Wu-Yi Taekwondo Academy

My kids have been going to Wu Yi for 2 years now, and have shown a marked improvement in their focus and resilience. The instructors are great, and have a knack for working with neurotypical and neurodivergent kids.

The instructors and team here are wonderful. My kids started their lessons here a year and a half ago and we’ve seen so much progress not just in their taekwondo practice but in their confidence and focus. The instructors will talk about self-discipline and motivate them to reach their goals which I find very inspiring. And they always have fun in class. Keep up the great work.

My son have been doing Taekwondo for almost 2yrs now and we can see his progress. He gained self-control, confidence, discipline and he is more focus. Instructors and staff are so friendly and approachable especially Anthony.

My boys aged 9 and 7 have been learning since more than a year and it has been a very good experience. The program has helped the boys become very organized and hone their confidence. Overall a great experience and good teachers. Definitely recommend

My youngest child has been with Wu-Yi taekwondo for almost 2 years. He struggled in the beginning but his teachers/masters didn’t give up on him and continued to work towards his goal which was to be in the leadership program and now that he is in it, his next goal is to attain the second degree blackbelt by the time he is 14! My husband and I are quite pleased with Wu-Yi for the great taekwondo program they have. Highly recommended!

My son's journey from white to yellow white belt in taekwondo is impressive. He transitioned from being a bit spirited to showing focus and discipline. Thanks to the coaches for their hard work and for creating a fantastic connection with the kids.

Kids have been going here for almost a year now. We love the value they bring, supporting what we teach our children about discipline, honesty, integrity, focus, and, of course, self-defense. Anthony, Donald, and the other instructors there are friendly and helpful.

My daughter, Amaris, had started from a trial spring promo. At first, it was weeks of crying, complaining, and hesitation - kind of normal for kids now-a-days who spend most of their time with gadgets.
A year after and finishing the beginner belt, she grew to love taekwondo. I can see her now as a more confident and determined little girl, compared to her old cry baby feature before.
I commend the intructors who handled the kids so well. They really adjusted perfectly to every kid's needs, tantrums, and special behaviors. They were so patient and passionate in teaching.
Same goes to the rest of the staff, very accommodating and so nice to everyone.the feeling of belongingness is something to admire about this school.

Since joining Wu-Yi Taekwondo (kingsway) in February 2023 i have seen tremendous growth in my son who has learning differences. A special shout-out to Instructor Anthony. This young man is a true leader. He teaches with discipline and compassion to bring out the confidence in my son. Even the junior leaders follow high discipline and work with all the kids to help challenge themselves to be better. I strongly recommend any parent to sign up their kid to help them become disciplined and confident in their everyday life you won’t regret it

My son started here a few months ago and he loves it. We love the program, atmosphere and community they’ve built. The staff is so welcoming and supportive.

Since joining Wuyi Taekwondo my daughter is always trying to do her best in everything she does. She is mindful of her responsibilities at home and at school and she is more focused, disciplined and independent. It also brings out her athleticism and courage that she can do things if she puts her mind into it and perseveres. The staff and management are very accommodating and is always ready and willing to help you achieve your child’s full potential. It is a great learning experience for my child.

I think I made the right decision to enroll my daughter in Wu-Yi (Kingsway) two months ago. My daughter loves Wu-yi classes very much. A coach not only motivates a students, but guides the students in the right direction. I especially like Wu Yi's manager Anthony, he helped me solve the problem step by step. If you are looking for a well-rounded Taekwondo program for your child, I recommend Wu-Yi.

I highly recommend Wu-Yi Taekwondo Academy School because they have the best training and best instructors. My kids love coming to their class, they get excited every time we drop them off. Learning Taekwondo help my kids build their confidence, respect, self discipline, and stay focus.

If you’re looking for an activity for your children, this is the best place to go! Aside from helping kids become more physically active and helps the body in various ways, such as improving flexibility, cardio, and improving blood circulation, it makes them more confident of themselves, make friends and it’s a life skill they will carry growing up. Wu Yi taekwondo instructors are the best. They are very hands on and very friendly. Highly recommend!
