I’ve used Yaletown Storage for over 2 years now and they’ve met my needs 100% from then to now!

Best storage in the downtown vancouver area for reasonable prices and great location, very friendly and helpful staff working there too, especially Oliver.

Nice and clean, recently renovated storage space. Friendly and vigilant staff. I was their customer for over two years, secured storage at the convenient location.

Storage locker was always easy to access. When I no longer needed the storage space after moving Oliver was very helpful and I was able to close my locker easily. Will definitely rent a locker here again if I need a storage space again.

So I went in today to take a look about storage unit rentals I've been looking at a few different places and this one was the most convenient for me. However in this case the convenience of this being downtown is actually not really that good in my experience when I went in conversation I had with the front desk seemed more as if they were trying to persuade me from renting that. By the tone of voice their stance not making any eye contact with me the way they phrased certain specifics about the business and the lockers, it seems as if they were trying to say that there are better places and I shouldn't be there. It was just very unfriendly overall as if they didn't want me coming in asking questions, as if I was interrupting him during is busy schedule of doing something else as if I was an inconvenience for coming in to ask questions very strange I don't recommend these people as I guess they just don't want to do anything they want to do as little as possible including answering questions so I just recommend going elsewhere even though it might be convenient for downtown.

My partner and I stored some odds and ends in a small locker here for a month and had a great experience.

Oliver was polite, pleasant and professional. Move in and move out experiences were solid and I would happily store here again.

I use this storage facility because it's close by. It's clean and fairly well maintained considering the age of the building. The negative opinion I have about this business is due to the man working on Saturdays. He's not just unfriendly, he's hostile and extremely angry. Basic interactions seem to be very challenging for him. I will try and go on weekdays, though their hours make it hard for me to access my locker during the workday.

Would highly recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for a space of any size. The units are clean and tidy and the staff are extremely accomodating. Oliver was a massive help and was super understanding, couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Storguard Yaletown has always been a convenient, well maintained and friendly place to keep our overflow of office items. Oliver, the Property Manager, was a pleasure to interact with by ensuring a flawless move-out and for the all services provided by Storguard. We would definitely recommend and use this facility again!

The staff here are very friendly and accommodating! Oliver was very helpful and made my move in experience smooth and easy! The storage lockers are quite big for the price (as a student storing my stuff over the summer a 5 by 3 was more than enough). They also sell boxes and locks in case you need them.

This place has a wonderful management, Oliver is a kind person who always ready to help you in any issue that you have.
I am really happy with this place services.

Yaletown Mini Storage
Beware of this company or any other storage company in BC! Make sure you have a notarized letter given to your next of kin so if something would happen to you your next of kin can get your things back.
My 37 year old son passed last April in an accident without a will (unless it’s in his storage locker) and even with a notarized death certificate and a notarized indemnity letter making myself (his mother) responsible for all issues pertaining to this locker…. Storguard at Yaletown have decided to auction his things instead.
It costs $3500.00 min to obtain a grant of admin and takes months to get what they ask to release the contents which is about 10 bins and a bed. I have paid storage now since April 2022 of $200.00 per month for nothing while I tried to get these people to give me my deceased sons things back.
They can auction it to a stranger but not give it back to his family.
This company is in the auctioning business not storage.
Beware this is their policy and not a law!

Sorry I had to change my review. The employee Chris that works the front counter has to be one of the rudest people Iv met. Awful customer service, nothing like Oliver, Oliver was great helping me get my storage etc.

I have a flight in a few hours, I have only a hour or so to move all my belongings, I asked to use a cart to goto my car across the street, he said no, I asked why, he said it’s policy, I asked to see the policy, he said no, I ask to speak to a manager and he still refused! I afford to leave my I.d money, etc because how desperate I was. He was incredibly rude and no help, someone like that shouldn’t be in customer service. I have this all audio recorded because I couldn’t believe the amount of times he just said no with no explanation. Please do something about Chris, please and thank you!

I was a customer for 13 years and had a consistently excellent experience. The facility is clean, tidy and comfortable, and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. The current manager, Oliver, is excellent - very friendly and very capable. I very definitely recommend Yaletown Mini-Storage.

This storage facility is a little gem in the heart of Yaletown. The monthly fees are extremely reasonable considering its convenient location.

Friendly helpful staff, clean, great location and very reasonably priced for downtown.
A ramp of some sort to push a dolly up for heavier items would be great.
