Woodgrove Centre

Woodgrove Centre in Nanaimo is a gem! I had a great time exploring the mall while my girlfriend searched for brown shoes. The free WiFi was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected and entertained. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the variety of stores kept me engaged. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our shopping experience enjoyable. Woodgrove Centre is a must-visit destination for its excellent amenities, impressive selection of stores, and convenient WiFi access. Five stars all the way!

You can find everything here. There are almost always activities for kids. I wii oh Sh they’d get rid of the old play area by toys r us. Maybe donate it to a local school or child centre?

Food court is ok. Variety and of cuisines. Some seem to be closing now so we’ll see. It seems the most popular is opa! Greek.

Guest services are knowledgeable and great helpers. The kids carts are very helpful.

I go there for Kurves mostly. Soft moc is also a place to go to for shoes, service and prices.

I like this mall. Good anchor stores and nice variety of fillers. Good proximity to Costco and Superstore, and a great White Spot in the parking lot.

I love this mall. So bright. Definitely different from Pine Center mall in Prince George.

Lots of store outlets. Big Parking Space.

Food court has diffrent food choices to choose from. Lots of tables and chairs to sit to. Great for social distancing for eating too.

Stores have come and gone during Covid times. It's sad but this mall seemed over priced with marginal stock.

It's a mall what else can you say! Lots of shoppers looking for sales on things that are in short supply. At least everyone is sticking to the Covid restrictions. Parking can be a bit of a problem so be patient and watch when you're pulling out of your parking space especially if you're backing up. Pedestrians are not paying attention for the most part. Have a safe and happy holiday.

Excellent shopping centre in Nanaimo. Everything you need should be here! It is a great mall for doing Christmas shopping, for example. Everything is kept extremely clean, and there is lots of space; it is not crammed at all. There are so many different stores to choose from and to browse. Lots of parking is available outside, too. Definitely the best mall in Nanaimo!

It's a meh mall.as of sept 30 2020 new owners and management /staff have implemented covid 19 guidelines and rules for everyone going to this mall.i havent been in a long time, but i hear that the new owners are doing good things so cheers and kudos to them.i think it may be awhile til everything gets back to a new kind of normal.whatever that is, im sure we will all take it just one day at a time.cheers all.and hi to the cutie with black hair who works at the spencers gifts.i do so hope youre still there.

Not the best hours for a mall however some good basic stores you'll find at most malls, and good coffee shops!

They pretty much have everything a person needs here. I wish rents were more affordable so as to accommodate a lane of local boutique stores. I prefer to support local.

It’s a mall…. There’s always just a hint of palliative doom in any mall. This one has fairly good shops, ample parking, and clean surfaces.

Customer service needs an overhaul! I was in line behind a older lady how was using a cane.she asked the cashier if she could take the cart out to her car because she could not manage her purchase with one hand. Because of store regulations she could not remove cart.that is fine.however the cashier did not offer any assistance to the elderly woman. I offered to help her. It was terrible Customer Service not to help a person in need! Will not shop there again.

Why do they close so early? Like 6pm is so early, they would get a lot more business if they where at least open till 8pm!

Best mall in town so I and many other teenagers have spent many hours wandering the halls window shoping and eating the ok foodcort food.

I mostly visit the Royal Bank or Walmart here. Parking is good. Good variety of shops and services (pre covid).

Always loved woodgrove mall, and they recently set up an immunization clinic. I'm absolutely terrified of needles but so excited to get the vaccine. My vaccination was done by an older lady with short grey hair and she was FANTASTIC. She distracted me so well I didn't even get nervous. Absolute BEST experience I've ever had getting a vaccination. The perfect place to go if you're afraid!

The renos looked lackluster especially in the food court and very poor selection of trendy clothing stores. The only improvement came with Sephora. The new elevator sax music has got to go. I would rather listen to regular radio or original versions of the songs. It sounds depressing to have a elevator version of Endless Love. It seems heavy handed and a big downer. Play the originals. OR maybe they want us to hurry up shopping and get right out of there.

Vast mall with nearly every conceivable shop to entertain one. Walmart of course takes major points for attracting maximum crowds.

Mall is clean and has a very nice layout. For a smaller city like Nanaimo, I am very impressed with the different options!

The staff are doing a good job keeping it clean and tidy. Not too crowded considering the lifting of restrictions.

It's a mall, so not sure what exactly to review so I'll do this. The floor markings are good, but its confusing as someone who struggles to read when it says "WRONG WAY" I think it applies to me when it's upside down and I am actually going the correct way, but I can see how some people may need those when going the wrong way. Maybe signs so you can only see one side would be beneficial? I'm not sure, and don't know if this effects anyone else. Otherwise, not too busy, arrows are otherwise easy to follow, stores are following protocol as far as I've seen and that makes social distancing doable.

Don't go here much for their chocolate but I do go for their ice cream. I usually get it in burnaby, as this is my first time in Nanaimo, since i now live here; and I love it! The portion was the biggest I had ever seen with a double scoop. It was a hefty piece of ice cream, felt like I was holding a pint of it. The best thing is that I paid $7 bucks for 2 scoops with an added white chocolate coating and nuts. Big portions and the quality was still there.way to go Purdys nanaimo!

Packed with people and line ups less than 1 meter from each other. Covid numbers are going to jump threw the roof I regret going there at all

Loud construction going on in the middle of the day, I am very sensitive to sound after a brain surgery and I can’t be in a mall that can’t be bothered to keep these things until the mall is closed and customers have left.

Great Central place for locals to shop. Important side note: They have closed some entrances to assist in completing temperature checks, so be sure to check that the door is open to access before finding parking. The floor is easily marked with instructions. We went to this mall to assist in buying gifts for a local toy drive, and they had everything and more that we needed!

Best mall in Nanaimo with a good selection of stores. A decent food court and connected to Wal-Mart.

Great selection of shops, fairly well laid out and, clean facilities. Enough couches and seating to accommodate families when we're in need if a nap! (See picture)

A wide variety of stores from end to end.there's always a sale somewhere and the food court has a good choice of restaurants to choose from.

Parking lot is very symmetrical and great location to look for UFOs but watch out for the ghosts of the coal miners that are buried under the sportchek

This mall is a godsend to the mid and upper island. A fairly close drive for me and has almost anything I could be looking for.

Great clean and modern mall. Lots of brand name stores. Helpful and kind staff. Good food court with lots of variety. Has a kids play area and sometimes there are activities for kids. Very typical large Canadian mall but it has all the stores you would want and expect to be there.

Walmart parking LOL what can you not find in this beautifully situated Mall below Mount Benson above the ocean views with all of your RV and amenities as well in transit to your destination of Desire North or South Island woo Tim Hortons and mcdicks your option, redneck directions

Decent mall with food court. Way too many clothing shops. The Bay, Walmart, Spencer’s, Lids, Toys R Us

Decent mall. Newly renovated. Food court is nice but not a great mall for walking around and window shopping

Varieties of shops and good deals. I love the food courts and kids playing area in front of Toys R Us.

So many memories of here while I was a kid and in high-school. Wow coming here brings back so many memories it's crazy. Alot of bad ones some good ones. Anyways, it's alright. Nothing special. But it is the best mall in Nanaimo for all your shopping needs.

Malls are one of my least favorite places, but as malls go, this one is pretty good. There are lots of stores, a Walmart is attached, one of the big department stores also, and a movie theater. The only thing I feel they need is a restaurant with a bar.

My wife and I like a few shops, but we always make sure we have townies for the massage chairs. ;-}

Woodgrove is by far the best mall in Nanaimo and on the Island. It and its suroundings function as the main centre of the city.

Biggest shopping mall on the Island. If it ain't there, it's probably nearby! Over 150 stores with Wal-Mart and the Bay as main anchors. A main bus system transfer point. Nanaimo has too many malls. This one is the one to head to.

So many stores with so much to choose from. This place is family friendly with it's very own playground and babysitting for toddlers, has amazing stores for teens and young girls such as Claire's which does ear piercings, AND its expanding to accommodate even more stores to amp up the experience. This is truly one of the best malls in Canada 10/10 would recommend will definitely return.
