We had breakfast here this morning. We asked for jam and only got 2 pieces when there were three of us, so I ate the dry toast empty. I don't understand why you can't pay attention to such a basic thing. Three months ago we had a better waiter, it seems that the quality of service is worse. “Thank you” for the dry empty toasts.

Amazing service. Try 604 Lager, you won't be disappointed. And definitely try parmesian garlic fries with it.

A large bustling pub on one side, and restaurant in the other. We are on the pub side, so can’t review the restaurant. The garlic Parmesan fries and beer pretzels with mustard were done well and the drinks were great too. Try the fresh Bavarian beer.

I've got a few food allergies and going out to eat can be such a chore sometimes! The staff here were so attentive to my dietary needs, and the food was delicious. Great service all around, thank you!

This establishment is definitely Great Food! Pizza! Generally a Favourite of locals in Vancouver “ Great Selection of Conversations and Brew house!

This is my first time leaving a 1 star review for anything. Horrible experience due to the unprofessional, bald bartender (believed to be named Tobias). He was extremely rude and gave us attitude for attempting to get his attention with a quick, friendly wave - after waiting 15 minutes in line, with 0 people in front of us or on the side. This was the third time that night having to wait this long for him to serve us. Many others from my group said similar things about him: rude, in a bad mood, and actively trying to avoid serving us. He ended up lashing out at us and mocked us, by acting like a waving animal at a circus that hopped left and right. He then aggressively told us to never wave at him again and painted us out to be crazy. We ended up walking away from the situation in complete shock. I’m hoping management can review who was serving on Saturday, April 2nd from 10 pm-12 am. And seeing other 1 star reviews about rude and aggressive behavior from a bartender is quite alarming. Hopefully this is addressed.

We understand if you’re having a bad day, but please don’t take it out on your customers who were nothing but calm and willing to wait for you to do your job. Promoting a safe environment with good vibes is important. We hope all is well with you and god bless.

Mixed feelings about our evening here. I will say our server was nice and the food was really delicious! My first impression was strange though as I walked in and said "Hi! We have a reservation " and the hostess waited a beat and then went ". Huh? " Come on now. As well, a different server than ours brought our food and assumed my boyfriend's salad was mine because I'm a woman. Amusing for sure, but again, come on now. Anyways, we'll be back for the food.

Probably the worst meal I've had in 10 years. The squid was covered in so much burnt garlic it was inedible. My chicken sandwich had a massive blonde hair in it, and my partner's fried chicken sandwich was overcooked - the oil was dripping off it.

There was also something off with the gravy. Found massive chunks of garlic in the bottom of it. Who puts garlic in gravy? ! Really awful.

I rarely leave bad reviews - restaurants have off days it happens - but this was atrocious.

Hella overpriced, too. Not worth it at all.

They have good pub food and a vast selection of beers & cocktails which is great.
But we had a terrible experience last Sunday when they decided to close early as there were only a few tables occupied at 9pm (which is totally understandable). After ordering our last call shortly after 9pm, we already paid and were told we’re in no rush and can finish our drinks until 10pm. However, some of the staff decided at 9: 10pm to turn up the music to a volume where we had no chance to continue our conversation and they blasted the same song on repeat until we’ve finished our drinks and left. It was awful and super disrespectful (and the song on repeat was “Hotel Room” by Pitbull which didn’t make it any better).
Usually, it’s a great spot but after last weekend, we and our friends probably won’t go back there.

First time going here last night. And the only employee that knowledge us was the greeter at the door, did not show us or take us to our seats. They just told us where to go. Also, it took 15mins, no one came to our table, I had to walk up to the bar and ask for a server to our table, I was told someone would come by to our table, again another 10mins went by, THEN a server came by, finally ordered our drinks (which were two flights of beer) another 10mins went by. Still did not have any service or drinks at our table. Absolutely not impressed. Especially when it wasn't even that busy. However, I would give this brewery another chance, hopefully better service next time.

People should not tell they are in a group when they enter, keep your group to 6 to avoid this nonsense 18% service fee.
It took forever for them to bring the food and the drink! Terrible service! This place is probably only good for beer but definitely not for food. The 18% additional service for group of more than 6 is a rip off and nonsense specially considering how bad the service was and the fact we had to be seated at different tables!

Hands down, the best wings I have ever had. Tons of brews on tap, and huge spacious interior with all the tv's to watch your sport on. Go for the wings, stay for the beer.

Beer list very limited for a brewing company. The cocktail I had tasted like diabetes in a glass. Music as loud as a nightclub minus the fun dancing. 1 star for large capacity, and another for good setup (couches and TVs showing games).

Food was poor, beer was not very good, service was adequate at best. Too may better places to go to in that neighbourhood.

I didn't try the food so I cannot comment on that.

Pro: Good beer! Great ambiance! I like the wood and leather interior. The bar side of the brewery is pretty cool. You can see the brewery from there. I love the cozy seating and fireplace.

Con: The coating on the toilet seats were bubbling up weirdly. Not sure what that was but it made it feel rather icky. Clean restrooms are essential but ones in places that serve alcohol even more so:/

Great time here. Friendly service even though the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night. Came late for drinks and snacks, good selection of both. The wings were so good!

Tried to book a table for a group of 10. They told me I must commit to $50 min spend per person. So if you'd like to have some casual drinks with friends, this is not the place. Host on the phone was not even a little accommodating

Spent a rainy Saturday afternoon here in the heated terrace, incredibly well heated and arguably warmer than the inside. Only had wings which were great, imagine rest of the food was good. Very friendly and attentive staff.

The worst dining experience ever

We booked the table for 10 ppl for birthday celebration. When we asked for the bill we find out that we can’t split the bill between the couples, we supposed to order for $50 per person and on top of that gratuities of 20% were included (which is make sense) however, we were not informed about any of these rules when we were making a reservation.

After server refused to split our bill we politely asked to talk to the manager, who gave us fake promises and never came back to the table to explain why it is impossible to split the bill three ways.

We were very disappointed by the customer service and how manager handle this situation.

I really enjoyed my time here the other night. I went with a group on the bar side. I love the fireplace and beers were good too! I just wish they did pitchers of beer and also wish they had mezcal for liquor. The server was super friendly as well!
I will be coming again to enjoy the casual atmosphere and fireplace!

The service was supper slow and the food was average. Our table had 6 people and the charge us 18% service fee bcz we was 6 while the service was not good.
The food quality is average but beer is good.

This place is defiantly from the older “brew pub” era, but good beer and food. I’m a beer nerd and hit a lot of breweries when I travel, so while this place isn’t really unique, it’s a solid spot for sure.

The best pretzels. Really enjoyed my experience here, the waiter was very friendly and quick and the drinks and food were delicious and well priced!

Went here on a Tuesday afternoon with a large group. They were fairly quick to seat us. The place wasn’t too busy and it was nice that we could take a few tables for our party. We ordered a number of different drinks and appetizers. Mostly happy hour stuff. The food tasted like your average fried bar food.

Toby our server was speedy but with so many different orders there was some confusion at times when the food came.

The only damper on our day was the washrooms. Both the men’s and ladies were a complete disaster. No soap, no paper towel, just a big mess.

French fries: Surprisingly amazing fries. Very well salted, wished we could have more!

Menu has changed and many old familiar dishes are not being offered any more. We did order 6 meals and all were really sweet as having cookies with butter chicken. I liked the place, might not go back for food anymore. Next time beer only.

Way too loud. Had trouble hearing friends who were 3 feet away from me. Spoke to waitress who spoke to the manager, but apparently they don't have volume controls? Mojito wasn't very good. Again, music was soooo loud. Go here if conversation isn't on your list of priorities. Hostess wasn't very friendly when we arrived. Our waitress was friendly though.

We get takeout here allll the time! Service is great and fries are delicious! Also, takeout has great value! Always recommend!

Had an amazing server! Nick made our night, he was such a great vibe and had perfect recommendations. Would come back just for his company!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I went in with a group and I tried to order two bottles of the most expensive sparkling wine. It took over an hour to get that bottles to the table. I had to order them twice. The bottle came with out glasses and I had to ask for them. It turn me off so bad that I stopped ordering. The thing wrapped up. They brought the bill, they forget to add the 18% auto tip and they brought another bill with it added. The whole table actually had a large bill as my table mates kept ordering.we were not a small bill at this place.but the service was terrible.we were there for a long time and it was painful trying to get anyone to take an order.or get the bill. I would have given a zero percent tip as the table was ignored - when we were settling up.the service was so bad -it made total sense they forget the auto tip to it but at that point as a restaurant do you forget about it.or to print new bills.well.i guess for this place decided to print new bills.what a joke. I went up to the bartender to ask to pay my bill after no one was going to to table to get the payment - and said i did not want to pay the auto tip as the service was non-existence and the first bill did not have it on- i got to talk to the someone claiming to be the manager - Me: Look I ordered this double round of sparkling wine and it took an hour to get it to the table after having to order it multi times. I don't think it requires a tip.the service i witnessed at the table was some of the worst I had seen in the city.the manager said - of it's hard at last call to get things out.and I said, I ordered this three hours ago.manager: silence. Me: I stopped ordering because it took so long to get it. I would have ordered much more if I could have or if someone had asked or cared- I have been here for a long time but no one ever came to talk to us, I'd like to not pay the auto tip. Manager: It's our policy and I hope you come again. Me: I laughed.yeah.whatever.this is the worst service I have received in the city.and I paid 18% to be ignored - this place is a waste of time.complete not understanding.

UPDATE (5 stars) : Well that was totally unexpected. I was given an email to make a claim, and I was promised I would get refunded in the coming days after I contacted them. I decided to change my review to 5 stars because there was nothing wrong with the beers and more importantly, not many restaurant do a follow up with their clients to make amend. It felt good to know someone somewhere is listening.
ORIGINAL (1 Star) : We had beer only and realized after I got home I was charged a Moscow Mule by server with initial B. Make sure you check your bill before you leave the restaurant. Lesson learned.

Was here with a group for hours and received the worst service ever. I feel completely taken advantage of and will never go back. It took approximately one hour to order a single thing and I'm not exaggerating. We were here celebrating a birthday and knowing this group would have easily spent twice as much if given a chance to order more. What we DID order I would say 90% of the time required someone standing up and searching the restaurant for our server. I would say she proactively asked us what we wanted max 3 times over 5 hours. No waters provided. No napkins or plates were provided with pizza so I had to wipe my hands on my clothes. Ordered a bottle of prosecco that we were left to open ourselves and no glasses. Our friend was cold and asked about turning the heaters on. At first the server said the heater was on. Then we looked at a table next to us whose heater was glowing a bright orange. Asked the server again. She said she would check to see if it was on. Never heard from her. Sat in the cold for the remainder of our stay. Now here is the real affront.after all that we were charged an 18% auto gratuity! I NEVER thought I would be the person to gripe about an auto grat as I have worked in restaurants and understand it is there to ensure the server is properly tipped for the extra care that goes into managing a bigger group. But for one, we were split into two separate smaller tables so I'm not sure what the difference would be if two completely different groups sat where we did. But hey, even then, I'd probably still understand if our table was visited maybe more than once an hour and we didn't have to sit in the cold? As mentioned above there was ZERO care to our group, so paying an 18% charge for literally nothing just felt gross.

The food is okayish and bland. Ordered mushroom pizza and salmon bowl. Didn’t felt worth the price. Service was slow as well. The tables were bit sticky and overall not a good experience

Great food, great service! I saw Chef Vikram Vij hanging out 20 feet away. Now I'm not saying he was at Yaletown Brewing, but.when there are hints of good food in the air, good times follow with happy taste buds.

Chef is a total idiot, gave us a burnt wings and try to pass it on as crispy wings, doesn’t know the difference between golden brown and charcoal burnt.

Amazing, amazing gem in Yaletown. We came on a Sunday evening and we're immediately seated. They had a deal for beers and pizza on a Sunday. Beers we're great and so was the pizza. It has a wonderful atmosphere and staff was super friendly. If we lived here, would be coming back for sure.

We have been to this pub on average every second week for the last 5 years for their pizza Sundays but no longer! They have a new menu and have removed our two favourite pizzas - the duck confit and the shrimp. They also rarely offer stouts. We will be looking elsewhere from now on.

Good food, priced well, with great staff. They were very good with our toddler who had been awake a few too many hours. They provided colouring and these weird wax string toys. Overall, really happy with our choice!

Pulled Pork sandwich was DELICIOUS!

We stopped in here for a small bite to eat. It's a busy place with very friendly staff. We had the boneless ribs and some hot wings. I am a fan of wings and can tell you that these ones were the best I have had. The only thing that let's this place down is there washroom facilities which are in need of refurbishment.

Awesome pub! Came for happy hour pizza and beer. Both were excellent! Friendly staff and clean facilities.

Yaletown Brewing Company is yet another microbrewery in Vancouver. I enjoyed tasting the refreshing Tiger Belly Rye Haizon, the fruity Roundhouse Wheat and the smooth Vegas Breakfast Vanilla Stout. There are also a few really good meals you can order. Customer service is polite. Prices are reasonable. There is a little gift shop beside the brewery.

Great downtown location. Surprised that they had paella expecting just bar food fare. Not a lot of beer on tap selection but what they had was great. Good place to start your pub crawl as they’re all lined up next to each other in Yaletown.

Great brew pub atmosphere and menu options that suit the vibe. House beer selection is good especially on a summers day. Try the Schnitzel Burger for a treat.

Nice bar with good beer. I had a couple of beers with the lemon on top. It also has a small outdoor bar but couldn't get service so hopped back in and were taken care of.

I love this place for what used to be $10 pizza specials on Sundays! (Now it’s $12) Despite the price increase, I still think it’s a great deal for the size and the quality! My favourite is Grilled Shrimp!

Good service. Not a wow factor, but good. Beer is good but there were zero dark beers available. Food was good bot lacking in portion. I'll go elsewhere in the future.
Also, aged beer is better than "fresh beer".

Had a nice meal with my husband, very relaxed atmosphere. Good service, great outdoor seating. Can’t fault anything! Will be back soon

If I were to open a brewpub I would copy this one. Comfortable wood-and-leather atmosphere, a pool table, and big enough but not too big. The bar side is especially cozy and inviting (but see below). Consistently great service and eight tasty home brews. One complaint: all the tables on the bar side are high-chair style. Uncomfortable for most people and impossible for wheelchairs.

How you gonna write “Authentic Genoa Salame” on your “Italian”’ pizza and give me these thick pucks of processed meat?

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Went for a birthday party and we weren't allowed to sit down at the table until the whole group show up, then were told we had to pay $10 for each person that doesn't show up for the reservation. We were a big group of about 20 people and only had one server serving us and she was clearly overwhelmed. Felt bad for her because she was busy and this made her be very slow because she was running around. Heard her complaining and muttering under her breath when we waved her over to our section of the table. Terrible service and was forced to pay a very undeserving 18% gratuity which is automatic for large groups. The food was very unimpressive, I had the chili burger which didn't flavor except for spicy. Friend ordered the BLT salad which was a quarter of a head of lettuce with some dressing and bacon bits, he ended up sending it back because it was terrible and ridiculously overpriced for what it is. Also there was weird wasabi sauce or something on the chicken snitzel which my friend hated and wanted to send back as well but the waitress only came to our table 2 times. The only thing that was good was the unfiltered wheat beer. Will not be going back and do not recommend this place at all.

Only waitress was friendly and nice. Food wasn’t good and also it was pricey. They told us that we had to wait line up for pub, even we had dinner in restaurant.

We went here for my friends birthday and had a great time. The servers were helpful with suggestions for drinks and even brought out a little cake with a candle. We were outside on the patio which was heated - the heaters were making weird noises which sounded kind of scary, maybe look into those. Overall would recommend it, fun environment, laid back and good food as well
