for advice on what to do to make it safe for my young family.
