This place is so expensive it should be criminal. They make you wait and the vets are never on time. You'll walk out with a $500 bill easy for the smallest thing.

Am utterly dissatisfied with my experiences at Yaletown pet hospital
. On multiple occasions, I’ve felt pressured into unnecessary treatments for my pet, leading to excessive and unwarranted charges. The care has been substandard, with my pets continuing to suffer post-visit. The technicians have consistently demonstrated a lack of professionalism and consideration. I cannot recommend their services and am compelled to warn others of these practices.

We took our puppy couple times already to that clinic. We loved the doctor Sofia. She is a very passionate doctor, love her job and very professional. We gave Only 2 star because the front desk employees. Their demeanor was quite disappointing, as they displayed unprofessional attitude. Any questions they were replying in a manner as we came to theirs own home and kinda bothering them. First our visit we thought probably the front desk lady is just not in the mood but after visiting more times looks like all front desk employees are not in the mood all the time. This behaviors came across as very immature and was certainl not the professional way to interact with
customers. I would even use a word " rude". So great doctors and so unprofessional attitude from front desk.

My dog has been a cherished member of the Yaletown Pet community for many years. In May, I visited the establishment to acquire travel documents for my canine companion. However, during this visit, I encountered a new front desk employee, a young woman of Asian descent with bleached hair. Her demeanor was quite disappointing, as she displayed a rude and unprofessional attitude. It seemed as though she regarded herself as a princess, even rolling her eyes while I was dealing with the anxiety of getting my pet's records in order. This behavior came across as very immature and was certainly not the professional way to interact with customers.

I love this vet! They are en pointe with every single detail. I always feel like my dog and I are well taken care of, from A to Z. Other vets should really model their business after Yaletown Vet Hospital!

My 16-year-old dog, Roxy, needed an ultrasound, and Yaletown Pet Hospital exceeded all expectations in providing outstanding care, particularly for a senior canine like Roxy.

I came in as a brand new client, super last minute, they fit me in the next morning.
Dr Meyers is a brilliant vet who cares deeply for animals. I must also say that this is one of the most aesthetic vets I've been to, the rooms look like someones living room, which I'm sure put the animals at ease.

Dr. Devery called me and went over a treatment plan in detail for my cat, he spent a lot of time answering all my questions and he also suggested a cream medication, instead of a pill - much easier to administer. I highly recommend Dr. Devery for your pet, he is very knowledgeable and really cares.

I can’t thank Yaletown Pet Hospital enough for their exceptional care and expertise in handling my veterinarian-aggressive dog. From the moment we walked in, the staff displayed a level of understanding and patience that put both my pet and me at ease.

This place gave my dog a death sentence during a routine surgery, they were so aggressive putting the tube down his thought that he could barely breathe at all afterwards.

Really bad attitude of the doctor attending my dog, lack of information I will not recommend this place. Also, first, your card, then the "service, " which in critical moments makes you feel used

Great place to take your pet. Have been coming for a couple years with no issues. Had an injury once and they were really attentive!

I took my cat for a routine appointment with Dr Sophie, What a wonderful doctor, super patient and willing to answer all my questions, Alice my cat doesn't like strangers, but Dr Sophie did magic and she was very comfortable and calm. Congratulations on the service.

Oh my God I don't even know where to start other than to say I cried the first time that Dr. Sophie took a look at our cat Frankie… I could feel her genuine love and care for him and already that took so much stress off of our shoulders.

Everything was explained to us in more detail then we even knew we needed.

I'm so grateful to have figured out that this is where our animals need to be seen

IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE

Great place. Super caring and got us in last minute. However we just have to wait 2 weeks for our angel boys ashes. If it wasn't for that it would definitely be a 5 star

Staff are super helpful and lovely. You can tell they really care about every creature who visits.

We chose this clinic based on the good reviews. I have to say we are not disappointed. They exceeded our expectations. They are very nice and friendly and their prices are much lower than other clinics in the area.

Total money grab! Informed us that our 8 week old puppy has a level 2 murmur and his narrow base canine needs to be removed asap but first we need to do a heart scan costing $2000

Want to another vet- No murmur, he is 11 weeks now and was informed that the canine was nothing to worry about yet

Please do you and your pet a favor and avoid this money hungry place

My experiences over the years with this clinic have been great. My little dog was fortunate enough to have Dr. Spooner as her vet since she was just a few weeks old in 2008. He has been a source of reason and calm during the more stressful times of her now elderly life. I’ve always appreciated Dr. Spooner’s conservative restraint and accurate assessment with her diagnosis and treatment, as well as his gentleness with her. He has recently retired. My little old lady doesn’t have much time left, but I know that she will still be well-served at YPH. The clinic has gotten busier over the years, deservedly so because they are a solid clinic!

Very clean and friendly space. The Veterinarians are really knowledgeable and helpful. I took my new puppy there to get his shots done and they were able to give me helpful information about his breed and things that I could do to prevent issues. The cost of making an appointment with the vet for any service- shots, health issues, etc- is a little higher than usual. YPH is really close to where I live and the service is great so I don’t mind the increased cost.
