I have been using this service from a while but this morning the driver who came to pick me up seemed really rude. I had changed my schedule time in the morning to 6: 50 am, while his dispatch said 6: 45 am. He arrived early, but was very hesitant in waiting until my scheduled time. And after getting in the cab too, he kept mentioning how things were delayed on my part which really upset me. Hopefully this does not happen again.
The worst company I've ever encountered. I have 2 occasions on the road with the drivers representing this company. 1st occasion a worker tried to send me into a ditch by running me off the road.tonight as I entered onto the highway a particular worker was on my tail end so close that when I had to stop he almost rear ended me with my kids in the vehicle. He had the chance to lane change and didn't so I moved into the slow lane.followed by him again behind me.because I wasn't going the desired speed he wanted he then put his highbeams on. These workers are a danger to everyone on the road. Their needs to be more thorough screening for proper practice in driving and their reactions to common inconveniences on the road.
Worst services. It was rainy outside and they made me wait outside for an hour but no one showed up. I have called them multiple times and they put me on hold. Tried from a different number and the customer care guy said I needed to wait for another 30 minutes. Do not trust them if you value your time.
Less than 10 minute ride from Ladysmith to Nanaimo Airport - 9km - $33. This seems quite expensive considering my taxi to Ottawa Airport- same distance - $23
The driver was great, very courteous, car very clean; but it would have been $15 less expensive to park my car (Return trip).
I was in a panic today as I had an important appointment and my car wouldn’t start. I phoned for a cab and explained my situation. The cab arrived promptly with a very courteous driver. I was 15 minutes early for my appointment! My return driver also arrived promptly and was very pleasant. Excellent service.
Taxi got a flat tire, which is unfortunate but not unheard of. The problem was that we could not change the tire as the wrench didn’t fit the lug nuts.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I don’t even usually write reviews but this one needed to be out there. I had a ferry this evening that was taking me back to the city to start my fourth year of university tomorrow. In other words, it was very important that I make it back. I called at 7: 40pm and asked to receive a cab at around 7: 55pm so I could arrive with ample time for my ferry departing at 8: 30pm. I was only a 5 min drive away from the terminal and it was the passenger only ferry so only needed to get there 10-15 mins early. I had accounted for any delays in my original call time. Driver arrived at 7: 45, I asked both him and the operator to come back in 10 minutes and received confirmation from the operator that I would get a cab around 7: 55pm. At 8: 00pm I called to confirm, and was told the cab would be there in 5-8 minutes. The operator tried to lie to me and say that he didn’t confirm the second cab arriving at 7: 55– I had a friend there, and we both heard him confirm it. Frankly, it was super unprofessional. Why work in the industry if you don’t like helping people? I was extremely stressed and frustrated but agreed to the 5-8 minute wait as I would still arrive, although cutting it very close. Cut to 8: 15pm—it’s been 15 minutes since I was told “5-8 minutes” and I have 10 minutes left before the doors to the ferry close, and there are no cabs in sight. Bear in mind at this point it has been 35 minutes since I originally called my cab and 20 minutes since the second cab was supposed to arrive. I called the operator to receive any updates and was continuously put on hold despite getting through to the operator within 30 seconds each time prior. I ended up coming close to a panic attack on the street due to the stress of missing my first day of my graduating class. A lovely woman Tyla (unsure of spelling) noticed I was having a hard time and offered to drive me. Right as we were leaving (8: 15pm) I got a call that my cab had arrived. I was extremely upset and told them they had taken too long and I had to hitch a ride from a (very wonderful) stranger. If I could do it all again, I would use literally ANY OTHER TAXI SERVICE!
Just got a ride with these guys be cautious with the drivers I not from nanaimo however I do know my way around I told the driver to go one way he proclaimed he had a short cut took me about 5kms extra put of the way should have been a 10 dollar ride was almost 20 don't recommend these guys at all
Pick up from the seaplane base was excellent, prompt and excellent service. Pickup experience the following morning was terrible, driver didn't even stop despite having ample street parking and having been provided a specific address. Called dispatch and they claimed I was a no show and hadn't answer the phone call. I never got a phone call. Assured me a second cab was on its way but that one never showed.
They are not dog friendly at all! And this would not have been an issue if they had told me when I called HOURS in advance to book a 9: 30pm cab to the ferry terminal and was literally passed by 2 scheduled taxi drivers and then turned away by the third one. They kept sending us cabs when I specifically asked for one that caters to a dog. Additional fees are understandable but the driver was more concerned about the clean up he would have to do with the dog hair for a 3 min drive. When we realized we could walk 7-10 mins we did that too but I mean no sympathy on their side that we’re walking with the dog and backpacks and suitcases. Anyway the only numbers I got was cab 14 and cab 28 on aug 6. If you don’t accept dogs please say so.we could have prevented almost missing our ferry. You should be clear and state you do not allow dogs what so ever and that you do not accept an additional fee for them and that your drivers run from them due to their concern over the car cleaning. That could have prevented alot of headache! Thanks
I gave this taxi 3 stars I find that everyone needs a break once in awhile. They are trying there best most of the drivers are friendly clean and do there job well wait times can be extream sometimes but it's volume of fares not the service. The only complaint I have is if you want to be a cab driver then you should learn the basic layout of the city so you know where your going. Other then that it's been a safe enjoyable ride to where ever iam going. It was 315 dollars to sook from Nanaimo I found that very excessive and maybe I should have negotiated with the driver better.
Very prompt arrival however upon realizing it was not a long trip driver became hurried and impatient pretty much tossed my bags in the driveway at the end destination. Poor poor service I will not be using again for my next long trip
I was in car 30 and the cab driver tried to rip me off when I call in to complaint the dispatcher hangs up in my ear. I told the driver not to do that and he replied I’m waisting his time now. I will not be taking them no more
Wondeful Service, and very nice people (dispatch & drivers/ operators). Most especially earlier, after I did 12-hour shift and meeting this amazing gentleman is a blessing. Thank you so much for the kindness! He picked me up at work and take me home @3am ish.
