Great experience! Very friendly and proactive staff who were constantly going around refilling sides and waters — but not bothersome whatsoever. The various cuts of meat, soups/stews, and appetizers we ordered were all exceptional. Kbbq is always a go-to but Woo might be the new personal favourite. Thank you!

Update: a big letdown when we drove over half an hour to get there. We got there an hour before closing and were told we could not do the self BBQ option because they would be closing soon. That makes no sense?

Best BBQ Pork I ever had. Thus spicy Bulgigi was so good.
They also had these little BBQ burners on every table so people can cook their own portions served up. Really tasty KimChi samples with your meal.the Tempura was also really good.

The servers were really friendly and polite.
Also didn't loom over to see what the tip amount was being selected which I thought was really courteous.

I cant wait to try some different dishes here.

I love how spacious this place is. Service is very prompt and friendly. The servers come by very often to check on our grills and replace them when necessary. Also, unlimited side dishes refills, yum!

Delicious BBQ and excellent grills. Venting works great and they run super hot giving the meat a great crisp.

Wow really great spot! It was absolutely immaculate in there.so clean. Food was delicious and good sized portions. Sauces and meat and veggies were perfect in flavour and texture. Will definitely go back and highly recommend!

We were a party of four that visited this restaurant. The food was good and the service was decent right up until the end when the bill was paid. We split the bill into two and I paid half of the bill with a tip that I thought was appropriate. As we were leaving the restaurant, our server complained to my partner that the tip I provided was not enough. This put my partner in an awkward position and he ended up tipping the server extra. This is the first time I have ever been to a restaurant where a server has complained the tip wasn't enough and it ruined my entire experience. Absolutely terrible and will never return. Shameful behaviour of the server. If I could give zero stars, I definitely would.

Ive been to different authentic Korean resto inside and outside Canada and by far this is my saddest experience, If youre a big fan of Kimchi-Jjigae like me, well this place is not for you.tasted the saddest Kimchi-Jjigae ever, seriously $20 for a stew with 3pieces (thumb-size) pork? Thats a total rip-off! I mean try eating to other authentic Korean resto like "Ajuker" in Burnaby their Kimchi-jjigae is only $15 and the portion is good for 2 people, you'll get 8-10 pcs of big chuck of pork in their stew. Woo Korean BBQ House for lunch today, as soon as I got my order while the stew is still hot and boiling I scooped all the pork out of my stew and to my surprise its just 3-4pcs not even a thumb size pork lol so I called the waitress (short hair) and asked if this is really the portion of pork in their $20 stew and she just replied that is what they were able to scoop out of their big stew pot.lol

Tried this place after recommendations from friends. The food is very tasty and the service great, however, a bit pricey considering the relative small portions. But would still go again.

If you are looking for cheap, ayce quality type of kbbq this place is NOT for you. My friend and I went to try this restaurant a couple days ago and our experience was really good. Good Service, Quality of meat was tender, ambiance was very chic.

I see that a lot of people have had bad experiences here that reflect on service and food portions but in all honesty. The service was nice and caring. Left us to cook the meat and came back to ask how everything was. The food portions were enough for two women because of the quality of beef you get. We ordered a set menu meal for two people. The Beef would melt in my mouth and i was not ready for how good it was. The side dipping sauces are completely the same as when I went to korea - Salt/Pepper, Ssamjang, Sesame oil with a little soysauce. Side dishes were kimchi, pickled bean sprouts, 2 small soy sauce potatoes. You will just eat the meats and the soup that comes with everything so the side dishes were an afterthought. My first reaction was like "ah this is a small portion" but as we got through the meal we were full by the end of the dinner. Took my friend and I back to when we went to korea a couple months ago.

They accept cash, visa and debit. Our bill wasn't split so we had to pay on one card. Only downside was that we could not split the bill. Overall great experience 4.5/5

Absolutely amazing service. This was our first experience with a Korean BBQ restaurant and our server was available to show us how to cook all the food and how it paired best with the side dishes and sauces. Everything tasted delicious! Can't wait to go back!

I've only had Korean bbq a few times but I am impressed by this restaurant. We ordered jumuluk (AAA Premium Boneless short rib marinated in sesame oil sauce) and Marinated Galbi. We also ordered their assorted veggies and their pawns which came whole with entire shell on. These were ok I wouldn't order them again though. The kimchi is very fresh, meat is quality and tasty compared to other bbq places I have been. The server I had was very friendly and everyone was welcoming. I will definitely return when I am craving Korean bbq again.

Always greeted promptly upon arrival.
We enjoyed a lovely meal. The service was good and I never felt rushed to leave when it was the restaurant was busy. They asked if we wanted more side dishes when we were done so that was never an issue. I do wish they had other side dishes to offer as the 3 options havent really changed in the many times I've been there.
The salt/pepper and 2 sauces they provided were perfect pairings. The tempura was fresh and it was our veggies for the evening.

The food was INCREDIBLE, and the servers were so accommodating and nice! Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants!

A nice place for lunch.a little expensive for the meal i had, bulgogi deopbap with veg tempura, but it was made excellent and presented well.perhaps a better option for a table of two.

Really enjoyed our dining experience here at Woo’s! Great meat portions and the side dishes are delish. Only small complaint is the very tiny sauce portions they give to accompany the meal. Service is great, as they keep checking in on you throughout your meal. Overall, great food and a very clean immaculate KBBQ restaurant.

So unimpressed and disappointed in the service i received today. I love love going to KBBQ and they are always so nice and accommodating but today was such a let down.

Ive never gone to a korean bbq place that doesn't offer substitutions for religious reasons especially when i said i would pay extra. Mind you, ive been coming here for about 2 years now and have had no problem so when she said "we don't do this" i knew it was a lie.will not be coming here again.

Food was okay, better Korean BQQ restaurants out in Burnaby. Staff was friendly but I did feel a bit rushed by the waitress for us to eat and leave. Probably wouldn't go back again.

I never write reviews but I had such a good experience here I have to say it. Food was super good and not that expensive for how nice the quality is. The service was my favourite though the lady who served us I think her name was Jihyun or Jihyo? (I can't remember exactly) she was SO sweet. She was impressed by my Korean pronunciation and was writing Korean with me on her sever notebook. So cute and very good at checking in on us and getting us everything quickly. Would recommend to all my friends I love it here:)

One of the best korean restaurants in the region, Woo Korean BBQ house has everything you can expect from the best; great service, food, and quality AC. I highly recommend Jaeyuk rice as it was very delicious with affordable price.

Good food at a fair price, great covid protocols, clean and well looked after. Was outside but they have heaters so it’s nice and warm.

Bulgogi is yammy, and easy to be cooked, very worthy. Jumuluk takes a bit longer time, but closer to real beef steak, chewy, solid and satisfying.
All other meats are also well marinated, full of flavors. 5 people families may need to order 7-8 servings.
