Wo Fung Noodle House

Lunch for 3. Ordered noodle soups, chicken wings, and curry fish balls. The flavour is lacking and service was below par. Ok to bad service is almost to be expected at any authentic restaurant. Usually the food is better, not the case here.

I passed by the inconspicuous store, but I didn't expect it to be crowded. The food was very delicious, the service attitude was not bad, everything was very good, and I will come again.

It's a good deal, but I've never caught up. It closes at seven o'clock. Maybe the boss knows that I get off work late.

Casual place for customizable Hong Kong noodle soups and snacks like deep fried tofu, chicken wings, and milk tea variations. The ribeye steak on the noodles was deliciously meaty and rich. I found the chicken wings complete average but the deep fried tofu was a nice portion and tasty. Kind of like eating typical Asian street food vibes. PS…dipping deep fried tofu in ketchup is really good… like a tofu version of McNuggets.

We order 2 noodle soups and 3 pieces of chicken wings. Noodle is super fresh, soup without mixing satay sauce is still good. We both love the beef tendon and beef brisket. They are very soft and marinated well. Chicken wings are best-seller here: crispy and tasty. Price is decent and service is pretty fast. We definitely will come back next time

August 2022 update: I have learned from asking the owner that it is supplier variance issue with the fish balls. I have returned their score back to 5/5 after consuming the good fish balls I remember!
Their pearl milk tea or ice lemon tea are also both good drink choices.

July 2022 Update: they're offering milk tea with pearls currently. Fish balls are considerably worse than before. Possibly too much binder in the balls than actual meat.
4/5 instead of 5/5 now.

I'm a big fan of HK style cart noodles and Wo Fung has executed it with perfection!

I think every item on the menu is well made and tasty.

Their deep fried chicken is definitely a standout item!

I do not hesitate to recommend friends and family to this establishment.

I have been their customer for over 20 years and I do not see that streak ending any time soon.

Small portions for the price. Not a big eater but still only two-thirds full after paying $20. Chose three items as well with drink.

There is a lot of MSG, it is unpalatable, the service is zero, the most important thing is that it is not clean, I will not go again, and I do not recommend friends to go.

This is a very unique restaurant. If you like soup noodles where you can choose your protein, noodle style and soup base, this is your place. They are also famous for their fried chicken wings and HK style milk tea.

Spur of the moment dinner here on a cold, Fall evening. Ordered some of my fave dishes - deep fried squid tentacles, chicken wings as sides (these sides were to die for). Then also ordered my soup dish (oil noodle, satay sauce, chicken balls, wonton, pork slices, tofu skin) while my wife ordered hers (oil noodle, tofu skin, beef brisket). Soup dishes were ok. Bill after all was said and done was just over $50. Service was quick and friendly.

Have been eating with these owners since back in the 90s at old Aberdeen Centre. Wings are the best in Vancouver! Noodle combo has no MSG. Cold lemon tea and wings are my fav.

My first time in Vancouver, I tasted the taste of Hong Kong Che Tsai Noodles! The soup is fresh and sweet. The oil noodles are not like those in Hong Kong and feel healthier. I tried beef brisket, beef tendon, pork belly, pork rind, curry fish eggs, large intestine and wind-fried chicken wings and they were all delicious. I feel like there isn’t as much MSG in Hong Kong. If you want Hong Kong style noodles, you must come here.
