Winskill Park

Is this park truly home to Canada's first disc golf course with baskets?

If so, perhaps we could show it a little more of the love and care befitting the heritage site that it is.

It's a busy leisure center. Most pools were occupied by kids and guests taking lessons. However, there were a decent size hot tub and a sauna.

Friendly staff, I felt safe for my children to be swimming in the pool great selection of water toys for Kids also life jackets available a fun afternoon to spend with children great family fun

Off to the ferries to drop somebody off and took in a quick round of frisbee golf. I really enjoy these nine holes. Good variety of holes and distances make it a challenge but not too bad. Considering the mucky weather we've been having, the course is still in great shape. Thanks for providing this to the community. Five stars!

Nice gym and swimming pool. Just be careful of your belonging. My Sperry shoes were stolen a month ago while I was swimming.

The disc golf course is well laid out. I like the fact that you can go pretty much to any basket you want. The park can get dirty; many don't clean up after their parties I guess as there's always beer cans and other discarded items strewn about.

The staff are truly helpful and make the place very inviting. Lots of programs for young and older people to enjoy.

Really nice spot, too bad there are so many off-leash dogs with no recall/manners (it's not an off-leash dog park).

Fun disc golf course. It criss crosses so you do have to be aware. But it is a nice flat course. Great for kids.

Hard to figure out the parking at first. If you want to park next to the fields follow the directions to Tsawassen Lawn Bowling club. There is parking for park users right next to the playground.

Aside from how many people sit so closely at the park cmwith everything going on its a great place

Winskill is one of Delta's hubs for fitness and aquatics. The playing fields host all forms of baseball, soccer, field hockey and more. It is the site of the annual BC Day festivities post parade, featuring fun stuff for all ages.
The Fitness and aquatic centre have programs for all.

Nice all weather turf field but the limited parking was not very good. It does have a nice turf area that is large enough to warm up on while a game is in progress (soccer).

One of my favorite places to go for disc golf. Fun short little 9 basket course that's great for beginners as well as seasoned player who'd like to work on technicality in their throws. Definitely worth checking out if you play disc golf, I know they've got an athletic center and baseball diamonds there as well!

Its a popular park. I like to walk around it and always see someone around. Parents with kids on play sets, people walking dogs, baseball players, soccer teams playing and practicing, kids playing different sports. Also a frisbee golf circuit there. Should be a washroom facility there for that much usage. The rec centre is there but a little ways away. Otherwise, very well used park i think.

Baseball and soccer fields. Also has a disc golf course and pool. Pool is small and old but does the job.

Beautiful park with lots of lunch options close by for a day full of activities. Community centre could use some upgrades but great for a small community.
Fields are well maintained

Great place to watch local teams play. Good place to walk and exercise. Great outdoor gym for seniors

Winskill is a great place to just sit back and relax while watching all the cool sports, feild hockey, baseball, and sometimes soccer. Swimming at the leisure center is also like a bonus

My son likes swimming here. Gym staff Vicky is really thoughtful and helpful. All other staff is great too.

Great place to get a couple of quick rounds of disc golf in. Lots of fun and cool local players on the weekend.

Wow. Tsawwassen really does get the best. The gym rocks and the hot tub is the cleanest one in the whole lower mainland par none. It may be an old facility but it is kept up like its new. You guys yup! ️

The facility is good but the auto showers have been broken for months and I have never seen a dirtier change room floor! Dirt, hair, bandaids every time. Time to change the cleaning crew or routine. Discussing!
